It was my first time staying at a youth hotel, but I was able to spend very comfortable. The owner kindly spoke to me and talked to me about sightseeing and accommodation in East Road. We received very meaningful information and became a reference for subsequent trips. The next time I stay, I will climb Mt. Mashu!

Owed this feedback for too long. We actually stayed in Oct2019. Took a bus from Mashu Station and arrived early before check-in time. Gentleman at reception was so kind to let us into our room on 2nd floor. No lifts and we had 4 luggages for 2 females. Appreciate so much for sending them to the room. Apologies for the trouble but we were spending 1mth in Hokkaido. We stayed 3nights and were very satisfied with room. It's kept to the basic and towels were thin but it's fine as room was very clean and tidy. Rate is unbeatable and stay was pleasant throughout. Thank you for the kind hospitality. For those who don't drive, bus-stop is walking distance to/from Mashu Station.

This is a Kyoritsu Resort hotel along the Akan River. From the beautiful lobby lounge, you can see the fresh green mountain stream of the Akan River, and you have already gotten excited while drinking coffee in the lounge. There were chairs where you could see the greenery from each corridor, and when I sat and looked at it, there was a deer. The room was on the mountain (forest) side, but this side is in front of the bicycle parking lot. It was a modern and nice room in twin bed room, living area. All rooms have a bath (view bath) with a view of the outside, but I didn't use it because the parking lot was in front of me. I used the relationship. In front of the large communal bath is a mountain stream of the Akan River, and deer have been eating grass all the time near the open-air bath. It was the first time I encountered a deer in the open-air bath. There are bear-avoiding bells down from the top in two open-air baths, which may also be a deer shelter. There are ３ private baths, and you can use them at any time if they are available (only enter, no shampoo, etc.). Supper was served at a large counter seat along the mountain stream. On YouTube, it was introduced as a seat where you can see deer, but deer did not appear. As for the content of the dinner, there were many items to choose from, it was unique, and the breakfast was good. The hotel had a concept, and the hot springs, meals, rooms and hospitality were satisfactory. It is a hotel that I want to visit again in different seasons.

We used the Japanese style room on the lake side. The room was not new, but there was a wide cleanliness. Above all, the view of Lake Akan from the room is great!!! This alone is worth coming to Akan. The hot spring bathtub is two hot and warm types, but it was a luxurious and slick hot spring with a source hanging. Both meals and free drinks in the morning and evening buffet. The variety of dishes is also good, and fresh vegetables and sweets are delicious in the tempura of the spring mountain vegetables, etc.♡ The correspondence of the hotel 々 is also sincere, and the hand is shaken until the hotel is not seen at the time of return It was really 2 nights ３ days of great satisfaction. I would like to stay here when I come to Akan again.

If you drive there, but there is no parking lot sign, you must ask the staff at the door. You have to park in an open space on a hillside which is a two-minute drive away and then take the shuttle bus back to the hotel. But the attitude of the staff at the door is very good. When checking in, the receptionist was indifferent and didn't want to explain anything at all. All hotel facility information can only be checked by yourself. The whole hotel is non-smoking, but I smelled a strong smell of smoke in the room. I reported that there might be someone smoking next door, but did not do anything to deal with it. The food is lackluster, boasting seasonal ingredients, but the freshness is questionable, and the replenishment speed is limited. The restaurant has mixed traffic. The large bathhouse is nice and spacious; the open-air hot spring on the top floor has a great view, and you can see the starry sky at night. If you want to enjoy the facilities of a hot spring hotel, it is recommended not to come here. It feels like a hotel that exists only for group travelers.

There is also a traditional mixed-gender soup here. The highlight of the evening is of course to see the owls by the stream. One stay, two meals is a great value for money, and it’s a great hot spring hotel!
