Located nest to malls, food outlets, with easy access to the freeway, it’s a convenient location. The rooms are spacious with a desk for working and separate seating area for relaxing. Breakfast Buffett is simple, plentiful with a great range of choice, from your typical cooked breakfast to fresh fruit and yogurt, evening meal comes in the form of a social meal, which comes with a free drink too. All the food I sampled here was delicious and it just keeps coming out. The jewels in this hotels crown are the staff, they simply can’t do enough for you, that are attentive without being overbearing. On arrival you’re treated like a regular and regulars are treated like family. It’s been great to see the staff spending time chatting and catching up with people who’ve stayed before and before you know it, they are doing the same with you. Rarely have I become so comfortable with staff as I have here….. thank you.

Stayed here for a wedding I attended in fallbrook and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! This hotel had clean, spacious rooms, decent breakfast options, and an indoor heated pool. There is convenient access to the freeway and lots of dining options, both quick serve and sit down. This hotel is minutes away from old town making it easy to find something to do. The staff was super friendly throughout the entire visit. Definitely enjoyed my stay here! My only note would be the lighting in the room and bathroom isn’t great. There’s a huge window but being that I was on the ground floor, I didn’t really want to leave it open. There’s also no safe in the room (that I could find at least) but I’d still stay again as those inconveniences are pretty minor.

Ray Richardson is the rudest employee in a Hilton Brand Hotel that we have ever encountered in our 49 years as a Gold Hilton Members. I cannot believe that he is Assistant General Manager. I asked to speak with the general manager. NO place to find him. No business card from him at the front desk to contact him. We made reservations for two nights, breakfast included. The rate stated on the reservation page was Honors Discount Breakfast Included Honors Discount $124” per night. At the breakfast room, the waitress informed us that we had to pay extra for anything cooked, other than what she called buffet breakfast (toast, pastries, greasy sausages, overcooked scrambled eggs, and burnt potatoes). I told her we paid for breakfast already. She repeated that anything special ordered from the menu was extra. Menu they have there: Buffet Breakfast: $ 16 Order from the kitchen: each item listed with its price. So, we only took toast and croissant, with coffee. I asked the waitress how much it would cost if we ONLY paid for what we consume. She said, no problem, she wrote in her pad the prices: $ 3 for 2 toasts, $5 for 2 croissants, total: $8. Which means that Garden Inn is cheating the guests. The entire misinformation at the breakfast deal is totally unacceptable because in the reservation page does not specify that ordering from a menu they have, is extra. After breakfast, we approached Mr. Richardson at the front desk to ask if he could adjust the price of the room without breakfast. With a very determined and authoritarian voice said NO. My husband asked again if he would have any consideration. He replied, with the same tone “Hospitality is not part of my job”. It was an insult to have to deal with him. Our conversation took place at 9:45 am. We went back to our room very stressed and disappointed for the way he treated us. So, we call him from the room and told him we were checking out. We asked him how long we had to pack and leave the room. He said that we had ONLY until 11 AM. My husband asked him if he could give us 15 or 30 minutes more. He responded: NO. Not a minute more. We had to pack in a rush and got everything out of the room. Checked out at 10:46 am. We re-pack everything outside in our car. We are 89 and 76 years old. Such bad moment made us very nervous; it was not worthy to put ourselves at his level. We concluded that was total garbage which ruined our two days outing. Problems in the room: Trouble getting WiFi in our room, finally after several intents, Jason at the front desk gave us a code. The bathroom toilet seat was broken, NO handle to open and close the bathroom door. Plumbing problem with cold water. Moreover of this bad experience, I got a rash in my legs and arms, a very bad reaction to the sheets or something the cleaning person used in the room. I am going to the doctor now. I requested our money back. This is the VERY last time we go to this hotel. I cannot understand why Hilton hires people like him. My folio ch

I really don’t understand why this place is rated 2 stars? I’ve stayed at this place twice now and honestly I won’t stay anywhere else. I’ve recommended this place to several of my friends and they have loved their experience as much as I have. Things are going to be different because of COVID, but they make you feel right at home. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has the best location spot, you are just far enough away from old town to not get hit with all the drunks, but just close enough to go get drunk. The hotel has waters, Gatorade’s, snacks, heat up meals, and little supplies you might of forgotten on your trip like a toothbrush, for purchase in the lobby. Even though, right now because of COVID picnic style eating isn’t available, the hotel has a breakfast bag for the mornings that you are able to pick up from the hotel lobby and enjoy in your room. They have other amenities in and out of the hotel that I put on my other review. Over all, love this place.

This place is a over priced motel 6. Front door didn’t closed properly, as if someone had kicked the door open at onetime. Housekeeping walked right in to our room without knocking while we drinking coffee. For $400 bucks the place was a dump, major rip off.

We booked 3 nights here while visiting family in the area. Our flight from the Midwest was delayed; I called to inform them ahead of time, but when we arrived we had been marked as a no show in the system. It took a good 20 minutes to check us back in at 2 am. The next day our room was not refreshed or cleaned. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone right away. A service person came and basically handed us towels and a handful of coffees and teas and was extremely rude when I asked if the room was going to be cleaned, “I’m not housekeeping.” He told me that the housekeeping staff was basically “lazy” and that was why the room had not been cleaned and was argumentative when I said we had not put out the do not disturb sign. I also had questions about my bill and was told that the manager was coming in at 9 and would clear up any questions I had. When I came back at 9:15 I was told she was in a meeting and couldn’t see me, to come back in the morning. The young man at the front desk was very polite but didn’t appear to be able to answer questions about charges on my credit card. We are very dissatisfied with our stay and would not stay here again.

Plusses: The room was lovely very large and had a lovely view. (Be sure to get a room on the east side as view is better).
Minuses: No daily service. Even the breakfast tray was still there when I came back,. Also the television does not go above a certain volume so as not to disturb others. I see that as discrimination against those who are hearing impaired. And the breakfast was so so. Stale pastries. Not fresh baked. Taste like out of a package, Yogurt was good though! There should also be instructions for the buttons for the fireplace and how to work the shower.
Still.... I would stay again.

Great resort and winery. Stayed here with a friend for a birthday and the amenities included a free wine tasting experience. I wasn't expecting the free tasting so it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very nice and courteous, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We also booked massages at the spa, and everyone there was very professional, and we had a very relaxing time. Wine tasting was great and learned a lot from the staff and other guests. Wish we could have spent more days at South Coast Winery!

MMatthew WilliamsOur room was really nice and very clean.... All the staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for you
The location is great with restaurants nearby and the wine country a short drive away. Easy freeway access. Everything was clean and the room was pretty spacious. The room was quiet. There is no elevator so if stairs are a problem, request a first floor room. Check in/out was easy. I would recommend this as a budget option since hotels in the area are usually pretty pricey.
GGuest UserNon-smoking room smelt like cigarettes. Room was disgustingly dirty! Bathroom was gross head cigarette stains on the ceiling walls from when the shower he did everything up. The room smell extremely bad!! There is so much outside activity going on homeless people drug dealers walking around. A few of the guys that were walking around outside kept trying to talk to my children saying hi waving at them winking at them telling them to come over to the vending machines. Had homeless people with all their blankets laying in there! Cigarette butts all outside. It says no animals allowed it smelt like urine outside the rooms and inside the rooms! Rooms need to be definitely updated . Bed sheets were extremely dirty had hair in their dirty feet Marks . The beds are so hard. I don’t even think our room was cleaned the beds were just made there was stuff on the floor from the previous person that stayed there All night long I heard dogs barking in the other room. You always heard people walking by your door touching your door handle talking. It was just an overall extremely bad place we felt unsafe I didn’t even sleep because I felt like I had to stay up and watch my family. Nasty nasty place
