Where to begin with this one? Firstly i requested to cancel as i was coming down with COVID like symptoms. Ramada Telford seem to not mind that though, so that request was denied (no offer of another stay, or partial refund, nothing). Felt better day of, and decided to travel. On check-in (nor on the website, photo attached) i wasn't told anything about the pool being out of service. Turns out it was. No offer of a full or partial refund. Nothing. Luckily, Trip have stepped in with a good will gesture. Spoke to some people (named below) by email afterwards and basically told ”nothing they can do” and ”it's trip's fault” that the website didn't reflect that their pool had been out of action since DECEMBER. Having read some recent negative reviews I was not expecting much but from my scores it was first class. Good easy to get to place and just a short walk to the main town, we arrived early but were able to check in - very friendly reception staff and gave us all the information we needed. All areas from reception to bar and corridors were well presented and clean and modern look, the room on ground floor was a good size with all facilities required [ nice touch Steph the house keeper left a lovely note ] We had a window which opened and nice green space looking towards a park. very quiet room. Leisure facilities were first class and not over busy (you did have to book the pool but not an issue}. Service at the bar was quick and staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good with good selection of hot and cold food. One stand out point was the hotel was well staffed which helped make for a first class experience.

I booked this hotel in a rush, though it would be a standard car park. When you arrive you have to use the SW1 car park (it’s not clear at all) I drove up to the top floor, couldn’t see a sign for Premier Inn check in, after some investigations found it to be on the 2nd floor (no signage that I could see). I duly exited the car park, in the dark, no signage to tell you which way to go. Lots of undesirables walking around the vacinity as I struggled with my luggage, walking around the town trying to find the hotel, the reception entrance is behind restaurants to your left, I wouldn’t walk directly to your left out of car park past amusement arcade, found it very intimidating with men smoking and shouting outside. Entered hotel, reception is on first floor. Self check in even though there were two receptionist sat there!!! The awful self check in machines never work properly, came up with errors so one of the ladies had to intervene anyway, they were pleasant by the way. Was on the second floor, noisy children running up and down the corridor. Hotel is dated, not the cleanest, bed was comfortable. Couldn’t wait to leave in the morning. Felt very unsafe here. Didn’t have a breakfast as food in Premier Inns is always awful anyway. Would not be returning.

great location for visiting the museums of Ironbridge and in easy walking distance of the Ironbridge itself. Good car parking available. Overall a pleasant hotel to stop at with friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant both for breakfast and evening meal was very enjoyable and well presented. The only issue we did have with our room ( 33 ) was the bed which was most uncomfortable past its best and should be replaced.

I stayed here with 2 others for 2 nights to attend an event. It was perfect for our needs. Very nice room that was exceptionally clean and a fantastic walk-in shower. Having lots of parking and being near lots of shops and restaurants was very helpful. It was very easy to walk to places I needed to be. Breakfast was good! Nothing exceptional but the continental selection did the job and despite limited hot food I could still make myself some nice bacon sandwiches. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very affordable and would definitely stay again!
