The Beaufort Lodge exceeded my expectations on so many levels. The owner spoke to us immediately on our arrival and maintained communication throughout. He even took the trouble to send personal text messages, including one with the WIFI code to ensure that we had it. The room itself was absolutely stunning!

We only stayed for 1 night. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Very good value for money. They don’t do breakfast but Tesco cafe is just over the road & they do a lovely breakfast . It’s less than a 10 minute walk into town. We would definitely stay here again.

Me and my mums friend stayed here due to my mum going into Taunton hospital for major surgery as it was so close within distance which was more than what we wanted at the time . Within the circumstances the trip itself wasn’t nice at all but honestly couldn’t ask for a more understanding owner ( Richard) who was so empathetic And understanding about everything . Room was bright and airy and beds were comfortable which helped calm nerves when waiting for news . Just want to thank Richard again for absolutely everything ! Highly recommend and would stay here again hopefully under better circumstances

Definitely recommend this place, tidy, clean and the check in & check out process is simple. Richard was especially quick to answer any queries & help with our request to check in early. Plenty of parking and only a 10 minute walk to the Town Centre & 20 mins from the cricket ground, which is why we went.
