For a westerner this is a bit of an odd place. Its quite easy to list its deficiencies- there is no bar, no place to sit in the Sun and , I’m afraid to say, we did not find the food vey palatable. Elsewhere in Japan we have steered for the small local restaurants with no English menu - we’ve loved the food but not here. The best you can say about breakfast is that you can construct a bacon butty but as for dinner … well we had pot noodles in our room most nights. A question of taste I guess. Why 5 stars then? Firstly the staff are marvelous- went the extra marathon never mind a mile , simply the best. Secondly our Japanese style room high up above the river was fabulous with awesome views of the river and oodles of space. Even loved the futons. The outside onsen is a great place to chill, if that is the word for a hot spring even if you have to wear an item of clothing which is a cross between a kilt and a loin cloth and does little to cover your modesty. A memorable experience

Right next to Kiitanabe Station. The hotel is located on the 3rd to 5th floors of a 6-story building facing Ekimae-dori. Although the appearance is colorful, the building is aged and the interior is slightly dirty. There are no washlets or wake-up call facilities. Yukata is nightwear. Television reception is poor, and one commercial station has intermittent images. 5,300 yen per night for a single stay on the day before a holiday. This level is unavoidable because it is a local city with few competing hotels.

We were able to use the facilities of Midori-ya, a sister hotel just two minute walk. The dinner and breakfast buffet was amazing, although it would be more helpful if they had English menu. The outdoor bath was the best I have seen in Japan, overlooking the beautiful river.

When I arrived at Watase Onsen after dark in the evening, despite the language barrier, the uncle at the front desk took the initiative to use the translation software to explain in detail the use of the hotel’s facilities and the opening hours of the hot springs. It was a very wonderful hotel, like ３ entering the finger of the book while I stayed so far. I was seriously lost to buy membership on my return. It is a great hotel. First of all, the lobby is great. When the entrance door opens, it is like a southern country. Iasi trees in the beautiful sea. If you go out, a chair like a resort. You feel up. The room is a resort hotel itself. You can enjoy the sea from the window. The view was great while going out to the balcony and feeling the sea breeze at dusk. The hot spring is not large, but you can enter it leisurely. I think it's troublesome to stay for a long time because there is a restaurant cherry blossom super cherry blossom Lawson within walking １０ minutes. Breakfast is also good. I enjoyed it in buffet style. The neighboring farmer in the lobby in the morning? But I sold mycorn. Sweet and delicious and perfect for souvenirs. It is a hotel that I want to go again. Or, if it comes true, it is a hotel that I want to live in.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely love it, our room was pretty big, opposite is the onsen river where you can just jump in with your swim suit, love the onsen of the ryokan too, they have indoor, outdoor and also the private onsen all for yourself, we find nothing to do in the evening around and we pretty happy just to stay in the ryokan and enjoy the onsen and our ryokan dinner, they have a van to drop you off and pick you up if you want to do a short Kumano Kodo, the pilgrimage trail, from here you can take a bus to Yunomine Onsen and try the oldest onsen 1800 years Tsuboya, don’t forget to buy some eggs to boiled and eat after your onsen time in Yunomine, small onsen town. We were really happy with our choice for staying here, staff doesn’t speak English but still try their best to understand us and we’re very appreciate about it, great place, great service and excellent ryokan dinner, the breakfast is not my taste but still happy 😊

I searched for a hot spring inn by the seaside where I could stop by. There is no ♨️ on the map, you can pump it from the basement, and you want to stay at the hot spring! Here, ”Tenjin Onsen / Tanabe Motoyu” is a power-up hot spring, and the spring temperature 31 ℃, pH7.2, and sodium / hydrocarbon salt spring are listed in the composition analysis table of the posting. The room was a deep inn with Japanese, Western, wide and narrow, various dishes, and a single plan without meals. All rooms have ocean views, and the room I stayed in is single. Feel free to stay without meals and feel like a business hotel. A housing complex was built in the old Mera fishing port, and Motoshima was connected by a breakwater, and it seems that ferries and fishing boats passed just beyond the wave-extinguishing block like a waterway. Isn't there a few hotels so close to the sea? It was raining when I arrived, but it was Satsuki in the middle of the night. I wanted to capture a large ship passing through the Kii Waterway far away, but I fell asleep someday. When I look at it in the morning, the leaves of Motoshima Tree 々 are white. It seems that various bird droppings have fallen. By the way, when I opened it from the window, I heard a cry even in the middle of the night.

When I made a reservation at Domi, he prepared a private room because I was the only one. The staff kept me in my conversation until late at night, and I was kind, really kind, and just thank you. Hot springs come out of the faucet. There is an open-air bath despite the cheap hotel. There is a separate public hot spring nearby. The hot spring porridge for breakfast was really delicious. The Japanese-style room in the place of relaxation feels good. The cozy of the inn was very good, and the atmosphere of the hot spring town was good, and I thought it was a waste to stay for only one night. １ of the inn I want to visit again.

We stayed in a special room (with an open-air bath) on weekdays in early November. The open-air bath is just an open-air bath (not only a bath tub but also a washroom) in winter, but there is nothing that can block the outside air. In addition, in November, it was about 0 degrees in the morning (although it was wooden), but the bathroom and toilet were surprised that there was no heating equipment. The front desk was also at least 3 o'clock, but ”now, the lobby is full, so please wait outside. I don't know how many minutes can I cope with it.” When I checked out, there was no apology at all 々 waiting for me. In addition, even if I wanted to get a car from the parking lot, I couldn't get out of the triple parking lot, and I couldn't find the person in charge. It is not a customer service business.
