Tiger Trails Resort

I visited the resort for two nights in October 23. The resort is located right beside the core zone of Tala. The cozy cottages are nicely planned, with sufficient space between them. The service provided by the resort support team is awesome. They were very prompt and eager to help with any needs. I must mention the names of two people, ***ager Mukeshji and Sharmaji. ***ager Mukeshji is always there to help tourists with any needs, while Sharmaji takes care of food and beverage. He always has a smile on his face and is very caring. He stands at the restaurant continuously, whether we went for lunch or dinner. If there is a morning safari, he wakes up early to arrange for parcel breakfast for the benefit of tourists. In one word, I am overwhelmed by the support of the full team of Tiger Trails. I would definitely consider staying at this place again if I visit Bandhavgarh in the future.

The resort is about 2 kms away from tala zone entrance and has a jungle like atmosphere in itself. Very peaceful and calm. The rooms were cozy and clean. The food was tasty and freshly prepared . The staff were extremely polite , helpful and made our stay as comfortable as possible. For every morning safari they packed us hot breakfast and drinking water. They also arranged for quite an early check in for us. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Our third visit to this great lodge,ideally situated for tiger safaris in nearby Bandhavgarh national park,Tala,Madhya Pradesh. The accommodations,although a little dated, are spacious and perfectly fine. The food is plentiful,freshly cooked and absolutelt delicious. The staff all go out of their way to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Special mention must be made to the owner/***ager Mukhesh, a true gentle*** who will do everything possible to ensure you have an amazing time. We organised our stay here through Indian Holiday PVT Ltd and they,***** eith Mukhesh,booked morning and afternoon safaris to the various zones in Bandhavgarh. Their itinerary also included airport transfers and overnight hotel stay in Delhi before our return flight to theUK. For anyone interested in wildlife,especially birds,the grounds of the resort offer great opportunities to see/photograph a wide range of species. However,tigers are the main reason people visit this national park and boy does this place live up to it's reputation as one of the best sites tosee these iconic cats. During our 6 morning and 5 afternoon safaris we had TWENTY ONE tiger sightings! If you would like to see these beautiful cats,I simply can't recommend using Indian Holiday PVT Ltd too highly,especially if you stay at the excellent Tiger Trails Reort where Mukesh will help in any way he can.

I planned my first travel to Bandhavgarh Tiger reserve and I have chosen Tiger Trails resorts. It was so amazing experience to stay in the natural habitat near the Tala zone and the service provided by the staff there. Food was amazing and the flora & fauna of resort is amazing. They have cottages with all basic amenities. I specially thanks to Mukesh Ji and Awasthi Ji who make my trip more memorable and they are the person who arranged all permits and jeeps available on time so the time to sight tiger and other animals will not get missed.

A place of natural beauty and care. Being a solo traveller, i never felt more at home. There were insects and other small creatures in the room. I would advise for some more cleanliness. Mr Bhajji, one who is incharge of dining took great care too. Food was very good and tasted like home cooked meals. Mr Mukesh who is incharge there took care of everything like safaris,pick up and drops and any small request was taken care of. A *** made reservoir for the birds shows the sensitivity for conservation. There itself i sighted ***y birds. I would recommend this place to any nature lover and is not highly disturbed by insects. If you are in the midst of the forest, one has to pass these. I was really sad leaving the resort and would advise people to go for it. It is not a verry luxury stay, having said that, the resort was full at all times of my three nights visit. I hope the resort can maintain this,and does not destroy it's ambience with loud music. A little more cleanliness would be appreciated.. Overall a fabulous experience.

Again I can't thank Mr.Mukesh and his team enough for making our trip so special. It was our son's 6th birthday and we decided to take him on a safari. All this was done at last minute. Our booking was done smoothly through the hotel itself. Mr.Mukesh arranged our safari. He did all the needful. They even somehow ***aged to arrange a cake for my son in the middle of the forest. Food was great. Modest and humble food. The property itself is kept very clean and tidy. Room service and housekeeping is the same as it is any good hotel in a city. Literally had nothing to complain about. The way from the main road to the resort is very interesting. You immediately feel the thrill of coming to a safari holiday.

I am writing this review while I am at Tiger Trails resort, Tala, Bandhavgarh. This is my penultimate day when I am writing the review. I have given 2 rating, but let me start me some positive things: 1. The resort location is very good, 1.5 km to Tala gate 2. The property is good, with open spaces, dense tree cover and nice looking huts 3. It is pet friendly. There are four of us here for 3 days and our experience has been terrible. The amount of money we paid- 6k full board is not comparable to the service here at the resort, and I have paid less in better resorts across other similar places. 1. The housekeeping and service is terribly pathetic. It takes the staff eternity to understand basic requirements and then fulfilling them is another task for them 2. Quality of food is really poor and they don't give much choices. 3. The staff don't listen to any requests and would want to charge for small small things 4. Service time is too long, lunch and dinners are not on time 5. Cleanliness is a big issue, there are insects like wild ants, cockroaches etc. Inside the room 6. Housekeeping took away our stuff without asking and will leave used cups and plates outside the room. All in all, a pathetic experience while the resort offers so much of promise. We don't know whether it is because of the pandemic or not... But this resort is not recommended.

MP trip was on the cards since Nov '23. We planned to visit Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench wildlife sanctuaries in this trip. Starting the Trip with Bandhavgarh, which is said to be a tiger haven and it's highly likely to sight the otherwise elusive carnivore. Here at Bandhavgarh we stayed at the Tiger Trails resort in the Tala zone. It's very close to the core zone. The resort is splendid within the lap of nature. The rooms are spacious with good provision for hot water as we travelled during the winter month(February). The rooms have heaters too. Everyone in the staff is very very humble, helpful and very courteous. They all are localities and so very much in sync with how to keep the ecological balance. We had booked our safaris well in advance which is a must here. Mr. Mukesh Yadav and Mr. Mukesh Awasthi who are the ***agers here are both very very helpful. They made sure we had a very comfortable stay. They helped us with getting a good Guide for the safaris which is pivotal for such trips. Food at the resort was tasty too. homely without much oil. Simple and healthy. All in all an excellent resort for family, gang of friends or even a lone traveller.

As a forest and nature lover, i fell in love with this property. Beautifully set in nature's lap yet providing affordable luxury is truly appreciated. Staffs, good, location everything was good. Highly Recommended for anyone visiting Bandhavgarh.
