Norikura Ikkyu

I stayed there for one night. The building itself was old, and the inside felt as dilapidated as the outside. However, because the inn is built among the trees, it was very cool even though it was a very hot day in midsummer. However, I was surprised that the room did not have an air conditioner. When I asked the front desk to change my room to one with an air conditioner, I was told that none of the rooms had air conditioners. No matter how cool it is, I wish it had a cooler. I slept with the window open, but it was surprisingly cold in the morning. I think air conditioning is necessary. The most disappointing thing was the natural hot springs that I was really looking forward to. I thoroughly enjoyed Gero Onsen in the morning, and in the afternoon, I was really looking forward to the bath at the inn as it looked really nice in the photos, but when I got in, I found that the bathtub, including the inside, wasn't very clean, and I was out in 5 minutes. I did. I didn't think this quality existed. There was nowhere to go and there were hardly any people around the inn, so it was nice to have a relaxing time. However, the next time I travel to Okuhida area, I think I will look for another ryokan. My impression is that I would like to see the facilities repaired and the bathrooms cleaned properly.

After taking a bath, I was drenched in sweat. This year, it may have been unavoidable due to the unusually hot weather. It was very cool and comfortable with the windows open in the mornings and evenings.
