The hotel is spacious,counter service very friendly abd help .after 50km cycling trip from Maibara, in time to have good rest and recharge my battery handphone, has bicycle storage area. .Not far on the opposite right, there is 7 7Eleven convenient shop and few local restaurants. cheap and delicious.

This hotel has the best hotel receptionist we met on our 6 week traveling through Japan.
Our bicycle was broken, she was very patient with the language barrier between us.
She insisted we brought the bike insde the hotel as outside it was too hot.
She went collect plastic gloves, carried our bike chain (which was very greasy), helped 10 minutes to work on the chain.
She told us she worked in a bikeshop before she started working in the hotel.

I stayed here with my daughter, who is in the second grade of elementary school, from October 1st to October 2nd. The full moon at night and the sunrise in the morning made for a wonderful stay with the perfect location. There are reclining chairs on the private beach, so you can enjoy the quiet view of Lake Biwa.
The employees were very friendly and I was able to experience the hospitality that I could not get at the nearby campgrounds, and the breakfast salad was delicious, which made me realize how good the hotel is.
Also, the origami works made by the mother of one of the employees were so beautiful that I was healed just by looking at them, but I also received one as a present for my selfish daughter, which was a very heart-warming piece. They gave me great hospitality. I don't know what kind of person you are, but thank you to the employee's mother for your wonderful work ^_^
Overall it's a very nice hotel.
Although it does not have a luxurious feel, it is definitely a very memorable hotel.
