– Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are all from LE LABO. Those who know perfume should have heard of this brand. They will refill your bottles every day. Just use the body lotion.
- The window seats in the restaurant are reserved for guests who have booked rooms with opera views. If you have booked a room with opera views like me, you don’t have to get up early to grab the golden seats by the window when you have breakfast. Those seats will be reserved for you, so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the opera house while eating.

Service was good and attentive. We arrived early in the morning and the reception offered to send me a whasapp once my room is ready and my bags were already in the room waiting. Location is close to circular Quey and a short walk to the opera house. Staff makes u feel very welcomed. I think they charged me AUD $20 for a bucket of ice which I asked for as their chiller in the minibar was not cold enough to chill my drinks, I only saw that on my credit card after I checked out, which was unexpected but well, I can’t be bothered to challenge as it was a nice stay anyways.

Was given a room with superb view, location was 5 mins walk to Victoria Cross station which was very convenient to travel around. Could see fireworks from my room. Only minor feedback was that the room hair conditioner pump was not working despite 2 feedbacks. Housekeeping was also not on daily basis, even on weekdays. But overall still highly recommended

My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3.
The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”.
Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review.
1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels.
2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative.
3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious.
4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable.
Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

Very, very good hotel, within walking distance of Circular Quay, you can go to Sydney Opera House after dropping off your luggage, very close. The hotel environment is very good, the facilities are very new, especially the mattress, which is really comfortable~ What impressed me most was the hotel service, the service staff are very friendly, the cleaning staff is also very friendly, and they are also very enthusiastic when you need help. The hotel has a self-service area for chick in and chick out, which is very convenient. I will stay here again when I come back~

The hotel is easily accessible from the train station (as it is a slight downhill).
The staff, from being met with a wide smile by the concierge to the check-in staff, are friendly, professional and just a joy to interact with.
The rooms are well appointed, bathrooms absolutely spotless and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast is good, but very few Asian options available.
It should be noted that Google maps is not truthful about the fact this part of Sydney is ”mostly flat”... so walking shoes are a MUST as the hotel is so very close to a number of wonderful places to see, explore and enjoy a meal.

Location is very good. Room is ok, beds are comfortable. Walk-in shower is very convenient. It’s supposed to be a 4-star hotel but there’s no bathrobe, no slippers.
Staff is not very pleasant at reception, not very welcoming - especially the woman always chewing gum. Barely any greetings and no help when checking-in despite the fact that they could see my mother is disabled and is walking with a cane. I had to drag all the suitcases myself.
Too bad.

Convenient transportation, petite bourgeois style, and convenient dining.
The only problem is that the water pressure in the bathroom is a little low, and there is no smart toilet (for those who are obsessed with cleanliness, it would be best to have a smart toilet, but most Australian hotels seem to have no such facilities).

Excellent
GGuest UserAmazing stay always at Holiday inn.I like the spacious rooms at Holiday Inn Macqauire Park. Check out was extended to noon. Thx for the favor. Breakfast is a plus and there are ample parking spaces at the premises.
GGuest UserThe standard pillows were uncomfortable so we took advantage of the ‘pillow menu’ option and had the best sleep on our second night! Thank you W for having this option for guests.
The complimentary options are good and the pool facilities are excellent. Loved it!
GGuest UserExcellent location, extremely clean facilities. Staff were super helful and breakfast included was wonderful. A microwave in the rooms would have been great, but i made do.
GGuest UserExcellent location right across QVB -- check-in was also smooth and the receptionist gave us an early check-in at 11am which was very much appreciated. Rooms seemed new possibly because they have been refurbished, very generous size and everything you need in a business hotel. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Sydney!
KKa WoThey had 3 lifts and one was down, shard by the guests and car park users so you can imagine the wait time was like forever as many others mentioned. The longest I had waited for was 2 mins.
The rooms were pretty worn and apparently needed big renovation. My son has sensitive skin and it was soon reflected the cleanliness of the carpets and curtains were quite bad. He had rashes 15 mins after entering the room. I didn’t expect such problem given it’s an expensive apartment.
Otherwise the location is great, easily accessible to the attractions.
AAnonymous UserIt’s nice comfortable bed and clean sheets. The place is quite old though (used to be a wool factory in past life) and bathroom has mold in the corners but otherwise decently clean. Needs a bit of upgrade. Rooms are very large and has all apartment amenities like dishwasher and dishes, oven, washing machine, iron and dryer. Decent stay for work not too far from city. Cafes available one block away but not a lot of options. Plenty of options on food delivery from city though through the major apps. I’d stay again.
DDaniellaJadeI enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The room had three single beds, which was perfect for our group, and the beds were really comfy. The room itself was a bit run down, but nothing too bad. The staff at reception were lovely and very helpful. The location was fantastic—close to everything we needed!
IIKBUM LEEIt was a great service by Manager. Actually, we booked wrong, was small. Of course we paid extra fee to change the room but we were very satisfied stayed at Meriton...we will book there again for next our family trip to Sydney. Highly appreciated to Meriton reception team & Manager. Strongly recommendable to our friends.
YYustianaI am staying for 5 nights here, the room is quite big, and has the separating door for bed, it has a pool and gym, breakfast cafe is next to the hotel
What i considered this hotel is because their washing machine and dryer inside the bedroom.
The minus are
- this is old hotel, and for that price i guess i can get more facilities than here
- the bed is very smallll ( smaller than queen size)
- the lobby also very small ( but u can get free coffee in the lobby )
- smelly
When u out from the lift, u can smell something that is like old and food idk whats that but it is so smelly.
For Cleaning they always change the towel and helping us to throwing the trash.
