We stayed at Suzhou Shuilumingsu hotel/B&B (苏州水庐名宿) on Xishan Island (西山岛) in the middle of Lake Tai (太湖) shortly after it first opened in 2021. The owners and the staff were very friendly, accommodating, courteous and helpful during our entire stay.
It is not easy to find places that can be described as peaceful or quiet in China, however, this was definitely one of them.We enjoyed a whole day relaxing by the pool which overlooked several nearby islands and a huge expanse of the lake. The entire premises had a modern feel and was tastefully decorated. Our room was modern and relatively spacious. One room has 3 sides that are floor to ceiling glass giving a greater than 270° panoramic view of the lake and nearby islands.
In addition to the peace and quiet, the general area Suzhou (苏州市) is home to many attractions that you would expect of a large Chinese city (and its surrounds), as well as some things that you might not. So there are plenty of options for entertainment and food.
If you are looking for a place to get away from all of the hustle and bustle, then this is definitely a good option. Being on the southern side of Xishan Island (西山岛) it is a little remote, but still relatively easy to get to by car or bus being about 130km (2 hours) west of Shanghai (上海).

So beautiful! ! ! It's like being in Santorini.
The white house is minimalist, but simple but exquisite everywhere. The hair dryer is from Dyson and the kettle is from MUJI. There are also tatami chairs in front of large French windows. By the way, there are also toiletries from L’Occitane's Grass Jasmine, which smells super good! !
The service is also very good. Originally, the staff of the hotel went to work at 8:00. We were going to catch the high-speed train this morning. I told the staff the next night that they got up early. Little sister was waiting for us when we arrived at the restaurant before 7:30, and the aunt who prepared breakfast, said that she got up at 5 o'clock today and drove over by electric bike for 20 minutes. Oh, that’s great. grateful! ! Not a 🌟-level hotel, but better than a star hotel.

環境：民宿環境特別好~ 這一片往前或往後都是農家樂和民宿，有些住宿扎堆的地方會有點吵，水廬所在的這段特別幽靜，但附近又有明月灣和石公山等幾個景區，可以説是鬧中取靜了。民宿整體感覺很棒，有一種在北歐的感覺，每一間房間都是面朝太湖，我們一家三口訂了270°湖景房，早晨推開窗就能看到眼前霧氣還未散盡的太湖，去的兩天天氣還算不錯~ 坐在窗外的平台上看着遠處的風景，感覺一切都值得了！
衞生：270°的湖景房，房間很寬敞，房間打掃的也很乾凈，特別是床上，床單被套看上去特別整潔和乾淨。
設施：民宿提供的洗護居然是歐舒丹的哦~ 另外特別要誇誇吹風機是戴森的，真的深得我心~ 然後房內有浴缸，還提供了一次性浴缸罩和浴鹽 這點真的很用心了~~ 之前入住過帶有浴缸的房間真的很少有提供浴鹽和一次性浴缸罩的，好感度瞬間拉滿！！
服務：最後，住房管家的小姐姐小哥哥們都很棒~ 特別熱情，會入住前提前聯繫好，有需要停車也會預留車位。辦理入職什麼都特別方便和順利~ 我們到的有點晚了，也會送入住的下午茶套餐，蛋糕還挺好吃😋 詢問附近有什麼用餐的地方也都耐心的替我們解答。第二天提供的早飯也不錯，都是管家小姐姐們送到餐桌上的~ 最後退房完成還送了伴手禮，總之是特別好的一次住宿體驗。
一定要説有什麼美中不足的話… 那就是 感覺進房間的地方可以擺放一個香薰，這樣一進來香香的，心情會更愉悦！！
另外，到了民宿才知道這裏居然還是在暴雪時分的拍攝地~ 於是當晚 我很開心的夢到了我愛豆哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈！！

地理位置不錯，就在湖邊，正宗的湖景民宿了。酒店的服務也不錯，提前與客人聯繫住宿事宜。最近有部熱播的電視劇也在這裏取景。酒店的硬件也規格不低，洗浴用品是歐詩丹的。大概是非週末吧，客人不是太多，免費升級了。送的水果下午茶也很貼心。尤其是早餐，雖然是配好的套餐，但店家不斷提醒，有需要的都可以加。若是建議的話呢，衣架有點小，晾衣服不是很夠；提供洗浴的拖鞋就更合適些。

民宿位置很好，離明月灣古村步行幾百米，房間直麪太湖視野很好，可以坐在公區平台上湖景早餐和落日下午茶，週末附近車和人很多，民宿鬧中取靜。服務還不錯，遇到問題能積極想辦法解決，衞生、用品和餐飲質量都還可以，還有送伴手禮。

地段很好可惜因為天氣原因沒看到日落🌅。房間不大，但很舒服，住三樓看太湖實在太美了。要説不完美的因素就是節假日上島堵車。小帥哥幫忙尋找車位，還幫忙提箱子，服務態度很好。退房的時候前台小妹還貼心問是否需要帶把雨傘還送了伴手禮。

管家服務很細心也很熱情，環境在西山島都算數一數二的，能看到絕美的夕陽，入店送的飲品和蛋糕也太好吃了，有驚喜到，吃吃喝喝，看看落日，吹吹太湖的晚風，愜意的很。
房間很乾凈，配備的吹風機，和洗護也都好，洗護用的歐舒丹香味很不錯，江浙滬的朋友來這住住酒店再環島，輕鬆又好玩。離店還準備了伴手禮，這服務不比星級酒店差啊。
