I had spent four days in Ko Samui and wanted to take the train up to Hua Hin. It is quite the journey to get to the ferry, spend a couple hours on the ferry, then catch a bus or taxi to the train station in Surat Thani. So I decided I would depart Ko Samui in the afternoon and spend one night at Neenlawat Riverside and catch the 9am train in the morning. While the location was great for me (less than 10 minutes to the train station), it is pretty isolated so if you're looking to go out while staying there you might be disappointed. The room was nice and clean. I believe most, if not all, of the rooms are standalone bungalows. I arrived early evening and had dinner and a few beers in the bar area near the pool. Food was good and the staff very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay close to the railway station.

Friendly and helpful staffs, a quiet and splendid resort in beauty and scenic nature, there are rooms for the disabled, delicious simple breakfast, far from city center, about 2KM from train station and 17KM from airport

Relaxing resort with nice restaurant and bar onsite .
Staff are friendly and very helpful. I left my laptop at the hotel which the owner helped me retrieve 😊.

Extremely helpful staff. We originally booked a river room but it wasnt really for us. When we asked to change to a garden room they were very fast at sorting it ojt. Bar staff were amazing too

Stayed for two days on the way from Koh Lipe to Bangkok. The hotel is above all praise, cozy, well-groomed every corner of the territory, everything is done with soul. Hens and chicks walk around the area, and there is a pond with fish in the pond near the cafe. They gave us an ideal house, new, everything we needed was there, the only thing missing for complete happiness was a clothes dryer. But there was a gazebo near the house, where we had a pleasant dinner in the evening, as well as beautiful sunsets and views of the river. Very friendly staff, especially the girl at the reception, special thanks to her. It might be a little boring for a long period of time, but I highly recommend it for a few days of relaxation
