The hotel lists a pool and hot tub in the amenities. Both have been closed for over a year. It is a dated building and dated rooms. Breakfast is blah and does not offer much. Staff members are nice and the location is beautiful. Heard loons in the morning.

The lake view room we booked had a great view of the lake from the deck. The hotel needs a major interior update. Everything is dated or past it's useful life. The rooms were clean. It was good enough for a short stay as there are not alot of options for a 1 or 2 night stay in the area.

Looked on line and found this amazing lodge with reasonable rates. When checking in we were surprised at the extra discounts received for AARP and military. Checked in with late arrival and was greeted with great assistance. Restaurants were all closed, but, lodge offers pizza and some sandwiches 24/7. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Will plan to stay again on our next trip to Canada.

We came up to Orr for Breakfast with the Bears at Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary. ( A must if you’re in the area!). Oveson’s was easy to find right off main road in town and about 20 min from the Sanctuary. Clean (dated) rooms. Pool was refreshing and clean. (Plenty of towels and room in pool area.) Hot tub not available during our visit. Breakfast area clean, small; but they have an adjoining dining room area. Breakfast was continental, self serve and plentiful. Staff was helpful, friendly and the lakeside view was beautiful to wake up to. Morning pictures on the dock are keepsakes.
