Time Boutique Hotel

Very nice stay here. A short walk uphill from the town centre in an area near where wild peacocks wander around the local streets! Nice spa and pool with a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi etc. Massages were all booked up - so they need to hire more staff or have more space for these. In the three days we stayed there was only a slot for one massage available and that was late in the evening. Nice breakfast with a good selection. The only other disappointment apart from the massage situation was that there was no food served at all the rest of the time - not so much as even a packet of peanuts to have with your drinks. A pity - I'd like a snack or nibbles with my cocktail! Staff were generally friendly and the room was spotless with a nice balcony.
Dioklecijan Hotel & Residence

I had booked a week at this very nice Hotel, and was looking forward to visiting from the 12th of July. Unbeknownst to me at the time of booking, SAS Pilots where planning strike, and sadly for us it went into effect a week before travelling. SAS was complletely impossible to work with, and could give no information and offered no rebooking until pretty much last minute (and then it was too late, no flights to be had), and at the moment of writing this, they still have to refund my flight tickets. When i booked the hotel, i booked it as nonrefundable (maybe stupid of me, but you know, I have never had to refund any travel before ), so I thought I was going to loose all my money on the Hotel. But!!! I wrote them end explained the situation, and was so extremely lucky that they run a pretty incredible establishment with amazing service, and they refunded all my money no problem and no questions asked. Not only that, but the money was back on my account the day after the refund was made. Thank you so much Andrea and Dioklecijan, You saved me a lot of grief. You did not have to do this, but your did and I am eternally greatful. Will definitely be visiting you next summer !! Much Love from Denmark !!
Residence by Vestibul Palace

Apartments managed by Vestibul, located in a residential neighborhood about 10 minutes walk from the old town of Split but difficult in car. Apartment is very large and it is very nice to stay in the hotel. The hotel has a large modern shower and separate bathroom. All windows have electric stores that isolate from the outside. Grand balcony. The excellent receptionist Maja Baran is still laughing and available for all kinds of advice. Very nice!
Luxury Rooms Floramye

The accommodation has several separate rooms all accessed from a main door to the building then a separate key coded door to a small foyer for Luxury Rooms Floramye and again a separate key code for access to the individual rooms. Very secure and no need to worry about swipe cards or keys to gain access. The foyer had maps of the main tourist area that guests can take along with some other brochures. A stand with umbrellas for guest use was also in the foyer and a small tub chair. The room I stayed in was large along with a separate large bathroom. The room contained a large bed with nice linen. A tub chair and another chair and small table that had coffee brewing machine, electric jug and mugs and glasses and spoon, bottle opener and cork screw. A small fridge (no freezer) was located under the small table enough to cool some water or drinks or a small amount of refrigerated food or milk. A medium sized television on the wall with local channels with the ability to log into Netflix using your own account if you have a subscription . Two large windows with shutters enabled light and air to be controlled in the room. There is also an air conditioning unit. Plenty of lights and power points including USB ports. A large wardrobe with hangers that also has some shelves on one side that has a safe and medical box. There are also multiple supermarkets near the accommodation and a few small food/cafe places and bakery very close by. There is a little traffic noise in the morning and evening rush hour but I had no problem with this and slept well . The WiFi in the room was very good. The bathroom has towels , hand towel, face washer and bath mat. There is also a hair dryer and heated drying rack on the wall for drying towels and power point and a shaver power point. The bathroom cabinet has two drawers for storing items in. The shower has two glass sliding doors for easy access and has a rainfall shower head and a smaller shower head that can also be hand held. Plenty of hot water was always available. The walk to the Riva or the bus station and ferry is approx 15 mins and with two wheeled luggage I had no trouble walking to the accommodation after arriving by train late in the evening. The other main bus station for city or urban buses was also approx 15 min walk. I would say the location is walkable but for those with a lot of luggage or not prone to walking after a day of sightseeing you may prefer to get transportation by bus or taxi . Overall I would rate this accommodation very highly . The owner communicated well and replied promptly with information about my stay and codes to gain access. I had no issues during my stay, with other guests from the other rooms coming and going always being respectful and as quiet as possible.
Bosket Luxury Rooms

The location was great, 10 minute walk from old town. Entrance and hallways were well maintained and modern. Room was cleaned every day during our stay. However, upon arrival there were no reception or staff to check us in. We had to phone number to ask someone to attend which took around 10 mins. By the time staff arrived, a number of other guests arrived also. Staff member who attended was less than apologetic and came across very rude and dismissive. When checking in, we were also asked to pay City Tax, which we showed the staff member that we had paid this already via Booking.com. He then told us this was not the City Tax and it was ”security”. We paid the €10 just so we could check in and get to our room as we had a 14 month old child with us. We found this very odd as there was no security where front door and gate was always open and not staffed. Room was smaller than pictures made it appear and in need of TLC with markings on the walls. Our room felt very dark, to which we realised that one half of the window shutters were permanently shut and could not be raised. The other half did not have any shutters. Due to having a baby with us, we had requested a cot which was provided however on closer inspection it did not have a mattress in it. A duvet cover was folded within as a makeshift mattress. This was really disappointing as this is the safety of a child and if our baby had been younger I would have refused to let her sleep in it. Further to this, two days in to our stay we return to our room early evening when we found our room key not to be working (for the second time). Again due to no staffed reception area, we phoned the number provided on the booking where the same staff member who checked us in attended within 10 mins and provided another key, which thankfully worked. Apparently this was due to upgraded to the keys to the rooms. We asked for a second key due to not wishing to be locked out of the room again with a child however this was refused. We further had no check out guidance or staff in attendance on us leaving. All in all really disappointed in our experience of a
