Amazing location, right at the corner of the wall city. Very quiet area in an historical building, all renovated with really good material quality. The AC and double glazed windows help a lot! Very clean and very spacious room, I was surprise by the space. Very convenient for taxi drop off or 10min walk from the ferry. We could drop our luggages at 9:30 even if the check-in was after 1pm. The manager helped us to bring the suitcases to the 2nd floor. Will not hesitate to come back!

Lovely small, friendly hotel situated away from the busy seafront but within easy reach of everything including the palace. We found the breakfast amble with lots of choices and always freshly prepared. Room was a good size and very clean, fresh towels and bed made every day. Bar did close early but it was still nice to have afternoon or pre-dinner drinks in the garden always served with a smile. Maya was amazing, always greeted us with a smile and wanted to hear how our day went. Maya shared her knowledge about the best sites to visit during our stay with all the details on how to get there and make the most of it. She also recommended and booked restaurants for us, nothing was ever too much trouble. Thankyou so much Maya I wish you and the Hotel all the best for the future.

Fabulous hotel and staff. We stayed in a Superior Room with sea view on the top floor and the views were fantastic. Our room was ready before check in time and it was spotlessly clean. It was a small room, but for one night it was fine. The bed and sheets were very comfy and the ac worked very well. We used the roof top bar and pool area. The pool is very shallow, apart from a small section at the end, but it good enough to cool off in. It's also a good spot to boat watch from. All of the food and drink we had at The Ambasador during our short stay was very good. The staff were professional and happy to help. My partner and I both had massages which were very good, and a nice treat. We didn't use the spa or gym area, but we looked and it was clean and welcoming. We would definitely stay at The Ambasador again, and would highly recommend it for a stay in Split.

Very good location, on the 14th floor of an office building, within 15 minutes walk from the train station, bus station, pier, and ancient city, the room is very spacious and clean, the view is very good (second killing the level of the observation deck). But the problem is that the contact information of the hotel on Trip.com is wrong (it is the phone number of other companies under Luxury, not this store), and the hotel has no front desk. It took me a long time to contact the hotel for accommodation. Figure 3 in the comments is the correct call

We stayed at the Horizon Luxury suites for one night in the superior sea view suite - Blue room No. 5. I was looking for something close to the city and attractions as well as near to the beach. This place is perfectly placed literally a 5min walk to the Marina, old town and Palace and Cathedral. The beach approx 6mins away. The hotel as you may have read is in a converted office block, so from the street it doesn’t look that luxury! Also the doors are totally hidden, to the left of the front, that just looked like windows but actually a concealed entrance which opens when you approach it. The suites are on the 5th floor and I’d arranged to drop off our suitcases ahead of check-in. Nothing was too much trouble suitcases stored, taxi booked the following day to the airport for €40 paid directly to the taxi. The suite was massive, wonderful air conditioning and had everything we needed. The reception desk also recommended restaurants and provided a map to make it easy to navigate the city, I honestly can’t fault this, place…. It’s a little unconventional, so some people may prefer to stick to a traditional hotel, but we’d definitely stay here again, A big thank you to Ivan and the reception team who helped make our stay so easy and enjoyable, your communication and helpfulness was much appreciated.

4.5 stars. Great stay, really nice staff, but needs to work out its kinks. Lifetime titanium did not receive an upgrade but received water daily and welcome fruit and Bonbons on first and second day of a 5 night stay. They gave a 10 usd credit per dayx2. Initially, I wanted to just use for my morning latte but they could not figure out how to apply it if the amount did not exceed 10 usd so I had to order other things to go above the amount just to get coffee. Also the bar with coffee does not open until after 8:30. This was not communicated when I checked in. Rather than go through the hassle, we applied ot to the 25 euro breakfast which was pretty decent for 16ish but not for 25 euro. In fact it seemed like most people eating had it prepaid as part of a package and the woman at the restaurant seemed surprised that we were not on the list of rooms and wanted to pay for breakfast. I am surprised that they did not include breakfast as a titanium benefit. The room was very comfortable and brand new. The non existing shower door was terrible as it always got water out when showering. I asked housekeeper for an extra bath mat and she said I know I know knowingly when I started explaining. All the staff was very helpful and nice and helped answer questions about the bus and nearby area. Bus stop right in front so very convenient to take the local bus to airport, trogir, solin, etc. The local area is quite far from old town. 20 -30 minute walk to old town/river front. Uber to area was 5.50 euro daily to meet tours. I think as the area develops, I would expect to see two pick up spots. One near the hotel and one near old town. I always felt safe walking to old town and in the area as it is next to several large local apartment complex and always there were people walking around. There is a local mall joker mall 2 blocks away that has grocery, drug store, and one great cevap local restaurant that was delicious. Very happy that we stayed there and appreciate the friendly and helpful staff. I think this will become a big meeting and tour group destination as it is perfect for big bus tour groups who have transport already arranged.

The hostel itself was so clean, comfortable and moderately large and nice. The desk was good as much as the school accommodation was renovated and the building and the interior of the hostel were really clean. Good hostel view The bed is a single bed, so it's not good for couples. Everything else is good, but the location is a bit bad. I took Uber to downtown, but it's about 45 kuna. Still, it was okay because it wasn't far away

Let's start with the positives. Reception staff wonderful. I belive I mostly dealt with Anna marie who was amazing. Room was nice comfy bed, spacious balcony and a very relaxed vibe. I had inconvenience at breakfast being served undercooked food however it was resolved and the hotel apologised gave my girlfriend and I a bottle of wine and some cheese cake. Also positive is you get free transport to the beach Negatives - Being served raw chicken Serving staff didn't seem to be bothered by the raw food. Over priced restaurant especially as the centre of split is like a 15min drive. Being told you cannot have your own food and drink in the restaurant I understand but by the pool I think is a joke. Especially as it's like 35 degree heat and I'm told I'm not allowed my bottle of water. Like come on, water is essential this should be the exception. Also booked an excursion through the hotel and the company they used forgot my partner and I and had to rearrange a date, not sure if it was the hotel's fault but if they use a company they are partly responsible. I also think breakfast was a bit boring. Additional Info - Excursions are more expensive if booked through the hotel Always use Uber so you don't get ripped off.

Hotel Eden is a lovely family run hotel. It is situated about 30 minutes outside of Split in Podstrana with wonderful views. The hotel is very easily accessible by bus or taxi. The staff are very helpful, attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious, modern & clean. We had a wonderful stay. Buffet breakfast had hot & cold options available. We also ate in the Eden Restaurant on a number of occasions, had absolutely no complaints about the food or the service provided. I have only given it a rating of four as the only disappointment we had was there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Another observation I would like to make & it is not a criticism but a suggestion, is that at the end of each day it would be good to move the sun bed mattresses undercover as when there has been a storm/rained overnight the mattresses are soaked through, they also take time to dry out before you can lay on them again. Having said that it, we would be more than happy to stay there again, we would also happily recommend.
