Coire Glas Guest House

Had a very enjoyable stay here on our first stop as we embarked on the Great Glen Way. The hosts were very welcoming and kindly collected us from Gairlochy as planned. Rooms were modern, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Nice little local touches in the room too, such as regional soaps/shower gel. Breakfast was also excellent. I am quite fussy with coffee in general but here it was very good, no need to worry. Short story - go ahead and book!

We just recently visited Coire Glas Guest House and had the best experience while staying in Scotland. Morven and Simon are great host. Their home is inviting and the accommodation are beautiful and they make you feel very comfortable. Their attention to detail is spot on. The breakfast they served was scrumptious! Morven and Simon are both great cooks, even my mother in law who had never tried porridge loved it. I would recommend them to anyone who is wanting to stay in the area. If you are a hiker or cyclists this is a perfect place to stay. The view they have of the mountains is beautiful and I might add they have the CLEANEST windows around to see that view. Like I said before their attention to details big and small are exceptional. Cheers to them.

We spent a very comfortable night at the Coire Glas Guest House during our hike of the Great Glen Way. Our room was spacious and clean, the house itself was lovely and breakfast was good. Simon was a very helpful host who kindly drove us back to the trail the next day.

Simon and Morven are fabulous hosts. They clearly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. The breakfasts are fresh, and the choice is fantastic. Bedrooms are spotless as is the lounge and breakfast room. We booked 5 rooms for our large family and another at the very last minute. Morven was super accommodating to fit us all in. We had the fastest check in with Simon as we had a taxi waiting. He was so patient and explained everything to us at super speed! Lastly, we met Morvens Dad - What a lovely gentleman with a brilliant outlook on life. Whoever stays here and offers less than 5 ⭐️ needs to take a reality check. Thanks again for your hospitality.

A fantastic place to stay, Simon and Morven are terrific hosts. Booked local restaurant for our second night. Lovely room, the Breakfasts were superb. Definitely recommend and would return in the future. Lee & Sue

Spent two days with Simon and Morven while hiking the Great Glen Way. They went out of their way to accommodate us: setting up dinner reservations ahead of our stay and providing transportation to and from the trails. Nice setting a short distance from town, comfortable beds, and great breakfast.

What a wonderful place to stay. Such welcoming hosts, nothing was to much trouble, fabulous breakfast too! Close to all Fort William amenities and plenty of on site parking. Stay again? Definitely.

We loved staying here - even though it was just for one night. Wishing we could have extended our time in the area just so that we could have stayed longer at Coire Glas. Simon & Morven are wonderful. Even though we're pretty sure the B&B was 100% booked, it was VERY quiet there - so peaceful. The best part was sitting out on the back patio after dinner. It was a cool, slightly drizzly evening, but we hauled out the ginormous (and very soft) blankets provided in the room - and got cozy on a bench out back. The perfect place to sip hot cocoa or a glass of wine, read your book, and take in the lush surroundings! Simon even joined us outside for a brief chat which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was wonderful - I opted for cereal, scrambled eggs & smoked salmon on toast, coffee, and orange juice. The perfect amount of food to keep us going through the morning's activities. Morven is the one who checked us in, and she was very kind about providing local restaurant recommendations in the Spean Bridge area. She'll even try to make a reservation for you if possible! But - we opted for lochside dining on Loch Lochy at the Lochside Brasserie (located in the Whispering Pine Lodge, about a 20-minute drive from Coire Glas). Highly recommend it especially if you luck out on sunny weather - they have a phenomenal deck RIGHT on the loch.
