We came to stay at the hotel tappi while my partner was attempting to swim the Tsugaru strait. At first, it felt like we were staying at grandma’s house. The decorations and accommodations are dated but comfortable and the staff made us feel like family. We had western style rooms with comfortable beds. They gave us little snacks in the rooms and the breakfast and dinners were amazing! Don’t let the fixed menu deter you. The fresh seafood was absolutely incredible. And there are enough cooked options to accommodate those who don’t love raw fish. We were able to communicate with the staff even without knowing much Japanese. Overall, a charming, comfortable stay. Be sure to take some time exploring the beaches in the area. It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited.

新函館北斗から新幹線に乗り40分。2駅先の奥津軽いまべつ駅で下車。(日本一乗降者数が少ない新幹線駅なんだとか。)そこからホテルの送迎車両に乗り30分くらいだったか。火サスでおなじみ竜飛岬の断崖絶壁上にある温泉ホテルでした。北海道民としては、もっとも手軽にいける内地もとい本州と言えると思います。景色がいいのと、食事が素晴らしかったのと、最果てに来た感がすごかったです。温泉街もいいけど、このような最果ての地で物思いにふけるのもいいですね。

一度は行ってみたいと思っていてやっと行けましたが、はっきり言って残念の一言でした。良いのは津軽海峡の景色だけで特に食事にはガッカリです。多分、アワビにコストがかかり過ぎてるのでしょうけどそれにしても宿泊代のわりにはしょぼ過ぎです。他県の宿のビュッフェスタイルの夕食の方がもっと安くて豪華です。朝食に至っては、よくあるビジネスホテルチェーンのサービス朝食並でした。ぼったくられ感でいっぱいです。魅力のある場所ですがアクセスに難があり、一軒宿で競合が無いせいもあるのでしょうか、、、。

ベットと、少しの畳の部屋で施設も綺麗。口コミをみていたのですが思っていたよりくつろげます。 直ぐ近くに津軽海峡冬景色の石碑があり、ボタンを押すと大音量で2番のごらんあれは、龍飛岬北のはずれの〜♪と流れます。何回も流れておりその度に一緒に歌いました。 お風呂景色よくって、気持ちいいです。露天風呂は、よく入れて2人位なので隙を狙って入って下さいね。

本州最北端の温泉で、津軽海峡を一望できるロビーや部屋、大浴場から北海道まで目の前に見ることができる。夕食の新鮮な魚介類は新鮮で脂の乗り、身の締まりとも良い。部屋は和室10畳。設備は整っている。従業員は若手とベテランのあばちゃんの組合せだが、気が回らない・説明不足など、ややサービスの質は低い感じを受けた。龍飛岬、灯台、国道階段なども近い。朝食はおかづ箱と主食バイキングの組合せ。ほどよい量と数である。

ホテル規模からすると風呂場が小さい。特に露天風呂が小さい。泉質は
ホテルは岬に立っているが、ホテルからは夕日は見えない。朝日は部屋の窓から見えるが、正面ではなく端になるがよく見えます。

トリプルルームの和洋室広く窓からは北海道の島影が見えました。お風呂も北海道側に向いています。絶景の景色です。夕食時の刺身舟盛にビックリしました。３人分と思ったら1人分でした。とても美味しくてぺろりと食べれました。
