The hotel is quite old, and the decor, towels, and facilities are all dated. However, the front desk service was decent. I wasn't happy that each room only gets 4 complimentary bottles of water, with subsequent bottles costing 5 yuan each. Even budget hotels like Hanting and Home Inn offer unlimited free bottled water. Considering Huanglong's high altitude, it's essential to stay hydrated. The hotel's proximity to the scenic area is a major plus; the cable car entrance is right outside. Plus, there are green buses that bring you back from the scenic area directly to the cable car entrance, which is very convenient. For dining, there's a village about 3 kilometers away by car where you can find yak hotpot.

Hands down the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't even give it one star. Traveling with elderly parents and a child, I wanted a decent hotel close to the scenic area and booked the Little Yellow Duck Family Suite, only to find out how run-down it was. The bathroom drain was blocked, causing water to flood into the room. The carpet was so dirty I was afraid to step on it, and the towels were yellowed from dirt. Staff wore coats while working and told me the room's air conditioning only had a ventilation function. The coffee at breakfast was instant powder, and the milk was made from sweet powdered milk. How dare they claim to be a five-star hotel? I hope this hotel goes out of business soon. Travelers, steer clear, avoid booking, avoid booking, avoid booking!!!

If you're staying in Huanglong and want to be close to the scenic area and the bus station, this is your top choice. The hotel is quite grand, but the facilities are a bit dated. The bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub. The window screen in my room was broken, so a huge moth flew in at night. Since it's June, there's no central heating, and thus no air conditioning, but the front desk brought a space heater to the room. On the day I checked in, the front desk informed me there might be a power outage in the early morning. Luckily, it didn't happen; otherwise, navigating a pitch-dark hotel in the middle of the night would have been quite an adventure! The breakfast was decent: rice noodles, fried eggs, bread, side dishes, congee, and steamed buns. I also had dinner at the hotel; the slightly higher price is understandable, and the food was pretty good.

The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but its proximity to the Huanglong cable car entrance is a huge plus. The Huanglong Tourist Center entrance and the cable car entrance are quite far apart. If a visitor arrives at the Tourist Center first and wants to take the cable car, they'd have to take a shuttle bus to the cable car station. Staying at the Serzha International Hotel bypasses the need for the shuttle and the waiting time. The hotel is situated at an altitude of about 3000 meters and offers complimentary oxygen bags. Dinner is available at the hotel restaurant, and both the price and taste are quite reasonable. The hotel staff are very kind and enthusiastic. Booking the hotel also included two complimentary Huanglong Scenic Area sightseeing bus tickets, valued at 40 RMB. The orchids in the hotel lobby were stunning, and I later saw similar ones within the Huanglong Scenic Area itself.

This is an older five-star hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, they have everything you need and are very clean. Every staff member is attentive and enthusiastic. The restaurant food is delicious, and the prices are even better value for money than in places like Chuanzhusi. The location is right across from the cable car entrance, which is super convenient for being among the first to go up the mountain. The sightseeing shuttle is definitely necessary, and the hotel will help guests book tickets based on their sightseeing plans – then you just scan your ID.

This hotel is super close to the cable car, and they even threw in complimentary electric shuttle tickets for the scenic area, which was a fantastic deal. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and polite, always ready to help with any questions. I really loved this hotel and will definitely choose it again in the future.

This hotel is a bit old, but it's probably the best one near Huanglong Scenic Area. Of course, it can't compare to hotels near Jiuzhaigou. Huanglong is definitely worth a visit; its style is very different from Jiuzhaigou. The hotel is located at the foot of Huanglong Mountain, at an altitude of 3000 meters. The hotel thoughtfully provided medical oxygen bags, and the young ladies at the front desk were very enthusiastic and offered excellent service. The hotel even provided complimentary round-trip shuttle service to the scenic area, which was a very nice touch. However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about: the breakfast wasn't good, probably due to the high altitude – it was too simple. The old TV in the room could definitely be updated. Also, the hotel still charges a 200 RMB deposit. Nowadays, most online hotel bookings don't require a deposit, except perhaps some five-star hotels with minibars. Given that there are no chargeable items in the room here, charging a deposit feels completely unnecessary. I hope the hotel considers changing this outdated policy.
