Premier Inn Solihull South (M42)

Very warm welcome and everything as it should be. Swift service both at the hotel and Beefeater next door. Good location for motorway but it’s not in Solihull- it’s in Shirley which is a distance from Solihull itself. No problem to us though.

I have spent the night here before because it is convenient for my office. I arrived late after a long drive. The car park was full. I think it is too small for the number of beds and this was an issue the previous time I visited. There was some confusion about my room when I arrived at 2300. It had been given to an another guest and the receptionist seemed incapable of sorting the issue out without telephoning his manager who was asleep at home. It was frustrating late at night. The bedroom was clean, modern and comfortable. I will stay here again.

The lady on reception at check in was lovely explained everything needed for the stay. Special mention to John lovely man and is a credit to the hotel. Thank you for the sweets :-) We stayed in room 29 We will definitely use this hotel again soon

The standout of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the receptionist, John. He greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm, quickly checking us in and ensuring we had all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. John's friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile truly made a difference in our overall experience.

Good hotel in a quiet location, with lovely helpful staff. Comfy bed, clean ensuite room with good provision, tv kettle, tea/coffee, hairdryer air con. Beefeater restaurant adjacent to carpark serving a good variety of evening meals and breakfast.

I booked 2 family rooms in 1 booking 2 months prior to visiting for 2 adults and my 4 children. Arrived at the hotel and 1 of the receptionist was just looking right through me. We was given our rooms which was number 5 and 25. They had split us family of 6 up. I asked if we could have rooms next to each other and she stated they was fully booked even though i booked 2 months ago. Shocking service would never use premier inn again.

Stayed here last night for one night after a day at the NEC. A lovely stay, very clean and a friendly team at check in and in the restaurant. Although very busy in the restaurant for evening meal the service was very good. Waitresses were really lovely. Think one waitress was called Alison, can’t remember the other names 😞. Breakfast was good too. Breakfast ordered and freshly cooked and an excellent choice of everything else.

After a hectic day at the nec, nothing better than a smooth check in, with a very friendly receptionist, rooms were spacious and clean, and the most amazing comfy bed. Had a lovely hot bath, as we miss this at home with only having a shower. We opted for the meal deal and to say the restaurant was very busy everything was smooth and the food was nice. Fantastic night sleep very comfortable and quiet room . Big hearty breakfast then we will be on our way. Thankyou premier inn for a very comfortable stay
