Another great stay at this hotel. Yes, it is predominantly German but there are English and Spanish people too, just depends on % when you go there. Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping kept our room clean and tidy, if we wanted clean towels or fresh bed linen, there is a card left telling you how to request this. Very comfortable bed and large balcony with reclining chairs and foot stools. The bar staff work hard both at lunchtime and evening, on arrival we were advised there was a slight problem with staff absence and had to wait a little longer for a drink in the evening but they were doing their best to serve everyone. The hotel is in a good location and there are plenty of shops nearby if you fancy doing some shopping, both souvenirs and clothing stores. There are a couple of supermarkets if you run out sun cream. You can hire sun beds and umbrellas on the beach and beach bars if you are not wanting to go back to the hotel for lunch. We always stay AI as it gives free entrance into the spa and if you are staying longer than 10 days on this basis there is a free airport transfer which is greatly appreciated. We never had a problem with the food in the evening, salad bar and always 2 options for meat or fish, with a choice of of vegetables and potatoes and pasta dishes. If you have a sweet tooth, small dessert cakes and ice cream and a cheese selection if you have room! We enjoyed the entertainment and as previously mentioned it finishes at 11pm with the bar closing at midnight. It was lovely to see the Manager again who plays the saxophone - couldn’t believe it when he and the band played for 2 hours solid, great music. It was lovely to see some familiar faces (Ruth/Veronica/Manuel/Susi/Fefe) and to meet some new ones (Ayoub/Arontxa/Amhara/Lena/Jose Daniel) Apologies if I’ve missed anyone! Looking forward to returning next year.
