Sokcho Chonpines Beach Hotel Reviews

We arrived early at the hotel and we were hoping to be able to leave our luggage in a luggage room . When we got there , there was no staff on the Reception desk as the hotel operates a non face to face check in . This is fine but we do not speak or read Korean and we were unsure what we had to do . Eventually after two hours we managed to check in using Kakeo talk . Very frustrating to have wasted that time . It was also confusing because our room was not actually in the hotel but next door in the hotel across the road . The room it self was brilliant . Very clean and spacious Lovely bathroom with enclosed shower . Tv , fridge and washing machine . The hotel was across the road from the beach so that was brilliant . It seemed a long way from the main part of the beach and any restaurants where we could eat ..

Good location at Sokcho beach road. Just 5-10 min walk from Express bus terminal. There is 7-eleven store nearby. Front desk is on GF at Building B. Quite hard to find as there is no Eng signage We booked triple room, but found that room was quite small for three people. Not much space for 2-3 large luggages. Overall stay was very nice. Room was clean and well-equipped. Wifi, Netflix and Youtube were also strong connection

I would love to be in the hotel, this is not my first time staying in the hotel. I have been staying at the hotel several times. I love it. But one thing I want to say is.., The front desk people are not friendly at all. No greeting, no manners, stone face etc, I think they have a long way to go to accomplish their goals for service improvements. But I still like the hotel, not the people.

Easy access to the beach and food. Walking distance to the express bus terminal. Clean place.

Location is great. Walk across to the beach! But not really a hotel, more like an officetel.

Good hotel but information here wrong

There is no one at the reception upon arrival. You can check in independently only through cocoa current. Which there was no information about on the booking page. There is no internet in the lobby. There is a reception in the next building, but they will not help) this is a different service company. It was with great grief that we managed to contact the registration office by mail and receive passwords for check-in. They gave us rooms in the next building, but they didn’t tell us about that either. One of the 5 rooms was not cleaned; there was someone else's garbage and dirty linen lying around there. They had already stopped answering emails, but by that time there was a person at the registration desk and we were given a replacement number. The air conditioning in one of the rooms did not work, I had to sleep with the windows open and the sham from the street. Accordingly, you will not receive a second blanket in the room if you wish. This is a nightmare, not a service!

I'm doing a hotel tour these days. It was a place I chose on the way back after leaving. I have helped at a nearby hotel. The facilities are similar and it's probably because it's an old hotel. There are some parts that are damaged, but overall it is good. The price is okay too Maybe it’s because it’s not peak season yet. It was quiet From the morning, I heard the sound of children running down the hallway. I woke up but slept well. The shampoo provided is not good. I think it would be a good idea to bring it. The beach is close across the street I arrived at night and stopped by and it was nice. It's nice that it's close to convenience stores, etc. There was also a coffee shop. Just one thing! I entered the hotel and went straight to the bathroom. Toilet bowl is not cleaned Dirty on the toilet seat Look at what's buried I was surprised. I think this is the part you need to pay the most attention to. It's really obvious that you did a sloppy cleaning. Please pay a little more attention to cleanliness I think it would be better

The location is just super, left the hotel, immediately to the beach. Of the minuses: there were no slippers and toothbrushes

First of all, I liked it because it was so close to the sea. It was facing the building across from me, so curtains were a must, but I was able to play comfortably because it was close to the sea. There was always a parking spot :)

The location is the best :) It was nice that the beach was right across the street and there was a convenience store mart right nearby:) There was an individual washing machine, so rinsing a swimsuit after bathing was so convenient~! The unfortunate thing is that there is induction, but cooking is not possible and the water pressure is weak; It would be nice if you pay a little more attention to cleanliness :)

Advantages 1. Recommended for the price. Overall, it is good. 2. Room conditions may vary slightly, but my room is clean. 3. The bedding is comfortable, but the bed is not my style. 4. Easy access as it is right in front of Sokcho Beach 5. So it is convenient to use nearby shopping malls as well. disadvantage 1. Since it is an unmanned check-in, you must receive mechanical service that cannot be avoided. 2. Not having a microwave is more inconvenient than I thought. 3. It has been a long time since regulations on disposable products were lifted for amenities, but they only provide empty boxes, saying they are not available due to regulations. 4. You cannot leave your luggage in advance and must wait for the exact check-in time. 5. The most serious thing is that the rotten bank smell coming from the bathroom sink drain or sewer made a show that they would get rid of the aftereffects of leaving the bathroom door open while going out. There isn't even an exhaust fan in the bathroom. I wondered if I should call them, but they had no choice anyway, so I decided to write a review. You think it'll be okay if I just endure it?
