Fantastic location for visiting Seoraksan. There is a bus stop just 100m away from the hotel that takes you up to entrance. The owner is very friendly, on our send day he even gave us free entrance tickets for the national park!
Do not expect many food options in this area. There is a cafe and a kbbq restaurant which is owned by the same people as the hotel and a very well stocked 7/11

Old but well maintained and clean
Climbing Seorak Daecheongbong and resting your tired body in a quiet place
I have a good rest
It was nice to walk around Shinheungsa Temple in the early morning.
