Very basic. But nice and cheap. Enough for one night stay on long journey. Rooms are very clean. Railway very close, you can hear it, but i think there’s no trains after 11pm. Car park is paid €2 for 24h which is not bad. Close to the city center. In general, my big yes. I think this will be my spot for stay, and I stay in Soest twice a year.

We booked this room primarily due to the price. We found the room to be equal to many other rooms on this trip that cost much more. It was quiet, clean, spacious and the mattress was firm.

I did not had contact to personel. The CityMotel does not offer breakfast, therefor selection was not present.

People chatting outside until 1am. Rowdy guests. Loud tv until 1am. No sleep. People leaving at 2.25 am woke us up. Cobwebs under the shelf by the window and spiders. Cobwebs under the radiator. Thick dust on top of the wardrobe. Lumpy pillows. Singing till 11.04 pm. Squealing. Never again.

Easy check-in via machine. No check-out required, just drop the card in the mailbox. Room number 6 is located towards the parking lot, cars drive back and forth more often and you can also hear them. Next time we'll try to get a room facing the courtyard.
