The room can see the waterfall, the hotel is good or the restaurant is the best choice for the attraction. The room was simple, but the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was simple, the yogurt tasted good, the bed could not be added, and the family bed was a little crowded. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. The restaurant’s lamb chops taste very good, the local beer is bitter, but it’s great to watch the waterfall.

We stayed here as the mid-point stop on our way to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. It is true that because it’s one of the larger hotels in the area, it is used by large tour groups, but that did not interfere with our stay at all. It is a roadside hotel, don’t expect any luxuries, but perfect for a one or two night stay. The rooms are very spacious and clean (because it’s a busy hotel, your room may not be ready before check-in time). The restaurant is large and they were able to accommodate us with no problem for dinner, and their breakfast buffet (included in the rate) is fantastic. It also has a great view. The location is great, close to Dyrholaey, Vik and Reynsfjara (black sand beach). Pro-tip: if you have dirty laundry, they will do it for you for about $25 per bag regardless of the size. I thought it was expensive so didn’t do it, and regretted it - everywhere else was either more expensive or didn’t offer the service at all. The staff works so hard - I saw the same person cleaning my room helping out at the restaurant, and everyone was very pleasant.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The decor is Scandanavian Modern, very clean and neat. Rooms, lobby and restaurant were all clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food at the restaurant for dinner was excellent as was the service. Being right at the base of the waterfall made for a nice stroll after dinner. We had none if the problems previous reviewers complained about. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Iceland.

Everything is good, the room is large and bright, the kitchen has everything you need, the foyer area is used as a transitional space for you to change shoes and store coats, and at the same time separates the bathroom and bedroom areas, a good spatial functional design. The only pity is the weather when we checked in...

Was very pleasantly surprised by this place. The stay was reasonably priced, the rooms were spacious and modern and the bathroom was huge. The only thing I can complain about is that there was no ventilation, so it quickly became humid and bad air unless you opened the window. (Which I prefer not to do when it's minus degrees). Beyond this, everything was absolutely great. The breakfast was small and cozy, and contained the essentials as well as waffles which were yummy. The staff was also very nice.

This wonderful inn and restaurant was our home base for 2 days while touring around the South Coast of Iceland. We stayed in one of the apartments, which are in a detached building across the parking lot from the main house/restaurant. The apartment had everything we needed inside and was clean and comfortable. The outside/setting is like being in a fairy tale- surrounded by mountain, small church up the street, horses and sheep roaming behind a fence nearby. As we relaxed in the wonderfully hot spa outside of the apartments, all we could hear were the birds and the bleating of the nearby sheep. It was the perfect way to relax after a day of hiking at the nearby waterfalls. Both Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls are very nearby and the town of Vik and the black sand beaches are about an hour's drive away. The main house is old fashioned and charming. There is the history of Anna of Moldnupi throughout the house, which is fascinating, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We added the breakfast with our room and it was well worth it- a wide variety of food. We had dinner in the dining room one of the nights we were there and it was one of the best meals of our trip to Iceland. The chocolate mousse for dessert was amazing!

Tell me in advance that I am honeymoon trip, because the object is easy to be shocked when sleeping, and wants a quiet room. Then it was arranged to a large and oversized suite in the deepest part of the corridor. The hotel is located not far from the main road and is easy to find, the surrounding area is dark enough at night to see the stars. We never saw staff in our 2 night stay but check in was easy as there was a phone available to call the staff. The room is clean but very small, after opening up our luggage there was nowhere to stand. The room can really use a few more hooks on the wall for hanging up coats and outer gear. The bathroom is clean but a bit dim and the water from the shower runs into the rest of the bathroom. There is very little space to put toiletries. There is a pantry upstairs with hot water, tea and hot chocolate. There is also a dining and living area with a pool table, which is nice. During our stay there was a crazy storm and the whole house was shaking from the wind, which was a bit scary. The windows in the room were not air tight so the wind was howling through the gaps. It was a bit loud and cold.

Self-driving Iceland did not do a Raiders map in advance, and booked this hotel. Breakfast is average, the health looks pretty good, but there is hair on the bed, and I don’t know if the sheets are replaced, and the surrounding mines are empty. The most unexpected thing is to take off the shoes at the door, but do not provide disposable slippers. Put a few pairs of dirty slippers at the door and say that you should wear slippers.
