Siteia is a small and not very touristic city on the northeast of Crete. We like it a lot so we decided to stay a night before we continue with our trip. We looked for a hotel near the city but a little bit outside in order to have our peace and find a good place to park. The street is good and you can reach the hotel in 5 minutes with any car or vehicle. There is plenty space to park in front and in the back of the hotel. We were accepted from the owner of the hotel and her mother. Both very nice to us and very helpful and patient with every question we had. We got a room, actually it was an Appartment, at the back. Nice and quiet with enough space for our things. No view but not needed in this case. The decoration is simple but it feels like home. The bed was big and very comfortable. We could finally sleep with open windows as the rollers kept us safe and the room dark. At the windows there is also net for the insects. The bad is new and spacious. The price was very good and the place was quiet all the time we were there. If you want to go to Siteia you can walk for 15-20 minutes or take a taxi for 4 Euro. Of course you can get there with the car as well but check your parking options beforehand. We were very happy with this hotel.
