I had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is clean, spacious, and ideal for long business stays, with a washer, dryer, and fully equipped kitchen. It's conveniently located near MRT and bus stations. The front desk was very helpful, and the housekeeping staff kept everything tidy and comfortable. Special thanks to Ezam Sirin from reservations for arranging a quiet room, which I really appreciated due to my sensitivity to noise. Hope to come back in the future ^^.

Greetings esteemed reviewers, it is with great dismay that I pen this review to share my recent experience at the Conrad Orchard Singapore which was well below expectation. This isn't my first time to stay here. In a previous review, I had bestowed upon the hotel a rating of four stars and had made mention of the General Manager's name, Oscar Postma, as a mild critique of their performance. My stay had been quite wonderful, albeit marred by their proclivity towards complacency in providing minor special requests. However, I found myself the subject of ill-treatment at the hands of the hotel's personnel. Their behavior was nothing short of bullying, as they proceeded to pursue punitive measures against my top-tier membership in their esteemed chain of hotels, ultimately resulting in its suspension. The road to reinstatement was replete with challenges, and I was disconcerted by their unseemly conduct, which seemed to be directed towards punishing me for my candid review. It is my duty to warn other fellow reviewers that these individuals are not to be mistaken for gentlemen of standing and refinement, but rather, they utilize tactics that are more in line with the mindset of a thug, targeting those who dare to voice their concerns. Any potential guest at the Conrad Orchard Singapore should be prepared to navigate such hostility. In summation, I find the behavior of the hotel's personnel to be wholly unacceptable, and I would caution any prospective guests to prepare themselves accordingly. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a warning to all who might consider a stay at this establishment.

Kinda disappointed, 5 star hotel without welcome drink, nobody to carry your luggage to your room and I first didn’t get the room I booked, had to get angry on the phone for 30 minutes to finally get it. The room was good and breakfast too

The hotel itself is consider convenient, there’s a gateway right across the street beside the hotel where it can connect down to Suntec City lower level food court. This trip we brought our one year old with us. During the check in, no one informed us about the music festival (DJ) that had been going on for the past days. The room that was given to us were right on top of the music festival, it was so loud during the afternoon and I was told it’ll continue to 10pm. My son couldn’t take his nap at all! This messed up our whole day schedule, we basically wasted the whole day trying to get a room change. However, thanks to the assistant front desk manager (Ivy) we were able to get a higher floor room away from all the noise (finally got a room change at around 8:30pm), if it’s not for her help I would have given a even less of a rating.
Once again I would like to thanks Ivy for all her help. She was great.

Second visit. Got a complimentary upgrade to club lounge access. Service at the Club Lounge was exquisite with smiles. Thankful for the upgrade but the cuisine was not suited for the palette of the traditiomal elderly. Room was clean and view was fantastic at level 32. The bathtub is always
TV was an issue on the second day that kept restarting and could not be used for the entire second day, even after technical assistance.
Overall still a great experience and would visit again!

The hotel is very new and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I left my ID at the front desk when checking in and the staff only called me after 8am to not disturb me at night. Located at a distance from the MTR station but there are plenty of buses, and it's lovely neighborhood! Would stay here again the next time I'm in Singapore.

Visited on a Saturday and checked out on a Sunday.
Check-in was fairly quick and fast.
The reception was very professional and really nice and helped me check in without a hassle.
I read reviews about Mercure on Trip and was wondering how bad it could be when talking about the room size.
I figured that those customers were not from around Singapore and didn't know how small a hotel room in SG can be.
Voila. I went into the room and was surprised. Everything was clean and the room was big enough in Singapore standards.
M Social was my go-to and I was just wondering to myself that the room I booked in Mercure was much bigger than M Social and cheaper as well.
Having stayed in York Hotel & M-Social most of the time, the money spent in Mercure was actually more worth it.
Room came with shampoo, conditioner & body wash; M Social provided only shampoo and body wash.
I ordered food in through GrabFood and realised I didn't have cutleries. Called the front desk at 1:45am asking for cutleries and received disposable utensils in the span of 5 minutes max. Talk about proficiency.
I'm also a sucker for breakfast but I can't ever wake up in time so I cannot comment yet but I'll definitely book another stay soon so that I can try their breakfast.
The place is very centralised and food is everywhere along the vicinity so there wouldn't be an issue if you're travelling from overseas. There are kopitiams / coffee shops which has cheaper food options as well if you do not want to break your bank but there are cafes and bars around the area as well.
Air-condition was working as expected and hot water in the bathroom was also working well.
There is SEPARATE tap with filtered water for you to refill your bottle so that you do not need to buy bottles and bottles of water which is nice.
Checkout was at 12pm and I received a call at about 11:40am - 11:45am reminding me to check out.
I thought I'd have to wait in queue to check out but I was approached by a staff or maybe the manager (?) and he even asked if we needed to keep our luggages with them first.
I did not have any luggage so I declined the offer and just passed the keycards to him and that was my checkout process.
Miscellanous stuffs I noticed -
The staffs are very good at pre-empting what someone needs when a customer was walking towards the counter and asked where the washroom is and the 'security' pointed the direction of the toilet to him. Having worked in service / hospitality before, this is commendable as not many hotels are like that.
The front desk was also receptive to requests when I wanted to leave a key card with the front desk so my friend can pick up the key card as well.
Mercure in a nutshell is very service forward and professional.
Compared to the other hotels I've stayed in, budget or hotels with stars, I'd definitely recommend Mercure as the top #1.
Will definitely come back again.
Thank you for having me!

Great hotel, had a bus-stop right near the entrance area. Paid around $1.50 to get to Vivocity which is also 15min walking distance. Around the same amount to get to the Gardens by the Bay. Lots of different bus numbers at this stop. There is a train station close by as well but we didnt use this. Overall good experience, like most new hotels the rooms are smaller sized but the bed was firm and comfortable. Water pressure was average. Breakfast was surprisingly good however, it can get busy and some tourists can get a bit pushy. The staff were polite and helpful.

FFrancisco A1) When we checked in, we were told we could enjoy a 20 percent discount from the hotel's restaurants. We ate therefore at Jiang Nan Chun, the Chinese restaurant of the hotel
( total bill S$242), and the next day, at Nobu Japanese restaurant ( total bill- around $402). When we checked out, however, the discount was not given, even if the restaurant's
waiter told us that the discount would be given upon check out from the hotel. ( The total amount spent on the two restaurants was S$645!)
2) The most shocking thing was that the flush of the towel bowl did not work on Sunday, May 26. We used the flush but the water was overflowing and the feces were floating about. So we tried to pour water into the toilet bowl three times by using the waste can of the toilet to fill it full with water to flush the toilet but still to no avail. Finally, we had to ask for help from the hotel staff to solve the problem. The hotel staff later gave us a plate of fruits and a short letter of apology for the inconvenience caused.
Iiveta_rigaExcellent hotel. Service at the highest level, special thanks to manager James. Check-in was done earlier, the room was given with a beautiful view on the high floor. Beds are comfortable, everything is clean, shampoo and conditioner are great. Breakfast is excellent. The metro is very close. Next to the hotel there is a street with cozy cafes and restaurants and a grocery supermarket. The rest is wonderful. I recommend.
SswVery enjoyable stay and the bed was nice. Would particularly like to thank chef nisalaka and our cleaner Joanna, but other staff were good too.
Nice lounge food
GGuest Userthe room was huge for my family. and there is a lot of friendly staff all over the hotel with mini-events for my children to participate in.
the morning breakfast buffet was awsome too! really really great choice and unforgettable feast
there is also this pool side game which my child manage to win a cup of brain freeze ice drink! awsome! although my stay was a short 2days one night. but my family and I had such a wonderful time there. will definaly book again for a long stay the next round.
GGuest UserI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Park Avenue Rochester Hotel during New Year's Eve. The service was excellent, and the staff, including the security personnel on duty on both December 31st and January 1st, were amazing. From the moment I emailed to make a special request until the moment I checked out, everything was handled perfectly. The hotel accommodated our requests, and we were given a room with a fantastic view facing the residences and Star Vista Mall. The pool area was breathtaking, surrounded by beautifully maintained plants that created a relaxing ambiance. The hotel's location is also very convenient, within walking distance of Star Vista Mall and the MRT station. The malls nearby offer a variety of Halal food options, which was a huge plus for me. I received complimentary breakfast for two, but unfortunately, it wasn’t Halal-certified. Perhaps the hotel could consider introducing Halal bento meals in the future to cater to more guests. Just a suggestion! Overall, my experience at Park Avenue Rochester Hotel was outstanding, and I highly recommend it. Perfect service, great location, and a memorable stay! Thank you!
EEmma S.Good hotel with very good location with reasonable price, the hotel is only 1km to Vivo city which is very convenient for me who have a semi nar at Sentosa for 5 days. The bus stop is just right at the front of the hotl, I usually take the bus in the morning as I don't want to sweat and either walk or take a bus to the hotel at the evening. The staff is very helpfull and fiendly.
SSeat 2APerfectly situated amidst countless shopping and dining options in the busiest commercial area of Singapore. Though this is clearly a much older property, it appears to be well maintained and clean. Slept well during my stay and appreciated the rooftop pool and comprehensively equipped gymnasium. For the price paid, this was good value, especially considering how expensive hotels are in Singapore.
RR£ndWent for a short staycation to celebrate Valentine's Day because of its luxurious ambiance, serene surroundings, and impeccable service. The resort's blend of French elegance and tropical charm creates a perfect romantic getaway. We really enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, relaxing spa treatments, and exquisite dining experiences, making each stay a memorable celebration of 25 years of love and drama.
The sumptuous breakfast and variety are sufficient for us to skip lunch.
Sofitel Sentosa has captured our hearts and we will be back.
Cheers.
AAnonymous UserWe had a pleasant stay at V Hotel Lavender. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with a focus on being eco-friendly, as they provided a convenient water filter in the room to reduce plastic waste. Its location is a huge plus—right next to the MRT station and within walking distance of plenty of food stalls. The staff were helpful and accommodating, especially with luggage storage, which was a great convenience. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Singapore.
GGuest UserTerrible Staycay at The Bus Collective! Had a terrible stay at The Bus Collective! Despite the enticing media coverage of this unique bus-themed resort in Changi and my initial enthusiasm to support their sustainability efforts, $500+ one-night stay turned out to be a major disappointment. My child, celebrating his 4th birthday, burst out in tears as he was harshly scolded and threatened by Michael Gan, (from WTS) claimed to be the representative of the resort owner. During a harmless play where my child was pretending to be an 'emcee' on a stage platform, Michael Gan abruptly approached, ordering my child to get down immediately, citing safety concerns and even threatening police involvement, 'the police will come and catch you'. While safety reminders are appreciated, his aggressive tone and stern reprimand were unacceptable. When I sought an explanation, Michael, accompanied by the resort manager, arrogantly defended his actions, a father of 4 children claiming it was a common comment, he finds there is nothing wrong and even suggesting it was my fault for allowing my child on the platform. The overall experience was emotionally jarring, and the resort's management disappointed. Despite the appealing bus-themed interior, it lacked cleanliness, with visible dust and dirt particulary at the interior driving seat area. Fire access way blocked by unauthorised parking at the resort. The exterior posed safety hazards, with rainwater underneath the buses potentially breeding mosquitoes, pebble stones as walkways, and inadequate lighting for night safety. Additionally, the lack of high fencing raised concerns about safety, especially with the presence of intoxicated individuals near the public playground. Considering the price tag, opting for a hotel staycation seems more worthwhile, especially to avoid the subpar customer service experienced at The Bus Collective at Changi. In summary, this resort is not child-friendly, and the customer service was abysmal. I regret my decision and won't consider returning.
