Everything was top-notch. The room was clean, with daily housekeeping, and equipped with water, tea, and coffee. Razors, toothbrushes, and combs were all provided. The beach was spotless and constantly cleaned throughout the day. For me, the location was perfect, right next to the Long Set Pier. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection. I felt the restaurant itself was a bit pricey (plus a 10% service charge), but there are plenty of cafes, shops, tuk-tuks, and excursions nearby. We had a traditional Khmer massage for $20 an hour. Overall impression: Super!

This hotel boasts an excellent beachfront location, just a short walk from the pier. It has a pool and sun loungers right on the beach. The front desk staff are fantastic, always ready to assist with anything. Initially, they couldn't find my booking and they were overbooked, but the hotel manager stepped in and resolved everything perfectly – huge thanks to them for that. The beach is kept clean, and the breakfast is decent for Cambodia. The rooms are quite simple, but they have everything you need. The only downside is the soundproofing, though my neighbors were pretty quiet (as the bungalows are split into two rooms). Also, I wasn't too impressed with the on-site beachfront restaurant, especially since the prices were higher than nearby places.

Honestly, I have zero complaints. The location is perfect, the views are unreal. The rooms aswell are very spacious, perfect for a couple or even a solo backpacker! The food though…oh my god…every chef in the back deserves a massive pay rise RIGHT NOW😂😮💨the food was incredible, very reasonable. But my highlight of the SkyBar were the Tropical Smoothies…I think the workers had enough of me ordering them 4 days in a row for breakfast lunch and dinner 😂 But genuinely this place is amazing! Other than the stairs…those stairs are a killer but it’s good to get some cardio in once in a while 😮💨

What I liked: The excellent, comfortable bed and pillows, pristine white linens and towels. The hotel staff contacted me in advance and helped me book ferry tickets and a car from the pier to the hotel. The hotel restaurant served quite delicious dishes. Breakfast was also very good, despite the limited selection. You can use paddleboards for free at the beach. Snorkeling from the shore was also decent; we saw two cuttlefish. The beach is a dream, with one small caveat. There were always enough sun loungers. What I disliked: The beach was littered with plastic remnants from the sandbags used to reinforce the shoreline. One evening, we ordered a bottle of Prosecco at sunset. The waiter opened it and threw the foil directly onto the sand, shocking us with such disregard for this beautiful place. Another morning, guests at the neighboring table on the beach had Coke brought to them. By lunchtime, no one had come to clear the glasses and cans. By sunset, the same cans were still lying on the sand; the glass cups, however, seemed to have been collected. There were also many disappointments with the room: everything was shoddily done, built in a hurry, the furniture was stained with paint, the rug and hat in the room were torn, and in the huge shower, there wasn't a single hook or towel holder. There's also no shower curtain, so the toilet was always wet. Half of the light switches didn't work, and the switches by the bed were swapped. When you leave the room and take the key card, the light above the entrance also turns off, making it quite an adventure to return in the dark and climb the stairs. There's a refrigerator, but it didn't work, and this was the case in two different rooms. At the entrance to the bungalow and the restaurant, there are hoses to wash sand off your feet, but none of them worked. My husband took one apart and cleaned it, and then it worked. Conclusion: With proper management and care, this place could turn into paradise. Things to be prepared for: In the evenings, there are many mosquitoes or gnats on the beach; they bite hard and itch for a long time. Repellents are essential. Within walking distance, there's only the neighboring cafe and nothing else. This could be both an advantage and a disadvantage for some.

This is a wonderful hotel with its own pier on one of the island's popular beaches, Long Set Beach. For me personally, the highlight of this hotel is its location – it feels like you're in the jungle, with so much greenery. Rare birds visit, monkeys drop by, and of course, there's a beautiful, clean beach with azure water. Despite its secluded feel, it's easy to get to various establishments on the beach (cafes, bars, shops) thanks to a path running along the beach. You can watch the sunsets from the pool. The breakfast is varied, with something for everyone. Overall, the hotel's cuisine is good, and the chefs cook very well. The only downside is that the prices for dishes are a bit higher than in the cafes/restaurants on the beach. The rooms are quite large and clean, with housekeeping available upon request. It’s a lovely beach and this resort has a central location. The staff are very nice. The pool water was brown and we didn’t get to use it. The rooms are on the smaller side. The breakfast was ok. The whole stay was fine and there were no problems but I wouldn’t call it a good value. The full list price for the beachfront room is $200 /night according to the front desk which is a bit crazy.

Hotel “Happy Elephant” is located in a good point near by a pier where a boat brought us from Koh Rong Sanloem island. Hotel is normally for short trips. There are many different cafes, also places for rent bikes or some laundry. Very nice women met us on a reception, she explained about nearby services. Our room was clean but not perfect, there was sand on the floor. Towels were changed every day. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a long period. It is only my opinion. I like: a clean, good services, good location. I didn’t like: the roosters crowded every morning about 5-6 a.m., noisy neighbours, which played on a guitar up to 2-3 a.m. There are not rules about silence after 11-12 p.m. in the hotel. The noise of early cleaning of the hotel, lack of the large mirror. Finally, if you Unpretentious I recommend you this hotel for short time.

The One Resort is highly recommended. Situated only a few steps away from the beach, the most helpful and friendly staff, spacious rooms and a fantastic swimming pool. The host (Dimitri) was top notch, helpful, hospitable and so friendly. We would definitely return and with the recent construction it could only get better. Thank you to The One Resort team!

What a beautiful location! Peaceful, quiet beach away from the main backpacker areas. The room was simple, bed was comfortable and the outside shower was refreshing. The beach bar/ restaurant had a good menu selection and the included breakfast menu was extensive. Happy hour 5-7 was a good deal. We will be back!

This hotel is simply a dream! The service, coziness, beach, comfort, and staff attitude – absolutely everything was 100% perfect. I fell in love with this hotel within the first few days! This hotel is for those who are tired of society! It's completely removed from the island's bustling life; there are no shops or markets here, only a restaurant, cafe, and bar. The service everywhere is excellent! The staff are very dedicated, polite, and cultured! Not all of them speak English, but they try very hard! Even environmentalism is important to them, and the hotel is constantly involved in initiatives. Conclusion: If you're tired of society, if you want nature, solitude, tranquility, romance, wonderful scenery, and peacocks every day at breakfast and near your bungalow – this is the place for you! If you want parties, loud music, shopping, or the ability to go outside the hotel and so on, then no, this isn't it! The hotel is like a wild island, situated on its own cape, in its own bay, and you can only get here by the hotel's boat, just like in the Maldives! So, when planning a vacation here, also plan your budget for meals only at the hotel, the bar (if you drink), and all the essentials you need for your vacation, as you won't be able to buy anything here. Or you can take a boat to the mainland, which is $30 per person and half a day's time! Greetings to all sociophobes, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, speaking as a guest who has stayed here for a month!!!
