This hotel was okay but not great value for the price we paid. We ended up shortening the time here and spending another night at a near by hostel - think this shows the level of quality. The location is amazing but as is every beach front hotel/hostel on the *****. The pool here is nice but sun loungers could use an update as are quite dirty. The room is okay and has aircon, door didn’t fully shut so the curtains covering the door is covered with mosquitos trying to get in. We had to spray the gap in the door regularly with spray to keep them out. The shower was mid warm but low pressure and hung on the wall and had to hold in hand to keep up. The service at the front desk was fine but to the lowest standard we’ve had travelling. There was no added niceties or politeness. Check in took a while (20 mins) while there was no comment on why it was taking so long. Our room wasn’t even ready in this time period so we weren’t waiting for the room. Breakfast wasn’t great and they could really do with more staff. The poor waitress was run off her feet trying to clear plates, stock food and drinks back up but there was always big gaps. People were sitting at dirty tables with no cutlery just to sit down and start eating. Not the waitresses fault as she was working very hard just needed 3/4 more people. The privacy is nice but the amenities are worse than the hostels near by.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Long Set Beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water, soft white sand, and a very peaceful atmosphere. The resort itself is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly located right on the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. Service was excellent throughout the stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The facilities were great, and the overall vibe of the place made it very easy to unwind and enjoy Koh Rong. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for a calm, beautiful beach getaway. Highly recommended — I would definitely come back!

Apsara Resort Koh Rong is perfect for those who love a quiet, romantic escape. The atmosphere is very peaceful, especially at night, making it ideal for couples or anyone looking to truly unwind. However, if you’re after a more vibrant nightlife or lively evening vibe, I’d recommend staying at a resort located on Long Set Beach instead. The rooms at Apsara Resort are super clean and luxurious, and the quality clearly matches the higher price — you really do pay for what you get.

The standard double room was very large, bright, and clean. It's a shame there were no privacy screens on the many windows (so we often had to keep the blackout curtains closed) and no TV or refrigerator. The bed was too firm with only one pillow per person. The bathroom was spacious, with a toilet and bidet, but there was a problem with the shower itself (the selector was reversed and the drain kept clogging without removing the cover). The air conditioning worked, and the room was generally quiet. The staff was friendly. Scooter rental was convenient and available directly on-site ($10/day with no deposit), and there's a free shuttle during the day. The reception can be contacted via WhatsApp/Telegram, but their responsiveness could be improved. The Wi-Fi was useful as there was very little cell service. Housekeeping was available upon request. The location is well-situated for peace and quiet: Coconut Beach is within walking distance, Long Set Beach (more lively) is a 10-minute scooter ride away, and Khao Touch Beach is about 15 minutes away. The access road is a bit rocky but manageable. In summary, we had a pleasant stay in a quiet setting, with a few areas for improvement in terms of comfort and communication.

I stayed here with my friend, we both liked the resort very much. The best part was definitely the beach access, only a few minutes walk and the water was beautiful. Everything was clean and worked fine. Air conditioning was strong which was great after coming back from the hot weather outside. Staff were kind and check-in was fast. At night the resort felt very peaceful and safe. Good place if you just want to relax and enjoy the beach without too much noise.

What I liked: The excellent, comfortable bed and pillows, pristine white linens and towels. The hotel staff contacted me in advance and helped me book ferry tickets and a car from the pier to the hotel. The hotel restaurant served quite delicious dishes. Breakfast was also very good, despite the limited selection. You can use paddleboards for free at the beach. Snorkeling from the shore was also decent; we saw two cuttlefish. The beach is a dream, with one small caveat. There were always enough sun loungers. What I disliked: The beach was littered with plastic remnants from the sandbags used to reinforce the shoreline. One evening, we ordered a bottle of Prosecco at sunset. The waiter opened it and threw the foil directly onto the sand, shocking us with such disregard for this beautiful place. Another morning, guests at the neighboring table on the beach had Coke brought to them. By lunchtime, no one had come to clear the glasses and cans. By sunset, the same cans were still lying on the sand; the glass cups, however, seemed to have been collected. There were also many disappointments with the room: everything was shoddily done, built in a hurry, the furniture was stained with paint, the rug and hat in the room were torn, and in the huge shower, there wasn't a single hook or towel holder. There's also no shower curtain, so the toilet was always wet. Half of the light switches didn't work, and the switches by the bed were swapped. When you leave the room and take the key card, the light above the entrance also turns off, making it quite an adventure to return in the dark and climb the stairs. There's a refrigerator, but it didn't work, and this was the case in two different rooms. At the entrance to the bungalow and the restaurant, there are hoses to wash sand off your feet, but none of them worked. My husband took one apart and cleaned it, and then it worked. Conclusion: With proper management and care, this place could turn into paradise. Things to be prepared for: In the evenings, there are many mosquitoes or gnats on the beach; they bite hard and itch for a long time. Repellents are essential. Within walking distance, there's only the neighboring cafe and nothing else. This could be both an advantage and a disadvantage for some.

The environment is very nice. You can disembark at the Long Beach Pier and have the hotel provide a shuttle to the hotel, or you can take the hotel's dedicated boat directly from the West Port Pier. The beach on the Long Beach side is busier, but the hotel's exclusive beach is quieter and cleaner. It's very nice.

This is a wonderful hotel with its own pier on one of the island's popular beaches, Long Set Beach. For me personally, the highlight of this hotel is its location – it feels like you're in the jungle, with so much greenery. Rare birds visit, monkeys drop by, and of course, there's a beautiful, clean beach with azure water. Despite its secluded feel, it's easy to get to various establishments on the beach (cafes, bars, shops) thanks to a path running along the beach. You can watch the sunsets from the pool. The breakfast is varied, with something for everyone. Overall, the hotel's cuisine is good, and the chefs cook very well. The only downside is that the prices for dishes are a bit higher than in the cafes/restaurants on the beach. The rooms are quite large and clean, with housekeeping available upon request. The hotel staff are very friendly and ready to help with any issues. Thank you for a wonderful vacation, and best wishes for your prosperity 🙏🏼

AAnonymous UserAnaya Koh Rong is situated on the island's most beautiful beach, offering breathtaking views, especially from the deluxe bungalows in the front row. However, the resort's food and drink prices are significantly higher than comparable standards in Cambodia, making the value for money questionable, except for its location. The pool was a bit murky, so we preferred the crystal-clear sea. Renting a scooter for 15 Dollars was a highlight, providing an affordable way to explore the island. Additionally, the transfer to the island and a tour to explore the bioluminescent plankton was well-organized, adding to the convenience of our stay. Despite the high prices, the location and the ease of getting there make it a noteworthy option for travelers.

LLetitia TravelsOh my hat! It was everything and more than what I expected! The pictures really doesn't do it any justice. I woke up every morning at 6:30 to see the most beautiful sunrise! (You also have an option to join a Yoga group). After sunrise you can have an early breakfast right on the beach with a yummy fruitshake (smoothie). And then... You chill, absorb the beauty of the palm tree beach and catch up on your well needed tan. You also have an option to go on a sunset boat trip, where they take you to coral Island for a lovely snorkeling experience. After that we did some hand-fishing, and whatever we caught they BBQ'd for us straight on the grill while watching the sunset in the background! An absolutely lovely experience! The owner of the place were super nice, making sure that you are happy in every way. The staff were quirky and polite, what more can I say... Definitely a stay to remember and even to go back to!

GGuest UserEverything was great – clean dorm, clean shower, and good Wi-Fi. It's a 30-minute walk to the port, or 4 minutes by scooter. Renting a scooter is essential for exploring the island.

HHumphrey JrThe hotel was definitely worth its price. I really liked the location because it’s very close to the pier, although it can be very noisy during night time. It’s pretty hot during the night so even though the room doesn’t have an AC at least it has a fan. The smell from the bathroom was pretty bad and it kept me up at night, I hope they can work on that. But overall the stay was okay, the staff were friendly and welcoming

GGuest UserI stayed for 2 weeks at Nest Beach Club. The breakfast is good especially the pancakes! Very affordable menu. Dorms were clean and the cleaners done a great job cleaning the communal area every morning. The beds in the dorms were spacious and had a curtain for privacy. Also stayed in a private room which was a great upgrade from the dorms ( 5G WiFi connection, hot water and spacious). Shout out to the following Nest Club Reps: Reggie, Sandy and Jack. They were very helpful and talkative. They made an effort to communicate with us and to get us involved in the hostel events. The other reps did not bother getting us involved. Nestival is worth the travel! Great fun and opportunity to meet new people!

IIlya KleinThe proximity to the stunning beach is the thing of this hotel. Orher then that, it is basic and worn. Dont expect luxury service, varied breakfasts, new furniture, not stained or not torn sheets , super clean beach. Enjoy the beach, relax, dont push or demand something, take it as it is, and you will be cool :)
