Hotel Somadevi Angkor Boutique and Resort Reviews

Good location, staff, restaurants, pool, drinks/happy hour. We stayed in room 202, located at street frontage with no noise suppression., very loud. Bed was very hard, not very pleasant to sleep on. Air conditioner turned off randomly during the night on the first night, seemed ok on second night. When running it worked well. Very limited TV channels. Staff were very warm and friendly and more than made up for the minor issues we experienced. Unlikely that this is a 5 star hotel, maybe high 3’s or low 4.

Four of us stayed two nights. The hotel is adequate with all the amenities you need. But this is not a 5-star hotel. The rooms are average and the beds/pillows were like sleeping on concrete. The front desk staff was friendly but had limited English. The pool and spa were very nice. We had no issues with our stay but would look to stay someplace else if we returned.

Amazing hotel in a nice location. The staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and the pool is amazing 👌 It is located within walking distance of pub street and other attractions, and not too far from Angkor Wat and the other temples.

The shower leaks all over floor, door does not shut fully, the a/c vent is filthy, so was closet. The floors were nice and clean. The bed is like sleeping in a box spring, super rock hard. Horrible .. can't get a good night sleep. Pool nice, No a/c for bar area.

Quiet hotel with luxury feel. Modern decor and amazing pool. Guests are invited to enjoy the pool without making too much noise, which is great, so you can truly relax. Stayed 3 nights with family (2 rooms next to each other). Hotel staff all courteous, happy and most helpful. We felt welcomed. Hotel spa was great value. Happy hour at the pool and also in the lobby lounge/bar, delicious cocktails! Enough variety at breakfast. Hotel suitable for family with older kids ＞8 years, but ok if you have well behaved younger kids. Close enough to walk to pub street (10-12 mins) and to restaurants (5 mins) along the river. Had laundry done around the corner, washed dried and folded all done in an hour at a very cheap price. Hotel staff helped organise to see Phare, the Cambodia circus - a must see. Everyone loved it! Walking distance to The King’s palace, and National museum: a fantastic place to visit help understand the history of the temples.

This place is amazing. The staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. The pool is awesome, the rooms are spacious, the bathtub is huge. The breakfast has lots of choices and a fresh egg station. My husband loved the coffee. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel, surrounded by plants and koi carp streams. The pool was lovely and the breakfast delicious. But best of all were the wonderful staff - so friendly and helpful. I am especially grateful for the surprise birthday cake. Thank you for a special stay.

Location is excellent, just 5 mins walk from Pub Street. Service and the room is good for the price as well.

The room is very clean and nice, good foods and drinks. Staffs are helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful time here. Extremely recommend this hotel. The swimming pool is on the first floor, you can relax with a bottle of beer on the side chair.

Great location, close to the markets and pub street (7 minute walk) but on a quiet street. Spacious rooms, very clean and well maintained. Nice pool area and a good buffet style breakfast. Staff were amazing - friendly and went out of their way to help with any request we had. Would recommend

The room was spacious and the staff were kind. I chose a plan that included breakfast, and it was fun to have a buffet of Asian food, Japanese food (sushi, etc.), Western food (bread, omelets, sausage, etc.) from various countries, and I'm not a fan of Thai food. I ate a lot of food and was satisfied with my full stomach. After staying for 2 nights, I asked if they could store my luggage for 2 days as I was going on a trip to a different country, and they replied with a smile that there was no problem. Although it was past the time to pick up my baggage, they accepted me with a smile and did not have any negative attitude. It was a very nice hotel. I would like to come here again when I go to Thailand.

The Room is clean and in good condition. Personal is friendly and helpfull. Food and Cocktails are delicious. Breakfastbuffet is also delicious with a suffient selection. Location is perfect. When i'm going to Siem Reap again, i will definitely book this hotel a second time.
