Location is about half way up the Ikaho Stairs, only a 3-minute walk. The Onsen was quite large, with an outdoor bath overlooking the area. The waters are clear but when they touch oxygen they turn a golden color, rich in iron with those health properties. There is also another outdoor bath, and one large indoor-bath with hot springs water flowing down the rocks. Very calming. Men and women alternate sides at midnight so don't miss one of the baths. We had a really nice room on the 8th Floor with Western-style beds, very large entry way, a Tatami room with a splendid view of the Akakgi Renzan mountains. The Biggest surprize: the room had a complete cha****su- Japanese room for serving tea, complete with its own tokonoma, water server in the tatami, and an entrance that is only a meter high (sit on your knees and slide through). If you request it, they could arrange a little ceremony for you! Pick up some of their Daruma senbei cookies for a great present. To be honest, the outside is pretty shabby, when we drove up I said, ”What have I gotten us into?” Inside is very clean and new for a hotel built in 1868!

Not only the hotel, but the entire Ikaho service staff are mainly Japanese seniors. There is a built-in izakaya inside the hotel. There may be few people when I go there. Only my friend and I had dinner that night. I thought it was closed. When we saw we were about to eat, everyone opened the door for the two of us and managed it. The grandfather of the izakaya was very, very enthusiastic. Obviously we only ordered two bowls of ramen😂 They just sent two glasses of orange juice, two bowls of rice, and the sauce they made. They said they were delicious and must be tried. Taste it. Finally, when we left, we gave us two more glasses of wine for us to take back to our room and drink slowly 😂 The hotel also has a bathing area, and there are really very few people, which is equivalent to booking a place with my friends. The overall experience is still very good, I hope this store will get better and better🤣

I booked it with a coupon of groupon because it was vacant on August 15 of the year of the reiwa era. I think I was able to stay quite cheaply because it was excluded until August 14. I went to see the word of mouth on this site, so I was prepared for color 々, but it was better in terms of color 々 than I thought. First of all, the staff was good. There was no one who was blunt. When I stayed in the car, I was taken to another place, including other cars, but I came back when I checked out. It was a feeling that there was a year in the room, including the room, but if there is something in the letter of the room, please don't hesitate to offer it. There was no other inconvenience. The bath was large and there was a sauna, and I was sitting there all the time because there was a hot water. The dishes were more delicious than I imagined. I think it is because the humidity is high because the room and the floor of the bath are a little dangerous or the wallpaper is peeled off in the mountains. I arrived a little before 3 o'clock, but when I checked in, the front desk was alone, so I think I was waiting quite a bit if I was 10 minutes late.

A long-established hot spring inn near the stone steps of Ikaho Onsen. It has a reputation for warm hospitality. The characteristic is that there are two entrances, and you can enter from the stone steps side as well as the usual entrance. In many inns, there are many movements in the building with slippers, but since the whole building is tatami mats, you can walk barefoot in the building. The food was delicious and the amount was appropriate. The bathhouse was also large enough to relax. On the other hand, although it is a family saying because it is a good inn, there were some staff who were still developing in their behavior. I would like to expect that I will grow up as a good staff with good teaching from my predecessors. There was also a machine in the room for massage of my feet. I think the massage machine after the bath is cleaned frequently, but I was a little worried about the sanitary condition of the machine in the room. Because it is a thankful consideration, I think that it was able to use it more comfortably if there was a display such as ”cleaned”.
