Hotels with Breakfast in Shepparton

We stayed here 1 night in July. We were greeted by a very welcoming lady who advised us that we had an upgrade, which was very much appreciated. The room was fantastic. It was clean, well kept, all facilities worked and the attention to detail was commendable. It had a beautiful view of the lake and the rooms were very quiet. The bed was comfortable and a choice of pillows. We had off street parking and it was well lit. Great service and wonderful professional attitude. Great job.

The girl on the front desk is about as cold as our breakfast was. Was greeted with barely a look & hello, took my $420 for the night and handed me the key. Was told there is parking ‘over through there’ and walk through the glass doors, that was as far as the instructions went. We were out at 4.30 so I called to ask what time breakfast needed to be ordered by, I was told it needed to be in by 4.45, I was nowhere near the hotel so I asked if she could lodge the order for me, she declined and reluctantly told me I could pop it under the door at reception. Breakfast came, cold, and with onion in the breakfast roll which was not on the breakfast order sheet, my request for bacon was also ignored. When the call came through to process my card for breakfast, after paying I gave the feedback that breakfast was cold and that the breakfast burger had onion on it which we can’t eat, I was told that if I scanned the QR code in the room I would have seen that it has onion on it, really unhelpful unless the breakfast slip actually tells you to scan the QR code in the room to get a detailed description of the egg and bacon burger to see if it has anything other than bacon and egg on it. And would actually be more helpful if you could scan a QR code and order breakfast through that instead of having to walk all the way to reception to drop off a piece of paper to order food in 2023. Other than that, room was clean, bed was not overly comfortable but was fine for the night. I’ve not spent a night in Shepparton where the local hoons don’t do burnouts until the early hours of the morning, and this night was no exception. Rooms at the front allow a lot of that noise to filter through so be aware of that. I would stay again but no on a long weekend where they charge a premium but don’t provide the usual services, there was no dinner room service even the info book said there is 7 days a week. Reception closed at 5.

The hotel is about 3 kilometers from Shepparton Shopping Centre. There is free parking. Australia's breakfast, lunch and dinner are getting used to Chinese people. No extra beds, the hotel is on the side of the road, and the roar of the car in the middle of the night is very loud. There is a game hall in the hotel (it seems to be a gambling class). The hotel has only two floors, surrounded by a yard, and the parking lot is in the middle. The hotel restaurant is still very clean, I have stayed for two days, and the diners are still quite a lot.

Very clean and tidy motel Would stay again

Stayed overnight in Shepparton at this lovely hotel. Beautiful room exceptionally clean. Park your car right at the door. The room was modern, quiet with a King Size bed, large bathroom, kitchenette and very spacious.There is a mini bar and the prices were very reasonable. The reviews are spot on. We would recommend and stay here again. Dinner suggestion by David was also great.

Having read good reviews, and noting the good location I booked - the rate is reasonable. The room was a good size with a couch. (that becomes significant) Before I travelled I heard that the motel had changed hands about 6 months ago - but the marketing still refers to the old owners. Even the in room compendium names the past owners. Sure it's an older place, but the bed looked nice with crisp white linen. Sitting on the couch, I tried to get the TV working and to access the movies promised in the compendium. Mistake. Back to watching what ever is on free to air. Reclining a little on the couch and looking around the room I noticed the stained curtains and - worst of all - something under the bed right at the end of the bed. It was someone else's sock! Further inspection under the bed found lots of fluff and what looked like a lolly. As an allergy sufferer I can tell you this made me unhappy. I messaged their social media that night and am still to hear any response. On check out I politely asked the lady that my room be cleaned properly before the next guest. She said sorry, then tried to tell me that it was because the last guest had checked out late and that's what happened. Yuck - don't try to blame a guest fr the fact that you hadn't had the room cleaned properly. And I checked in about 4pm - there should have been time to clean it. The bathroom taps were slow to turn on, but the shower was good. Sadly I won't be back - I hope I didn't catch any bugs or mites while there.
