Staying at Guiyun Village in Shangri-La ☁️ solved my anxiety 🥹 🏠Shangri-La Guiyunzhuang Inn (Dukezong Ancient City Branch) 📍No. 121 Cuolang, Beimen Street, Ancient City, Shangri-La City I stumbled upon this B&B by accident and had a great experience 👌 The interior is a wooden house 🏠There is a family room👪 and a double bed room There are electric mattresses on the beds and electric heaters can be arranged in each room. It’s so thoughtful. It’s really warm to live here and makes you feel at home~ There is also a small oven at the front desk, where you can chat and drink tea with friends in the evening🍵It is quite comfortable~ 📷It’s also great to take photos and check in. There is a swing on the first floor. The afternoon sunlight reflects on your body and is warm and comfortable! 📍The location is also very good, not far from the ancient city! You can go to eat and play in just a few steps~

I booked it after reading the overall good reviews, but I was very disappointed! There are several reasons: 1. The room was extremely cold. When I made the reservation, I saw a notice saying that there was no air conditioning or floor heating. I thought it wouldn’t be too cold since the house had walls. But as soon as I entered, I felt like I had fallen into an ice hole! When I closed the window, I discovered that there was a gap between the window frame and the wall, allowing cold air to leak in. At night, the temperature in the room was as low as minus five or six degrees Celsius as in the ancient city! If I don't get under the quilt and turn on the electric blanket, I can't stay at all. My hands and feet are cold and numb, and my power bank has lost power due to the cold! 2. The sound insulation is very poor. I stayed in a double bed room on the first floor, right at the entrance. From the afternoon when guests checked in until midnight, there were all kinds of loud noises. The sound of people going up the stairs and the sound of suitcases being dragged on the wooden boards was the most disgusting. What's more, there was a group of aunts next door on the first night. They were still ********** outside at 12 o'clock. I reminded you and ignored you. On the second night, we arranged for a family to take care of the baby. As soon as I fell asleep for a while at midnight, the baby started crying and kept fussing. By two or three o'clock, good people will have a mental breakdown for two nights! It can be said that there is basically no soundproofing in this room! The store itself knows that there is no soundproofing and posted a reminder to be quiet after 10pm in the lobby. What's the use! 3. Hot water supply. The hot water will be very hot at first, about 60 degrees. If you are not careful, you will get burned. I thought I could take a hot bath at least, but the result was wonderful. The hot water was very hot at the beginning and then kept getting colder. I just finished washing my hair and the hot water ran out within 20 minutes. No matter how I adjusted it, there was only cold water. I had to put on my clothes and go back to the room that was like an ice cave. , whoever lives there knows the feeling! I have stayed in so many hotels and inns, this is the most uncomfortable one! I usually don't write reviews, this place is very disappointing!
