Hongqiao Yunfeng Hotel
4.4/5355 Reviews
Hongqiao District
The room is a bit old, but the girl at the front desk is nice and enthusiastic. Breakfast is from 7 to 9 o'clock. She helped us call a taxi and said that there are easy traffic jams during peak hours after work, so it is more convenient to take the subway. When we left, she saw that we had a lot of luggage and helped us. Carrying it into the car, the little girl is quite strong, 👍
Hongqiao State Guest House Shanghai
4.7/5560 Reviews
Hongqiao District
With 38 years of history, I am already middle-aged, and Hongqiao Guest House is definitely the oldest hotel since the Republic of China was re-opened. What is gratifying is that the management and service are generally very good, but some problems have also been exposed. After staying for three days, I had a sore throat, which was the worst every morning. My nose was also very uncomfortable. On the third morning, I even vomited blood. The symptoms gradually subsided after I left. I never took it seriously and didn't know the reason. My friend came to see me after work. After sitting there for a while, he said that the air in the room was very bad and his throat and nose felt uncomfortable. Only then did I realize that it was a problem with the air in the room. . . Look at this carpet. The dirt on the carpet has not been cleaned for three days.
Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Gubei
4.7/52333 Reviews
Hongqiao District
I was attending an event at the Millennium Hotel nearby and since that place REEKS of horrible perfume, I wanted to find something nearby. The Holiday Inn Express seems to be newly renovated and everything looked new and clean. The room is small, but they make good use of the space. The bed is very comfortable and you have a choice of clearly marked soft or hard pillows. It’s very close to Line 10, so that’s convenient, and there are plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby. There were a lot of choices for breakfast, but nothing very delicious. Everything was either greasy or (unintentionally) cold. Despite seeming attention paid to making sure that things are clean and well-presented, every towel in my room - from bathmat to bath towel to hand towel - was old and frayed. Also, the iron , despite have a neatly tied cord, had a gigantic red blob on it, and multiple black smears. Housekeeping had to have seen these when they wound the cord and placed the iron away, yet they left it in that condition. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again if I were to be in that part of town.

Cypress Garden Hotel
4.8/5742 Reviews
Hongqiao District
The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, with gardens and cute big white geese. There are various fruit trees and a large lawn with a good view. The lobby was very bright and comfortable as soon as I entered. The bellman that day was also very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help me carry my luggage and press the elevator. The room is clean and tidy, and the service attitude is very good 👍. Thank you to the big sister No. 305 for the reception. I am deeply impressed by her enthusiasm, enthusiasm, and smile. Will come again next time.
Grand Millennium Shanghai HongQiao

Hongqiao District
I am just really attached to the millennium brand after staying at the Beijing one. This is my second stay at the hotel and it was really nice, The breakfast is amazing and the buffet dinner was nice. We stayed at a twin room I wonder why they have such bad lighting though at night the room looks so dark. We had the same problem last time and we changed rooms and the other room had great lighting.
