Hello, We're Essay Yeonnam.
It is a studio and a B&B run by a couple who love books and travel.
I started "Essay-Yeonnam," hoping that the memories and stories I spent with precious people will remain, and it will be a space to present those memories.
It has four rooms and two bathrooms, and it's a south-facing area with good lighting.
There is also a warm space with relaxation and a dining room where you can have a good time with your precious people.

It's right across from the center of Yeonnam-dong, so it's accessible and quiet.
The beautiful Gyeongui Line forest road is also near every season
You can make memories while taking a walk in nature in the city center.

A small independent building in Yeonnam-dong, a very quiet area in Hongdae ~ The location is about 10 minutes' walk from the Airport Line and Hongik University Station on Line 2... The triple room has a double bed and an upper bunk, and the room is in Seoul It's not too small... at least it can open three big boxes at the same time! It's clean and hygienic. Although there is no elevator for people, there is an elevator for luggage, so you don't need to carry your luggage up! ! There is a small restaurant on the first floor with a water bar and microwave available for use. You can sit and eat fried chicken in the evening! The room has a password lock, making it easy to enter and exit. The only drawback is that it’s not too far to walk to the subway station, but it would be better if it was closer! ! !

The location is in the bustling Yeonnam-dong, but it is quiet in the alley, convenient and not noisy! The bed is big and the toilet is very clean! Checking in was easy! What a big mistake!

Check-in is very convenient, self-service check-in, email and on-site instructions are very clear. I booked a bed in a 8-bed dormitory, with AC.
The dormitory is large enough, so you do not feel packed at all.
The bed is a bunk bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress.
For this dorm and the hostel, you have access to 1 full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink), 2 showers, 2 toilets + sink, 2 sinks.
All were clean.
The WiFi was good.
The staff is nice and friendly.
I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

Hostel with a room for 6 pax. The concept was that there is no check in and no receptionist. You were given a code to an electronic door lock to your room to access. This worked well for me when I arrived around 1 am from the airport. The lady operating the place was also nice... I messaged her at midnight and she responded! Location was not bad as it is about 1km to Hongdae and the Hongik University subway, which also has access to AREX.

There are three floors, no elevator, clean and hygienic, the layout is very warm, the room is a little smaller, the bathroom is common, very large, except the toothpaste toothbrush needs to bring it, others have. The boss will prepare in advance one night before breakfast. In the morning, I will choose to process it. There are bread, eggs, milk cereal, freshly ground coffee, instant coffee, juice, and I am very happy. The breakfast is also very happy.

Sophie Wang is here to recommend ”Sunday Morning”, a super chill place!
It's super spacious, and the bathroom is super modern and convenient.
There's also a big dressing table in the living room, which is just gorgeous!
I especially want to mention Brother Kit from Hong Kong, who is super nice and very knowledgeable about Korean Wave.
He gave us a deep understanding of Korean culture.
Brother Kit took us to appreciate the latest Korean trends,
making our journey even more unique and exciting.
For girls who love to play and love beauty, ”Sunday Morning” is simply a perfect choice,
you must come and experience it!

The restaurant ”Qinqin” in the inn opposite the residence, their dumpling soup is really a must try,

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and helpful, with good English communication skills. They were also accommodating to my specific room requests.
The room itself was nicely appointed, but unfortunately, the room temperature was too warm, fixed at 27 degrees Celsius with no option to adjust the heater. This made for an uncomfortable stay, especially at night. Additionally, the bathroom layout, while suitable for solo travelers, would likely be inconvenient for couples due to the lack of a separate door for the toilet area. There's no bidet, which was a bit disappointing. I think the hotel would benefit from upgrading to automated toilets for a more modern and convenient experience.

BBrandonFirst time visiting S. Korea. The front desk was really nice with translations, directions and help setting up tours of the city and DMZ. Breakfast was simple selection of cereals, yogurts, juices, and fruits. The street that this hostel is on, is jammed packed with shops and restaurants. Be aware, this hostel close at 10pm. If you are not there before that time you may be locked out for the night like we were.

When we arrived, the front door was an automatic lock, but there was line&kakao ID written on the front door. The host responded to our message very quickly and tell us about all the informations via line. The hostel was very quiet and the was plenty amenities provided for customers. There was no elevator and the stairs were quite narrow. The location is excellent and we enjoyed 2nights there.
