Superb stay for a few days of business..staff were great at looking after the team with all needs. Food was great (if a little limited options), view is lovely across the lake and the rooms were quiet good too - seem to have learned from previous reviews and added a fan. It isn’t the kind of hotel for bellhops so if that’s what you need, head elsewhere but with on site parking, a good breakfast and close to the mountain, it was worth the stay!

Check in and breakfast is located in the sister hotel, 5-10min. We chose the free park because it was cheaper. For the price we paid, we were enthusiastic! The bathrooms are relatively new, everything is very clean and you benefit from many places from 4-Stern Service: For example, it has various care products, snap set, shaped set, water bottles on the room etc. Breakfast was also very delicious and the staff was very friendly & premature. It was no problem for us to go a few minutes walk to the sister hotel to breakfast and check in, it was the price difference. All in all absolutely recommend!

Really lovely hotel that exceeded expectations. The room was big and clean. The kitchenette in particular was useful to have, and pots, pans, cutlery, etc were provided when requested. Shirete was an amazing, welcoming receptionist, incredibly helpful - no request was too much. The hotel is also situated in a great location if you want to visit Lucerne, Zurich and even Interlaken. Also a fantastic location for views of Mt Rigi. Would definitely stay here again for future central Switzerland visits.

I booked a three night stay here for myself and son aged 2.5. I found the journey from Zurich airport easy. I took the train to HB then changed to a train to Brunnen. I did switch at Zug. Then the 504 bus to the hotel was 10 minutes from Brunnen station. Overall it took just under 2 hours. There was some confusion at check in. I booked via ********** and assumed I was in the hotel. I was not aware there were apartments, and these are treated differently from hotel guests. After discussing this with management, we agreed I could pay an additional fee to be treated as a hotel guest. This was much better as it included full board food for my son, breakfast for both of us, towels/robes and lots more extras. Had I just been in the apartment, I would have had to check out at 10am whereas hotel/hostel is 11am. Also check in for apartments is at 4pm whereas hotel/hostel in 3pm. Breakfast is charged at CHF 27 per person/per day and children’s meals are CHF 9 per meal. Also, the gym is charged at CHF 15 per person/per day. As you can see it can get very expensive. I found the apartment to be very spacious and comfortable. It was frustrating having to navigate finding the apartment in the dark as the signs were not clear and it was difficult to navigate some steps with the buggy. The restaurant was great for the children’s meals/ Plenty to choose from. The restaurants did get busy but I never booked and was always able to get a table. At lunch I did not want to eat so little one only ate, I felt like the waitresses did not like this and kept asking if I wanted to order something. The kids facilities are the best. The play area is great with lots of fun toys. Sadly parents let their children run unsupervised but that’s not the hotels fault. Ethan also went to TOM’s Happy Club one morning whilst I went to the gym. The pool was also great. Plenty to keep the children entertained. We also enjoyed the cinema room. There isn’t much local to the hotel unless you have a car but we were only there for a few days so it was ok for us. Overall I would recommend this hotel for families. So much to keep children happy. We stayed for the umpteenth time in this wonderful family hotel. The rooms are individually designed in a modern style and clean. The hotel is easily accessible from the motorway, but is still in a quiet location. The breakfast has everything we needed. The dinner was very tasty, both the guest room and the breakfast room are modern and discreet. In short, a hotel to relax and unwind after a long drive. The hotelier couple is very warm and takes care of all wishes. We'd love to come back.

I tried to get to 4 out of 5, but need to be honest. The hotel isnt responsible for the view and the view makes up for a lot of negatives in the hotel. Check in was friendly and quick and we had the key to our room on the 4th floor no more than 5 minutes after we arrived. Parking was a bit of a search because we arrived on a sunday during lunchtime and apparently this is a popular time to have lunch at that hotel. The room we got is on the 4th floor and is a standard room with lakeview. The room is very tiny! Washbasin is in the room and the shower and toilet are separate but really tiny space too! If you are with 2 and you have your luggage then the room is completely filled up and no space to store anything. There is a ventilator, but no airconditioning. But thats OK. we could open the window and the fresh breeze over the lake came into the room. But also the mosquitos! So maybe they can place some mosquito net in front of the window? There is a watercooker in the room, but with a very short powercord, so the only place where we could use it was on the washbasin, but that was not very stable. The bed was not comfy, hard and the pillows are non existent. The wifi was good and fast! Then breakfast. It was a ”buffet”, but it was very limited. Some bread you need to cut yourself, thats OK, but with Covid? And the rest was just some cheeses and meats, some sweet things and thats it. Coffee was from a machine and juice from a tap. It was ok, but not really memorable. We didnt have dinner here because we read some reviews and watched what other guests ordered and compared prices and we decided not to do it. Check out was not really check out, it was just paying the bill and thats it. The desk agent didnt ask how our stay was or wasn't interested at all. So all in all too much things I dont like about a hotel at this price level. The views and location is priceless thats true. But it was like that the hotel is managed without passion. Thats a bit sad.

Great child-friendly hotel, good breakfast. Super as an interim hotel on the way to Italy. Great and clean rooms. There are good restaurants (also child-friendly) in the nearest surroundings

Close to the lake, super tossing from Zurich airport, train and bus, it took about 2 hours to put it... a little tired~ I know that I will not be so tossed by boat in Lucerne, and the boat is still comfortable. ~ The room is quite big, but I think the door is not very good, I feel that the lock is easy to open, and I bring the anti-theft artifact. The day before yesterday, the staff will return to your question, but feel very impatient. One day, the cleaning staff cleaned the room during the day, put my pillows on the bed, and put my pajamas under the mattress. I found it for a long time, and I went to the front desk and said that my pajamas were gone. I was dissatisfied! ! !
