Pre-note: my reviews are always based on value for money. A 5 star hotel may have more facilities but may rate lower in my mind than a for eg 2 star friendly, more basic but clean accommodation. ....and that's where we start here. For the price tag, the hotel is clean, friendly, beds are comfortable, shower good pressure and as warm as you want it. In room ac and mini bar fridge. Brekki perfectly good (for italian hotel breakfast fare). Orange juice good quality and fresh (always a winner!) When faced with working later than planned on a so called day off..I found myself hungry and tired. The hotel restaurant saved my evening . Friendly staff. Good , hearty and tasty food, and totally not bothered at customers walking in at 21.30 to place an order. As hotels go this is a good find. Maybe not the best location if you want to be centrly based, but what you spend in a taxi fare you will definitely save in the room rates. It's also close to the Stadio Vanni Sanna..so should there be a concert there...its just a 5mins walk ... Good value accommodation .

The staff are certainly friendly and try hard to help. The room was clean, well air conditioned and the bed was comfortable. These positives elements aside, what lets down this hotel are the following: The breakfast was rather dire, having a very limited selection. Cold cuts of ham, plus tasteless rubbery cheese slices. They couldn’t even fry an egg (we asked) and, egg wise, all that was available was scrambled. The bacon *****s could be used to re-sole one’s shoes. The croissants were rock hard (one can only guess that they were cooked the day previously). The hotel’s restaurant is not open on Sunday (probably just as well, if the breakfast is anything to go by) and there are seemingly very limited options to have food delivered from vendors outside (with pretty much all closed on a Sunday. That said, Deliveroo worked but took ages along with very limited options and when that food did arrive it was stone cold). It also seems that the hotel only has one iron and no ironing board (thus the corner of ones bed had to substitute for an ironing board). Only one small lift. No pool.

Highly recommend staying here when in Sassari! The staff were very nice and accommodating and the room and breakfast were excellent!! Would stay again, the only drawback is the location in reference to the town and bus/train stations. If you don't mind walking a ways or if you have a car, this place is definitely a must stay!!

È ormai da più di due anni che frequento mensilmente l’hotel Carlo Felice, l’hotel Migliore di Sassari, che offre servizi eccellenti sia per quanto riguarda la cucina sia per colazione e camere. E dopo la ristrutturazione è sicuramente migliorato!!

Servizio impeccabile. Tutto lo staff e stato in grado di soddisfare ogni mia richiesta già dal mio pernottamento tramite telefono. Al mio arrivo sono stato accolto con sorriso e cordialità. La stanza assegnatami rispecchiava ciò che mi avevano promesso. La pulizia al top senza tralasciare nemmeno un piccolo angolino. Il bagno e soprattutto la doccia pulita e profumata . La colazione per quanto mi riguarda, abbastanza variegato e completa . Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole trascorrere qualche ora in città ma la sera vuole riposare in tranquillità.
