Nice hotel, restaurants around available and Publix. The beach is about 10 min drive and they have a shuttle! The pool is very nice with lots of activities for adults and kids like connect four , chess and a bar . The hotel was comfy and the price was worth the stay . Everyone was very friendly . The breakfast was pretty good with some fruits , bagels , waffles , pancakes , omelet, yogurt , some pastries , juice and coffee . I would definitely stay again!

With everyone coming out of the pandemic and beginning to travel again this hotel is above and beyond expectations, speaking as a previous Courtyard by Marriott in Glenwood Springs, CO. They have a full breakfast, with eggs, a protein, as well as a stir-fry starch - with all the regular offerings such as yogurt, pastries, an assortment of juices, and fresh coffee at the touch of a button. Their front desk staff if wonderful - Pedro makes you feel welcome and at home, no matter your background or how long your stay is. This place is truly a home away from home. If your room is not ready yet, you are welcome to sit in their lounge, connect to WiFi, or even enjoy yourself by the pool (towels provided) - they even have a hot tub, and the ability to help disabled individuals into the pool. Housekeeping is wonderful and full of life and a passion for their job. I am on an extended stay, as I apply and interview for jobs back in Colorado, and my car is even being transported out to here. I have felt very welcome, as has my dog Bruce Wayne. I am a licensed clinician and have traveled a lot around the country and this is one of my favorite Choice properties. They sell out on the weekends, so be sure to make your booking early. They even have a few rooms with whirlpools if you really want to treat yourself. It has been a blessing to come across this place, that is pet-friendly, and the staff all make you feel welcome. I can't say enough positives about this property - and there's been no problems with water pressure or the WiFi connectivity. The BBQ grill out back is a wonderful touch, and allows you to save some money by cooking dinner right at your accommodation. Bravo! Encore! Thank you for all you do.

Currently staying here and so far it’s been a horrible customer service experience. Staying in a room with 4 people (1 couple and 2 teenagers) no linen provided for pull out bed. When called down to reception we were advised that there is no housekeeping and we’d have to come down to reception ourselves to get the linen. Staying x 3 days, room has not been made up at all by housekeeping, when asked at reception was advised that housekeeping is only provided for stays exceeding 4 days. When asked for additional towels, reception hesitated to provide. Paid for daily parking yet received a $60 parking violation in the parking garage…for no reason. Stay here if you expect zero service fora very basic room at a high cost

Stayed briefly overnight for business in downtown Sarasota. Very nice property. Clean, modern, comfortable beds and bedding. Balcony view at night was awesome. Staff was truly exceptional. Will be bringing my family back to enjoy the resort, my stay was too short.

Very impressed with the cleanliness, excellent breakfast with lots of variety. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Hotel staff very friendly. Housekeeping services does an excellent job. They went into the rooms when we weren’t there, did our beds and changed the towels. I highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThis is truly a tropical paradise. Driving up to the property, you'd never imagine what is behind the wall of palms/greenery that surrounds the resort. It's a small property (approximately 20 rooms??) but packs a HUGE punch and gives you the vibe that you're in Jamaica at an exclusive tiki resort. It is magical at night with all the twinkle lights overhead, meandering pathways, and firepits. There is an ice machine, communal washer/dryer, screened-in room for games/shade, a small BBQ area with table and chairs, covered tiki huts for shade, plenty of loungers and hammocks, two pools (one adults only), a public restroom near the main pool, yard games such as tic-tac-toe and cornhole, beach chairs for borrow, books for borrow, bikes for borrow, an outdoor shower for rinsing after the pool, on and on. We were in a Key Suite which was 450 sq ft with a full kitchen. The room looked lik it was recently renovated with updated flooring and granite countertops and had plenty of room for three adults. There was one king bed and a pull-out sofa. The bathroom is small but we made do. Isaac at the front desk was very helpful at check-in and offered recommendations and explained the property. I didn't realize how much I would LOVE this little resort. Location is perfect. You're one mile from the bridge that brings you over to Siesta Key (south side). If you go, you will know!!

I wanted to take a special moment to commend Rose in the restaurant. Her service, her attention, her up beat attitude, taking time to be personable, handling small issues as if they're just not issues at all - she was great the days that our response team, and myself in particular, were assisted with Breakfast.

We saw no signs of on going work and our 4th floor bedroom/bathroom were very comfortable, clean and well supplied. The breakfast area --- though rather devoid of travelers--- also looked untouched by construction noise and disarray. And there was a nice selection of breakfast foods to choose from. Quite honestly, we were pleasantly surprised as the cost was considerably less than we are accustomed to paying in Sarasota. We chose this hotel for its location, a quick and easy drive to Celery Fields where we walk and look for birds. Upon arriving, we were happy to find that it is off the road and on a pond. The pond was full of birds, so in 5 minutes after parking; we got some fun photos. We will definitely return to this hotel. They gave us no reason not to and several good reasons to repeat the experience.

AandersoncarolI booked a room before hurricane Ian because hotel is away from storm surge area and my condo is in zone b. Unfortunately, I only got to use your amenities briefly before a power outage took away electricity for most room lights and hall lights, tv, a/c, elevator, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, internet, etc. Not a single outlet to charge phones. The staff managed breakfast since they had power in one room and one tv was on in the lobby. Your manager said it was FPL fault.
Before that, only one elevator was working. A staff person said one had been out at least 4 months. This seems like neglect.
When Ian was nearing, the wind popped a window and the latch would not hold. Maintenance problem? At least there was quick response and a staff person drilled hole to put in hardware to fasten it closed.
All power went out on Wednesday ~ 2, due to the storm for sure this time. Thursday am the staff put together a reasonable cold breakfast in mostly darkness. I was surprised that the hotel did not have more than a few battery lights for lobby and breakfast area. This is Florida, even smaller storms often cause outages and the need for lightning is something that should be anticipated. About $50 to $100 worth of little led battery lanterns would have helped a lot. The stairwells were so dark and unsafe also. I think this is also neglect.

The Sarasota location on north tamiami is extremely clean and well kept. Sandra at the front desk was extremely helpful and so nice! For the low price this hotel is a hidden gem!

GGuest UserIt was so disgusting I couldn't stay there and had to make other arrangements. I checked in and went to the room past shirtless drunk, smoking, derelicts. When I entered the room the carpet was old, frayed, with holes, the curtains were ripped or slashed, and there was what looked like a bullet hole in the bathroom door. The walls had random thumbtacks all over like it was a crime scene and they left markers. The room door didn't close all the way it had a huge gap that air and light came through. When I tried to close the door I thought the frame and window adjacent to it were going to break, but there were 3 deadbolts on the door. There were multiple homeless people laying about the property. This was the absolute worst experience and the first time in all my years of travel that I left a hotel because I truly felt unsafe being there.

GGuest UserFirst off this place has roaches , second thing is the staff is super strange I stayed for 3 days 2 night was the same 2 people from the time u wake up till time u go to bed possibly owners as well anyways super rude the whole time 3rd issue is the pool is disgusting has debris and leaves in it looks to never be cleaned the concrete area around the pool was full of debris was so nasty we didn't even want to go near it 4th and main issue is they require a deposit of $30 in the beginning of your stay in case u smoke in the room I told the lady np I don't smoke I basically used this room just to sleep and do business else where through the whole Day when I went out on balcony u can smell cigarettes and Marijuana lingering from other tenants after 3 weeks I realized they kept my deposit when I called them they confirmed they kept my deposit because I smoked in my room which is not true then she proceeds to tell me I was smoking pot in my room and kept my deposit even though it's not true I suspected they was gonna pull something funny so I cleaned my room and took the key to the desk on time on checkout only thing I didn't do was make the bed but yet they still kept my deposit and the 4th issue was check our time is 11 am and at 10 am the lady who owns the building works the desk and also does house keeping knocked and quickly opened my door 1 hour before checkout to clean my room I mean fr how rude can u be come in my room 1 hour before checkout while I'm trying to get ready and keep a deposit and lie about why u r keeping it this place is a scam and dirty payed 160 a night only because it was during spring break SMH u guys should be ashamed of yourselves I contacted my bank after dealing with the extremely rude lady who never sleeps and runs the whole show if u r reading this run as fast as u can find another hotel this is not where u want to be while visiting beautiful Florida this hotel will be the reason u regretted the trip hope u keeping my $30 was worth this review I wouldn't have even left this if u weren't so greedy BTW stop telling people they are defaming your business name if the accusations are true says 50 plus reviews then it is what it is
