Beautiful family run hotel .. contemporary yet Greek decor, wonderful pool and outside area with very friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location only a few meters away from the beach and restaurants of Kamari and opposite the best gyros restaurant ever! Highly recommend

what a beautiful place to stay Our room looked over the pool perfect location for the beach and restaurants Barbara was the perfect host nothing was too much trouble for them our room was kept clean and fresh towels every day loved every minute and not forgetting the resident cat panthea who liked to join us for breakfast Just perfect and can’t wait to go back

We stayed in a junior suite with a terrace overlooking the pool, the hotel is well maintained and really clean, breakfast great , staff have been so pleasant and helpful. Location is perfect 50m from the beach with a huge selection of restaurants within walking distance. Bus service available 2 mins walk . Fira is a 15min drive as we had a car . Sunrise is beautiful.

Very nice hotel. Just a few yards to bars. Restaurants and the beach. The room was very clean and cleaned daily and fresh towels supplied even one for the pool. Bed very comfortable and the shower was brilliant .Good variety for breakfast. Staff and owners were very friendly. In all I had a very good stay at this hotel

Wonderful stay, lovely hotel and wonderful service. Room was lovely and very comfortable. All staff very helpful. Hotel ideal location as close to the beach , restaurants and bus stop. Fifteen minute walk to the open air cinema. We hired a car for 2 days and saw most of the island, but can do this also via bus if preferred . Would visit again and would recommend.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon in 2021 and couldn’t wait to come back for our summer holiday this year. Hippocampus did not disappoint, the staff are super friendly and helpful, rooms are perfect, clean comfortable with modern amenities. We had a room with a hot tub - amazing! The pool area so clean, comfortable sun loungers and always a space for relaxing. This hotel is our happy place. Thank you to Barbara and the team - we will be back next year for another fantastic stay with yourselves.

Great small hotel based in a very convenient location for the beach and restaurants.
Deluxe rooms are very nice with pillows and mattresses being extremely comfortable.

Booked last minute and found the perfect stay for our family of 5. Luxury rooms with jacuzzi are spacious and very clean and just a short walk from all local amenities. Staff were welcoming and helpful for the duration of the stay. This was a great base for exploring the beautiful Island. Being just set back from the seafront made it quieter and more secluded than similar hotels. The breakfast was a great addition with excellent food choice.

Lovely family tan hotel. Even before we left the UK, our communications with the hotel were superb. Check in smooth. Had breakfast included but only had a few coffees, so don’t feel it fair to comment. Having visited Kamari lots of times, we have lots to compare to. Rooms clean, pool area well spaced loungers and a shower. Enjoyed a few drinks round the pool, similarly priced to other Kamari hotels. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. The location for us personally was outstanding. There was building work opposite, not the hotels fault and nice to see tourism recovering post pandemic. The hotel appeared to be building some new rooms with possible hot tubs, if that’s the case, we will be back to try those rooms.
