Driving from Las Vegas to San Francisco, I temporarily chose to stay in Santa Nella for one night when it got dark.
The hotel is very close to the highway. Although it is of motel standard, it has a swimming pool... and the breakfast is okay. The staff are very considerate. As soon as they saw me holding a thermos, I knew that Chinese people need to receive boiling water, haha
There are many restaurants and gas stations nearby. Mrs Anderson’s pea soup recommended by the staff is very good.

Parking areas have too many access points to make it feel secure. Corroded and dripping sprinkler heads under building overhangs do not inspire confidence in fire safety or general upkeep.

Location is good right off the freeway, staff was nice. Condition of the Hotel was not good. Room had broken furniture, task chair, bathroom light was out and cockroaches in bathroom and kitchen area. The room was not clean, the roaches got into the refrigerator, I had to throw out my food. The hotel staff explained they don’t clean the rooms during your stay. It shows, in this neglected hotel in both the facility and apathy towards its guests. Patron a hotel that cares.

Good: The shared areas are very nice including a large pool area, a fun faux village in the reception area and a nice dining area. Breakfast was good with waffle machines, eggs, sausage, yogurts, juices, hot drinks, and some bread options. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom in the room was large, clean and comfortable. The price was great.
Could be better: The room was decent but could be updated. There was a bit of a musty smell which is probably from older furnishings.

They no longer offer 2 bed rooms on the ground floor, only a single king. This is a bit inconvenient, much farther between your car, the elevator and room.

Sure, the furniture in the room is a little worn and perhaps a little dated. But so what? The place is clean, the room is large, the shower is nice, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is very satisfactory. Is it the best place I've ever stayed? No. But it exceeds expectations when you consider that it's the least expensive hotel in Santa Nella, yet it's the best in many ways. The only one that is arguably better costs twice as much to stay there. So, if you're just looking for a clean, comfortable, spacious room with good plumbing, lighting, and a decent breakfast all for a low price, there's really nothing to complain about here. Also, the room entrances and courtyard can only be accessed either by going through the front office or be a metal gate that is opened by your key card. So, the grounds are quite secure.

On the road for an overnight. Room was comfortable, clean. All rooms face an interior courtyard. All good but you have to hike your luggage to your room. Cost was reasonable, staff was nice

Second time I stay here and had a good stay both times. Glad they offer free breakfast. Only down side is some noise from trucks and a gate that was near my room.

The staff was excellent! The room was very dated but clean. 2” gap under the door was creepy.
