This place is great! It’s right on the beach. They have a terrace to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. The rooms are great and comfortable. Plus, the service is great! Lenny and crew carried our 200 pounds of luggage with a smile. We will aim to stay here again soon.

Wonderful hotel, truly world class. Great location, beautiful rooms and unparalleled service. Lenny the valet got us all settled in and Cam took great care of us while we relaxed around the pool. Can’t wait to return to Santa Monica and the Oceana.

The hotel is nice, clean and everything you would expect from a hotel of this price. The staff is fabulous! From the lovely woman at the front desk who checked us in, to the extremely attentive bell men, to the bartenders! A+. A special shout out to Dan & Lenny who not only provided great service but did it with a smile and made me feel as it was their pleasure to do so. Thanks to all, great stay!

Overall we loved our time at the Oceana, but for a luxury property a few things fell a bit short that we wanted to address.... Upon arrival we were greeted by the extremely friendly staff. I must say, the staff are exceptional here and go above and beyond to make your experience a memorable one. Shout out to GM Sara. When we arrived in our room we were pleased with how large it was and we loved the decor. The bed was overall comfortable and plenty of storage space for our luggage and clothes. However, the walls were filled with markings and the carpets were beginning to fray. For the price I was expecting the rooms to be in a bit better condition. We also quickly realized there was an issue with our shower head, it was basically trickling out water. We notified the front desk and they thankfully resolved this issue fairly quickly. Last point about the rooms, I'd suggest requesting a top floor room as we could hear footsteps above us and the cracking of the floor. The pool area was very relaxing. You're able to order food and drinks, and while they are certainly expensive, it was worth it. The pool was never too crowded, and was consistently quiet. It gets good sun throughout the day as well. The fitness center is just off the pool area and while smaller is still a great gym. We did walk to the beach one day but I should warn you it's a bit of a hike across the bridge. The location is great, walking distance to downtown Santa Monica with all it has to offer, yet far enough away that it's extremely quiet and safe. Each day we ventured out to a different area of town, there is so much to do and see just steps away from this property. We will certainly return to the Oceana - and would recommend you visit as well.

Lenny, Daniel and Thomas were so great at welcoming meeting me and helping me throughout my stay with advice and bags and my car. They went above and beyond. My room was beautifully decorated the pool and restaurant service was exquisite in the food, although I had breakfast only, was served with Grace.

THANK YOU TO THE BOSS DUO RIGO AND LAURENT (say it with a French accent), TALL AND LOVELY ERICK, AND BILLY & JORGE IN THE RESTAURANT! We are locals who needed to get out of the heat And to come here for the occasional staycation. The team is extremely generous, very accommodating, present and ridiculously gorgeous. If you want great smiles and costly cappuccinos, the Oceana is heaven. Pool is groovy and even when there are kids around, it is pleasant and relaxing. The rooms are sexy and spacious and the ocean view is not necessarily the most desirable so don’t pass on a room in the back where the sounds of cars and motorcycles and ocean Boulevard don’t travel to. Hate packing up to leave but happy we live seven blocks away. Thank you to the entire team at the LXR. You do it better than most.
