Checkin Bungalows Atlántida

We read some bad reviews prior to coming to the resort and were nervous about what we had read. However we stayed here for 10 nights and had a wonderful holiday! Hotel location was perfect! A 5 minute walk to beach were there was plenty restraunts/pubs and beach activities too. We were all inclusive so ate and drank at the hotel majority of the time. The food was good quality, although not hundreds of options, the options provided were always of good standard. Bar and kitchen staff were always super helpful and up for a laugh, we were sad to be leaving them behind when going home!! Pool area was clean and life guard was super friendly and always went above and beyond for us. He spoke little English bus still somehow made us laugh daily. The entertainment team provide lots of activities during the day (darts, pool, bowls, basketball to name a few) which we always thoroughly enjoyed. The night time entertainment was always of good quality although my only negative was the evening entertainment would only be on for around an hour each night so was finished for 10/10:30 each night. There was an entertainment team member called Aada who we personally felt went that wee bit more above and beyond what was required. She was always trying to involve everyone and even those a little more shy, doing what she could to try get them involved. She made our stay!! As for the negatives, my only gripe was that the cleaner had only came to our room 2x our entire 10 night stay and rooms didn’t have a hairdryer or air con unit. We were able to hire a hairdryer and fan from reception but the fan doesn’t do much unless sat right beside it (which I had to do most nights when getting ready). Overall, we had a very positive stay and the staff definitely made the trip for us. We would definitely consider returning to Atlantida bungalows !
Hotel Las Madrigueras Golf Resort & Spa - Adults Only

arrival 11th October, the hotel sits on higher ground skirting the golf course it owns. The reception is beautiful and the doorman helpful. Room 6 a duplex suite is in my opinion the worst room of the complex, having no brochure views of the pool or golf course from which we decided upon this Suite. I pointed this out to the reception and asked for a different room. Only 4 in the hotel so no move. Downgrade us to give us a view was met with a denial hotel full, even though other guests were being moved throughout the week, Jet2 was no help here as the complaint was addressed 3 days into holiday. My view on the hotel. is mixed, a beautiful building filled with wonderful guests but the management in particular have an air of arrogance. The restaurant matradee one good one bad, no names mentioned, we did comment on this, the waiting staff were excellent and at the end of the week we will miss them. Other guests suggested we check our bill and indeed it was wrong, but put right upon clarification. The tvs for us in english kept dropping out and the bedroom tv did not give us english for the first 2 days until it was fixed. The air con is adequate and a haven to cool off in this exceptional week of hot weather for the time of year. but it does not attain the set temp rate. and 21 degs was best we could get during the night time. and given the size of the rooms it never will. it looks to be a central controlled system. The golf course was a pleasure to play, variation and elevation nicely set around some water features, you a paired with other golfers from the hotel with fill in from external bookings, it is also reasonably priced given the buggy is free to use during your stay at the hotel, Pool and bar for us was used to dip and cool off and never looked overcrowded. The terrace dining experience was fantastic watching the sunsets as we ate over an hour for the 3 course fare of offer. enough variation for a week. but Felt some of the specials were not to the stannard of the set al a carte menu. In all, a fine hotel with a relaxing atmosphere but away from the centre of anything. shortcomings spoilt this experience which doesn't come cheap.

Visited hotel in april 2024. Hotel states they have 4 starts, but they don't at least not as per travel agencies which gave them 3 starts which is more accurate. If you consider this as as 3 star hotel it's worth its price. Overall decent week stay in room 333. If you are looking for a calm and peaceful stay, I would recommend it as there is nothing around when i visited 90% of guests were 55+. But also it's only 20 minutes by local bus to the capital Santa Cruz, so you can go and see something or go clubbing. In terms of hotel: Pros: - cheap hotel, at least we had a good deal - 2 pools, one with all entertainment and one so called ”chill area” where only 16+ and all inclusive guests are allowed and they're actually respecting these rules - very tasty food during meals, fresh, plenty of choice. different themes for every day dinner - friendly and supportive staff. i've asked for local club t-shirt and gentlemen from reception went above to help and called local stores to ask for me and suggested where i can go and buy - nearby stores where you can buy local groceries, for normal price, not overpriced stuff Cons: - soft drinks are terrible, even in Egypt they are better, which is very surprising. you could see during night shows people taking only alcohol and pouring into their own fanta/cola from a bottle - general cleanliness was ok, but for example the floor in our room was not cleaned even once. you could see same dust on the floor day 1 to last day - general state of hotel is outdated, need some improvements but it's safe and you can easily enjoy your stay - no fridge in standard room, even small one is definitely bad thing, considering you're visiting very warm country and even when i visited mallorca in 3* hotel, they had ones - AC not really helpful, there is no way to set it up, only turn on or turn off - in whole room only one accessible plug General comment regarding animations - considering avg age of guests shows are not very enjoyable.

Beautiful old bijoux hotel. We first saw this hotel last year when having a day trip to Garachico and felt we had to return. It didn’t disappoint. We were very much welcomed by all the staff who seemed delighted to share the history of this extraordinary property. We had a junior suite which gave us an extra room and it overlooked the square. Don’t worry about the clock tower chiming. Last chimes at 23.00 and first at 07.00. It was a bit noisy on the Saturday evening with families having, what felt like, a traditional Spanish family weekend evening. I enjoyed listening to the children having fun. Only small criticism about the room is the AC didn’t really work, but sleeping with the shutters open cooled the room nicely in February. The courtyard garden was a pleasure to sit in and feel cosseted by the lovely staff. Breakfast buffet was tasty with options for most nationalities. A small suggestion would be have small jugs available for the milk of tea drinkers. I strongly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Recently stayed at this beautiful hotel for 4 nights (16th to 19th January) in a fabulous location overlooking the beach and surrounding area of Puerto de la Cruz. We booked a Superior Room with Sea View and were not disappointed. Fabulous views from our balcony. Very welcoming staff on Reception, beautiful well maintained grounds, beautiful roof top pool area with adjoining Restaurant. First class food great quality in Restaurant and buffet breakfast (absolutely everything you could ask for and so fresh) locally produced. Rooftop Restaurant for lunch was fabulous. Menus extensive and all cooked fresh. Restaurant Staff Exceptional, courteous and friendly. Plenty of room around the pool, and no-one getting up early to bag a bed. Top Class Hotel and Staff. Just one minor point to make and this is not a criticism, we would like tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It's just our personal preference to get up early in the morning and sit on the beautiful balcony watching the world go buy listening to the waves crash with a cup of tea or coffee before going down to the fabulous breakfast buffet. Thank you all staff a ValleMar, we will be back.

Not bad, although there were a few twists and turns, but the platform solved it! The scenery of the hotel is really good and beautiful. Two people can visit Yongchi Lake and the breakfast is better. British elderly people prefer this place when traveling!
