Pensión Aia

What a wonderful surprise. It exceeded all expectations. We were uncertain about staying in a “shared bathroom” situation but in this case there were more than enough bathrooms to take care of the guests. Very quiet. Well-equipped kitchen and common area. Loved the owners who are there every day. Super helpful suggestions upon check-in. They even helped me fill out a lost item request with the bus transport company. All in all a FIRST CLASS operation. Highly recommended. Great location in a safe, cool neighborhood.

Our stay was extremely comfortable. A great room, with a nice terrace/balcony. We felt welcome from the moment we checked-in, where the owner and his wife immediately gave us information about San-Sebastian. Unfortunately we made a mistake of booking 3 nights, instead of 4. The owner immediately started calling other guest houses around town and in 5 minutes she organised us a stay, with discount, just a 5 min walk away, all while she made sure we could wait inside Pension Aia and be comfortable until the other guest house/hotel was ready to welcome us. This is a type of service that is unique and shows Pension Aia goes out of their way to give their guest the best possible experience they could possibly get. We will definitely book again with pension Aia when coming back to San Sebastián!

Great find Great place near to the beach and lots of great food. Really welcoming people and use of kitchen for morning coffee etc. room was small but very comfortable and extremely well soundproofed from the busy street.

Good place to stay. The host was very helpful and gave us good local knowledge. The room and shared kitchen area were very user friendly and clean.

Great location, very spacious, and absolutely perfect for beach days and shopping trips.
