We had a wonderful stay! Awesome staff, 24-7 bar service. Clean rooms and beautiful views. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family. Thank you, El Colonial!

We really enjoyed our stay. Superb staff. Great location. Complimentary lobby bar for guests open 24/7. Nice rooftop area. Some umbrellas on the roof would be nice. We'll definitely stay there again.

The staff were more than helpful, from the second we walked in Lewis immediately greeted us with drinks (free open bar) and gave us great tips on how to start our vacation. Also the communication between staff was top notch! I will most definitely be staying here again when I visit back.

I'm going to write a better, longer review later. On the run right now I'll just say that Luis, Angel Adriel and Gerardo were fantastic hosts. The historic building and free bar were very cool. We will definitely return. The "no kids" and key code entry and exit features were great.

The building is old and has some charm so guess you give up on some comforts. Could do with repairs to tile floors, descale shower head, maybe mattress pads on the twin beds as they are very firm
Need a way to turn off very bright temp light on air conditioner. Personnel helpful and friendly. Think property over priced but seems to be going rate in area. You really pay for the location

No elevators though. We were on the 3 rd floor and the steps seemed endless, lol

Location is perfect if you want to stay in Old San Juan. Staff was so sweet, hospitable, and friendly. Loved the rooftop and the house made drinks. My partner and I loved it and will come back next time we visit!
