The accommodation provides spacious, clean rooms with beautiful views and well-maintained facilities. The location offers easy access to a private beach and tour options. The staff offers excellent, friendly service.

Pros Resort on the whole is well maintained and pretty with hedges with flowers. It is a beautiful property and has a lot of potential. It was great that our room was just steps away from the beach, and we didn’t have to take elevators or walk downhill to go there. We enjoyed early morning and late evening walks on the beach. I would suggest wearing walking shoes - we founds the sand to be compact and hard. The water is shallow for quite a bit in, and warm. We enjoyed that. The sunsets are stunning! We felt safe walking and also leaving our stuff on chairs ( no shortage experienced) and a a big thank you to their security guards who were always there keeping an eye on things and people. Servers at the restaurant were all nice, but the best of them was Chris whose smile and energy made having meals there a real treat. three other people that were very helpful, attentive, cordial, and friendly as well were Maurizio, Doug and Joseph. A big thank you to them! Cons There are number of major deficiencies in this place. ROOM - it is in need for a complete overhaul. We were in 12 A There is little room to place clothing, and baggage, just a small closet. This is simply due to poor design. No table or luggage rack. And by the way, this is a junior suite that we paid for with Ocean view. Yes we did get the ocean view. There is mould in the washroom ( see picture). Around the toilet (on the side of shower) I doubt if it ever gets cleaned. Taking a shower is an ordeal because sometimes the overhead shower comes on unsolicited. The water pressure is low (I finally figured out the day before we left that if I kept pulling the knob out, the pressure was good, but the moment I let go, the pressure would drop). LAUNDRY - To get laundry done here it was quite an ordeal, and something we had never experienced before. Everywhere we have travelled, laundry is picked up and brought back to your room. Here, for $30.00 US for 11 articles, here is what happened. There were no forms in the room nor bag for laundry -nothing. We first had to go to the front desk, and ask about it, and then they gave us a bag but no form. We had to bring our clothes to the front desk. Then the girl brought a form out and asked us how many shirts etc.!!! By this time we didn’t remember, so now we take our dirty laundry out and count them on their counter!!! I asked if it would be brought to the room, and she said yes. But, they did not. Instead they kept it, and were waiting for us to come pick it up! I don’t know if they are lazy (oh yes, we did see a few lazy examples floating around, nice as they were) but it is totally unacceptable poor service. FOOD - uninspiring to say the least. Big issue - LABEL your food!!! We had to open up every lid to check and guess - hmm…is this chicken? Or beef? Or fish? It would be a simple matter of putting a label designating what the food is - it is done everywhere else! We had two dinners at the newer hotel next door. The surf and turf was

Quick summary. Would NEVER stay at this hotel to recommend this hotel to anyone. If you consider staying please read this long review that i was dreading to write. It very important as you don’t want to be surprised when you get there and waste your money. Positives: 1. It’s gated 2. Has beach access with some chair although next to red ant piles 3. AC works 4.
