H10 Salauris Palace

3rd time we have stayed here, but wasn’t upto H10 standards. Just arrived home from a 4 night break. This time we brought family with us. Out of the 4 days there in the restaurant, we only got asked once if we would like a drink with our food in the afternoon and night time, ( 9 people yes 9 of us ) so in the end I went the bar my self and it’s about 50 meters away. When I came back with the drinks the male manager shouted I’m not allowed to bring drinks in. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I immediately told him that There isn’t enough waiters, and in 2 days we hadn’t had a drink with our food, so decided to go the bar myself and buy it there. I also told him I will continue to do this for the rest of my holiday, and he soon shut up. There was not enough staff and cooks in the restaurant, we was stood at the live cooking for 7 minutes before the cooks decided to come out, it was unbelievable, an embarrassing as we told our family the H10 hotels are amazing, as we usually stay in the H10 Vintage, and the H10 Delfin in Salou, which are absolutely fantastic, as with all the other H10 Hotels we stay in. At the cooking station there’s a que for omelettes, and the same que for fried eggs. When the eggs get put out, people just go to the front of the que an take them, which is not there fault, as the hotel should have signs saying which que is for eggs and omelettes as this was causing trouble between residents. Also there was only one cook which was unbelievable as they couldn’t keep up with the demand, and resulted in your breakfast going cold. And dinner and evening meal. Please please H10 get more staff or people will go else where like the Olympus Palace or Marblau. Also waited at reception for pool towels for 20 minutes as there was people checking in, for then to be told you have to go down the stairs to the spa,, Why not put a sign above reception, so whilst people are queuing for towels they will see it an go down stairs rather than waiting an wasting there time. This happened on many occasions whilst we was sat in the lobby, so come on surely the staff should realise this. Kids was all disappointed as in the 4 days they never done pizza, a don’t think they actually do in the full board. Whilst this is one of the only family H10’s left in Salou in this area, as the vintage is now an adult only and the delphin is,its unbelievable. Also the vintage and Delfin do amazing food and pizzas. Cleaners are amazing, the place is spotless. The beds are lovely a comfy. Check in staff lovely. But due to the lack of staff in the restaurants we didn’t enjoy it, and it will be our last time we visit. Please go to the vintage an Delfin a see how they run them, as the are amazing. Thank you. Great hotel. We've been a few times. However the smoking in and around the pool is very bad. In the UK it's illegal to smoke indoors and we will have to choose a hotel that's non-smoking in future. We are not comfortable with smoke around our children. My husband ended up with a horrible headache. People also smoke in their rooms. It's very strong.

arrived 1 october are first meal we seen the chef touch raw meat then touch cooked food without washing his hands 2nd night he did the same.. we mentioned it to the care manager her resonse was amazing she said he washed is hands when he started 2nd complaint are safe in are room wouldnt open on 4 different nights ad to keep ringing reception to get it sorted..then to top it all all are 2nd week we ad trouble getting anyone to clean are room sunday nothing no clean towels or toilet roll ..monday ad 2 ask a maid to clean are room carried on all week weds no towels again friday maid changed are bed bot never gave us clean towels or toilet rolls utter shambles.. finally the hand dryers in the mens and womens toilets musnt of been cleaned in months smelt like the sewers..then not just us not going back but loads of couples that have been going years said they not going again as standards dropped so much

Stopped here for a 5 night stay for my birthday. Great location as it was close to the park and we went here for 3 visits. Walking distance to the beach and shops were close as well which was good. The rooms were decent and spacious as well as being cleaned daily. The facilities were to a good standard with the pool, bar area, sunbeds and also spa etc. Cant fault that one bit! Only issue I had which is quite a major one for me is that I was not allowed to wear a vest top in the restaurant, which I found to be ridiculous because the hotel deemed it not suitable attire for a guy. Even though people were in there in football tops, shorts, tracksuits, hoodies and women had vest tops and next to nothing on as well. I get hot very easily and it was 27c in Salou at the time it was very warm. I always wear vest tops even in the UK and to smarten up also with jeans at night which makes it look a lot smarter but no I wasn't allowed in. I did feel a bit discriminated against with this, I have stopped in 5 star luxury hotels all around the world eating in some of the finest restaurants and never had a problem wearing a vest so it was not good at all. It would have been a 4 or 5 star rating if this had not have happened, upon this I am not sure I would stop here again.

The H10 Salauris Palace, is in a great location to go to Port Adventure & Ferrari Land. You can't check in until 3 pm, so we had to leave our luggage in the lock up room. The beach is about 10 minutes away. Bars, restaurants & shopping nearby. Very good location, it has a very impressive reception area, with friendly staff, ( apart from the customer relations manager, she seemed to look down her nose at everybody ). Plenty of seating areas inside & outside. ROOMS - Great size, 2 big comfy double beds pushed together. 2 big mirrored wardrobes lots of space in them. FREE safe included. Fridge, TV only had 1 English channel. Armchair & table in the corner. Soft closing drawers & doors great idea stopped the noise. Large balcony with good size dryer we got all our washing dried. Bathroom - double walk in shower great water pressure & always hot water - no bath, toiletries included & good quality. Towels & bedding changed regularly, fantastic cleaners always did a very god job thank you ! FOOD - The restaurant was chaotic at times, lots of queues at he entrance to get in. There are a lot more 4* hotels in Salou, with better quality foods. It was luke warm most of the time. Breakfast - cooking station, the chef will do fresh omelettes,pancakes & fried eggs. Bacon, eggs, sausages, black pudding, cheese, ham, cereals, breads, pastries, fresh fruit. Coffee, juices, water. Dinner - cooking station, meat & fish. Salads, soup, cheese, ham, fresh meats. 3- 4 luke warm choices a couple of veg. Shell fish. Desserts, fruit. Good quality ice cream. Children's section that they couldn't really get to as it was to close to the adults queuing for warm food also adults eating all the children's chips & potatoes as they didn't put it with the warm food. The children's section should be on a separate area. The pizza was shocking, worst ever, the staff need training. Loud & noisy like a school canteen. Nice large pool with disabled hoist. Lots of sunbeds, you have to chase the sun round. Sunbathing area on the top of the Hotel is great, fantastic views of Reus, Ferrari Land & the surrounding area. Great for topping up your tan. Jacuzzi, shower & toilets. The area was looking a bit tied, decking needed repainting, but the best place in Salou for sunbathing. Adults only area over 16's only. Live entertainment every night, kids club, pool tables, video games, air hockey. Children's aster turf football pitch, children's play area Lots of places to sit & read, free reading books to borrow. Jet2 & TUI rep desks. Steam room & sauna. You can hire pool towels 5 euros each towel refundable on return, 1 euro for washing. Well equipped gym, indoor pool you need to wear a swimming hat. Underground parking. Room tip, wouldn't pay for a pool view - noise from the entertainment on a day & night until 12 am ( usual in Spain ). We had a room overlooking the road, facing Ferrari Land which was quiet & nice views. We would go back if we got a good price, b

This is our 2nd time coming to this hotel would highly recommend this excellent hotel great staff fantastic entertainment great activities day and night for kids and adults the team are so friendly and always happy and make your holiday all the bar staff restaurant in fact everyone so nice PAU and his members of staff are so nice and helpful make you feel welcome also nice to see people from last year who visited the hotel didn't want to come home hopefully return 2024 we all enjoyed the lovely pool and water fall especially my son he didn't want to get out the foam party was amazing

Amazing! Wow what can I say. First of all I would like to say a big thank you to each and everyone who works at this hotel. Everyone so lovely and friendly, the food was lovely plenty to choose from, pool fab loved the aqua aerobics, animation team wow just fab working so hard to keep everyone happy and entertained, I’ve made so many friends. I was having Spanish lessons from a member of staff in the lobby bar, just so lovely, a special mention to the reception staff, my husband needed to see a dentist quick, straight away on the computer, picked up the phone made an appointment and taxi was on the way, nothing was ever a problem to them, super helpful. Also a special mention Esmeralda so lovely and helpful I really do hope I get to see you again next year. Amazing thank you so much for everything. Excellent hotel which is worthy of all the good reveues. Very clean and modern, housekeeping looked after your rooms daily and made the beds. The food is so tasty and varied, never had any issues with sunbeds although they are limited compared to the amount of guests. Entertainment was poor what we saw though, but we went out into Salou most nights so didn't bother us. Hotel staff very friendly. Only issue was on the last night we had a water running noise on floor 5 and clunking coming from the corridor ceiling which kept us awake all night. Went down to hotel reception in early hours but they didn't know what was causing it, we think it was coming from the rooftop jacuzzi as it was directly above our room in 527. All in all, would definitely recommend though.
