The room was perfect and they had it ready an hour before check-in time.

The location is very good. Online check-in was chaotic; there wasn't a contact person to speak to in person. The hostel's appearance was average, but the rooms were much better. In an 8-room suite, there was only one key. The first day had no water pressure and cold water. The second day had no water at all. They were unable to resolve the problem. I wouldn't repeat the experience.

My husband, my parents, and I stayed in a room with an ensuite bathroom, which was very clean, with good beds and pillows. The bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent, a delight. It's located within the historic center, so you can do everything on foot. There was no noise disturbance. I only suggest that the hostel replace the timed fans, as the summer in Salamanca is very hot and we prefer the fan running continuously all night. I recommend the place and will return when I can. Look for somewhere else. Not recommended at all. It doesn't have air conditioning and it's incredibly hot. The fan is so dirty it's better not to turn it on. The advertising is misleading. If you read "fan," you'd think it was a ceiling fan typical of a bedroom, but it's an old, dirty mini fan. Then you open the window to get some air, and the noise is unbearable. Impossible to rest. I'll never return to this place. The bathroom is super small, damp, and uncomfortable. Anyway, the only positive thing is that it's centrally located.
