Inn at Woodhaven-in the Heart of the Bourbon Trail-over 12 Distilleries Nearby

Jeremy and Mark are gracious hosts and have a beautiful place! If architecture is your thing or want something different than a hotel, this is a perfect alternative. The Inn is located in a quaint area of Louisville. It is close to the highway and restaurants and shopping. I am definitely planning to come back here the next time I come to Louisville.

If you are considering staying at this BnB, do not hesitate. This building is around 170 years old, and filled with character! The architecture is excellent! Mark and Jeremy are also excellent hosts.The entire house smells like Mark’s baked goods, and they taste as good as they smell. We stayed in the attic which was very spacious and SUPER clean. Also amazing old brickwork and arches. The bathroom is also next level, featuring a steam shower and jetted tub. The breakfasts was off the rails! We had the biscuits and gravy, the omelet, and the French toast. ALL of it was amazing, and so was the coffee! We will 100% be back to stay at the Inn at Woodhaven. Mark and Jeremy are 100% running this at top level.

What can I say that others haven't? Fabulous innkeepers and incredible house. Mark and Jeremy are very loving caretakers of this beautiful house. Easy parking and quiet neighborhood, and the apartments surrounding the house, while surprising, don't take away from anything. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The Inn at Woodhaven is not just a 5-star inn, but also a destination place to stay. The innkeepers' mantra is to pay attention to details, and they succeed in every way. The Inn is immaculate and exceptionally well appointed with pieces reflecting the Inn's history. Located conveniently just minutes away from fine dining and local attractions, the Inn is a great base from which to hit the Bourbon Tral, see Churchill Downs, or explore NuLu. Jeremy and Mark are superb hosts and knowledgeable of the area for suggestions on both sights and dining. Breakfasts are served in a formal dining room and, unlike most inns, you have a choice of quite a few fantastic options. I recommend the Caramel French Toast. Don't miss Mark's fresh baked pastries. In the evening, be sure to get Jeremy to make one of his signature Old Fashions.

We had a great experience. The accommodations were wonderful and the breakfast menu was excellent. Location is great and it doesn’t take long to get to downtown Louisville. The entire place is very clean. The owners were very nice and can recommend several interesting things to do.

Arriving at the Inn was so welcoming. Jeremy and Mark are such gracious hosts. It felt like stepping back in time, yet had all the amenities expected of a 5 star hotel. Our room was luxurious and the most comfortable bed imaginable. The fresh breakfast and pastries set us up for our day to explore beautiful Louisville.

Our stay here was the best in hospitality, comfort, and those little extras like cookies that made you feel right at home. Jeremy and Mark are phenomenal hosts and pay great attention to detail and making sure your stay is wonderful. The bed was so comfortable, the Attic Suite was beautiful and the bathroom with the whirlpool was so relaxing. The breakfasts were so good with the french toast being our favorite. We loved our 3 night stay here and were sad to leave. We will definitely be back!!!

Although we live in Louisville, I thought this would be a nice way to celebrate my wife's birthday. We stayed in the Rose Cottage, a freestanding octagonal Victorian cottage on the grounds that is pet friendly (we brought our two Labradoodles). It was very comfortable, fully equipped, and beautiful inside, with an elaborate 25 foot ceiling - great for a romantic get-away. Brown Park is less than two blocks away and has a paved trail for us to walk the dogs. Breakfast was cooked to order from a short menu of upscale options, perfectly prepared, plus various baked goods. My breakfast pie was great, but the eggs Benedict also looked really tempting. The optional $60 wine and cheese plate I had left in our room came with 5 huge wedges of various cheeses (probably 2 lbs of things like brie, Gorgonzola, Manchego, etc.), plus crackers and a bottle of wine - more of a loss leader than inflated like most places. I took a lot home - too good to waste. There are many good restaurants in the area, but we decided to eat in to spend as much of our time as possible at the Inn, so we ordered Door Dash and waited for the delivery driver in the rockers on the huge front porch.

This was a 40th anniversary trip for us, and I wanted it to be special…and it most definitely was special in every respect. Jeremy and Mark are focused on all the details that make it a 5 Star experience. The is is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed and the breakfast is amazing!!
