Stayed here for one night recently while in town for a marching band competition. The location is very convenient for getting to The Dome at America's Center and very convenient to get back on the expressway to head back to Illinois so the location is a plus. There is nothing particularly ”bad” about the hotel but it just is in need of updating. The rooms are very dated from the carpet to the doors to the furniture. The popcorn ceilings are the biggest indicator that things have not been updated in a long time. Beds are old and noisy. Hilton would be wise to start doing a hard goods refurbishment in each room and bring in fresh carpet, paint, furniture, and countertops. Having said that, the on-site parking was inexpensive and convenient and the breakfast area in the lower level of the hotel was the largest seating area I've seen at a Hilton property so that was nice. Update the rooms and this Hampton could be quite a gem.

Two of the main things I looked for when booking was a pool and free parking. The pool was indoors which was fine. Was surprised to see how small it was and was a big let down that it was so freezing we couldn’t enjoy it at all. So it was a let down that one of the main reasons I booked here we didn’t get to use the pool. This place does have newer furniture in its rooms but the floor throughout and the furniture it the lobby is just stained up and dingy. The signs on 1st floor for ice machine/vending are wrong. Asked a rude house keeper that was upset bc I guess I interrupted her cleaning. She had told me it was around the corner…. The out of order machine was on the other side of the building. I finally found me an ice machine on next floor. The people at the front desk are very nice and courteous. Really nice. But wish they had explained more on their parking so that I didn’t end up with a ticket each day I was there. So they have no free parking lots at the moment. You either have to park in their drop off zone are a section of street parking on the side. The other lots available you have to pay per day. Due to this I found a spot on the side (side street parking as they suggested) and I didn’t move my car. I kept it there the entire time and walked everywhere I needed to go. Well when I went to leave I had parking tickets racked up for several days. I went in and asked them if that was there parking as told previously and they said yes. I told them about the tickets and they said it was managed by the city and u have to back in or get a ticket. That would be nice to know when you offer that as a parking suggestion. I go out to lot to see if there was a sign. There was a sign many spots down that in the direction I was coming from wouldn’t have seen. I also looked all almost every vehicle was parked wrong way so obviously they weren’t told or didn’t see sign either. I started warning those I could. $30 a day ticket city it making a lot of money of that small parking section from out of towners etc that don’t know ST Louis parking laws …. The hotel won’t warn u of this and they know. Besides these couple things everything else was good.

It rained on the day we went, the rain stopped and there was a rainbow near the arch. It can be seen in the hotel room. The accommodation is good and the service is also very good. There are restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies and side doors within 200 meters. Arches and the old court, you can take the subway in ten minutes, it is the subway, don't follow the Google map on the road lost ~ strongly recommend the sushi love on the main road, there is a 20-knife buffet, very good and delicious, right, Please bring your own slippers and toothbrush toothpaste. Many foreign hotels do not provide ~

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. There is no available breakfast as advertised. There is no restaurant as advertised; there is a printed menu in the bar but it was not serving. One of the reasons I was staying was for the breakfast as part of my IHG rewards perks. I was promised points for the lack of breakfast but was not given any. Looking at past reviews, breakfast has been gone for a long time despite the advertisement of it. Additionally, the parking garage instruction email gave the incorrect parking garage, which cost me money to exit to park in the correct one. The access to the correct parking garage was confusing. An address is not even given, just turning instructions, and access is via a bank lobby. There was no upgrade or perk given to Diamond members. In fact, this was so blatantly disregarded that I have no idea why anyone would spend big with loyalty at IHG. I was not allowed late check out, even by 30 minutes. I’ve never had such lack of accommodation when I told them I might run late. In fact, the evening staff told me “check out at 12 would be fine, but confirm with the morning staff” and the morning staff didn’t allow a minute past 11. The front desk had a single person working it which caused long lines at the desk. I was not offered any solution or refund for their errant instructions on the parking garage. The phone in the room did not work. Overall, what should’ve been a relaxing stay ended up with chaos. I should’ve read more reviews before booking. I still never got any of the points promised for the lack of breakfast but I am done dealing with this nightmare hotel.

My teen son and I stayed two nights. It was better than we had hoped. The rooms are enormous. We had a wet bar with refrigerator, a couch and two queen beds, plus a beautiful, large bathroom. This was a standard room. Absolutely worth the bargain price! They gave us a 15th floor room with a rooftop view of surrounding buildings. Definitely request a high floor room, the lower floor rooms face directly into the windows of nearby buildings. The only bummer was the parking situation. The parking is not on site. It was worth it to us to pay for the valet service because it is not a great neighborhood, but if you try to save money in that department you will be schlepping your luggage across a busy street. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed this hotel. P.S. Don't expect to eat here; their menu is severely limited due to the pandemic.

Hotel is in Cardinal nation and right across a small street from the stadium. The hotel was clean and inviting. Room was spacious, comfy beds and clean. Bathroom was nice. No pool but exercise room faces the stadium. We didn't eat breakfast there as the prices were really high.

If this hotel is representative of what Marriott is doing with Westin's, the Westin brand is deteriorating. Plastic cups in the rooms like a Best Western. Quattro restaurant is poor; asked for glasses for wine and one glass was very dirty. Quattro delivered our dinner to the wrong room; when we got the dinner it was not what we ordered. Thermostat in room was 'dead'; if not fixed management would make us move everything to a different room at 8:30 pm. Maintenance found that when the filters were changed the thermostat was not turned on! And the guest had to discover the thermostat was not working. Westin still has comfortable beds. Fortunately the valet and front desk people were good--although the staffing is very thin until 7am when the nightshift ends! Do not recommend and will avoid Westins in the future.

I needed to stay near WashU and was without a car - without much research I found this hotel which appears to be the only one near the university and also near restaurants. (I may be wrong). I spent two nights. First, the hotel has a quirky moon theme. Fine. It mainly consists of a couple of glass display cases near the lobby with a moon related collection of tchatchkes. Beyond that there is a mild ”mid century” feel and a big moon on top of the hotel located at the rooftop bar. Pros: location at Delmar loop and near university Cons: This is an old hotel with very superficial ”improvements”. Feels like a 1980 hotel covered up. Lots of ”dings” around from being bumped and used. The chair and other furniture in the room had stains and were worn. The hallway smelled. The price was steep for the quality of the place Went to the rooftop bar and was met by surly bouncer. Weird. The front desk staff were okay but seemed unprofessional/too relaxed I had 3 suitcases and no one offered to help me to the elevator etc The BED was completely terrible. Had to be very old. Sunken in the middle, totally soft. had to be low quality such as few springs as the whole thing bounced all over when touched. I hardly slept for two nights. If not for this awful bed I likely would not have bothered writing a review as the rest was all forgettable. I'll be going back to St Louis and I'll figure out something else next time.

I was almost dreading the fact that I needed a room at aSt. Louis airport for a night after reading the reviews on here. My friends and I decided on the renaissance . We had a total of three rooms . What a great hotel ! From check in to check out everything was wonderful ! We arrived in a Saturday afternoon and had early flights on Sunday . At check in the ladies were funny and attentive and made sure to book us on the airport shuttle. The rooms were large and spotless. AC/heat was quiet and worked perfectly . The lobby bar was lively and had all sporting events on tvs. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was a perfect choice . Our server was attentive and very chill despite being overwhelmed. I had steak that was prepared to order and deserts were shared . I would come back here anytime ! And would go as far as to say I would stay here no matter what I needed in St. Louis .

When we first arrived the counter attendant did not have our reservations. I had to call Trip to get it straightened up. It was finally done but it took an extra 30 minutes.

All my reviews use the same format, so it isn't just a general review, but breaks out each area and then a total score. Any questions, please let me know. This was a couples stay while attending the CITY SC match. ARRIVAL: My wife and I decided to give this property a go since it was close to CITY Park. Normally would Uber to and from our house but wanted to make a long day out of it. Hotel is easy to get to and the parking garage is located on the south side of the hotel adjacent to the CITY training pitch. CHECK-IN: Check-in was fairly quick. We did use points which made it a little confusing for some reason. The front desk staff seemed kind of annoyed until we decided to break the ice and share some back-and-forth banter with her. We received our room assignment proceeded to drop our bags to begin our afternoon of per-match fun. PROPERTY: A newer FBM property the layout aligns with the brand. Bar and common area for breakfast as well as a outdoor patio area with fire pits, and couches and chairs. Property seemed clean and secure with no way to get inside without a key. ROOM/ACCOMODATIONS: Our room was acceptable. FBM standard King. It was clean and nothing seemed out of place. A newer property there were no complaints. Mini fridge to house drinks, etc and a nice view towards Union Station looking over the training pitch for CITY SC. STAFF/SERVICE: Knowing that staff is a struggle in hospitality, the front desk was a little unwelcoming. We really didn’t interact with anyone outside of them but the bartender after the match really was NOT having a good night. Many loud patrons after a win by the boys in red across the street. Many patrons really doing their best to be as loud as possible. She was not happy and asked on repeat for them to keep it down or they would have to leave. FOOD:/BAR: Drinks were ok. Not amazing but on par with the brand. Breakfast was your average quick serve buffet with a host of items to pick from. We had a light meal and then departed. SUMMARY:. This property has a great location for those wanting a place to stay for CITY matches. Right across from the South End and with a safe parking facility we would try this one again. Rate without points would have been $129 which is a few dollars less than other higher start properties nearby. To compare, Union Station (Hilton) was $138. If we were paying, I would have opted for that property. Scoring: CHECK-IN: 7/10 PROPERTY: 8.0 ROOM: 8.0 STAFF/SERVICE: 6.0/10 FOOD/BAR: 6.0/10 OVERALL WEIGHTED: 7.10
GGuest UserLocation in proximity to city attractions is amazing 5/5. Location in terms of safety is 2/5. There isn’t a covered secured lot for your car and I was approached by many people asking me for money while taking a walk around the building. Service is hit or miss. When I arrived, and attempted to open my car door, I was accosted by the valet who yelled at me and asked me what I was TRYING to do. I told him I was checking in to the hotel. And he was aggressively unpleasant, seemingly angry that I had arrived. Conversely, the valet attendant the next day was polite and wonderful. The front desk was nice but did not review any of the amenities nor offer any information about the hotel, which is a shame. Nice but inattentive and uninterested. The service at both Idol Wolf and Good Press were 5/5. The food at both were 5/5. The hotel itself is gorgeous. There’s art set in an old gym. The renovation is well done. Enjoyed it very much. The view from the room was also very nice. The room itself was standard with a few attention to detail things needing addressed. Such as broken handles and non working bathroom fixtures. Overall would recommend this hotel because it is unique. Big plus - they allow pets!!! Yes!
Stayed 1nt in a queen room #1001 on 10th floor with a coffee maker, individual controlled air con & also a ceiling fan in Aug & was very cool to sleep. Bathroom had a shower/tub combo with sliding doors. On the same floor is a pool table room & a reading room with tons of books, recliners, a piano & sheet music! On the 8th floor with the ice machine, snack vending machine & drink vending machine, there is also a microwave! The rooms don’t have one but you can go here to heat up your leftovers👍 Free shuttle to/from cardinals game; first departure 1 hr before game. Parking garage is $18 & is in & out. Bring ticket in for reception to validate. & it is Almost attached…just across a one way tiny street from the back entrance..didn’t see an elevator so park on 2nd level if possible(1st floor for “members”) We walked to & from cardinals game & it was quick, easy & safe. We would stay here again if the price was still much better than the other hotels in the area. Also: they have a water bottle refilling station in the lobby (sort of hidden across from check in by the coat check room)
LLori KayMy trip was OK until I got ready to check out. My vehicle has been sitting in front of the hotel lobby in everybody’s way for six hours. I left my keys with the valet service to go park my vehicle. No one knew where my car keys were at my vehicle had been moved over to the side. The staff was just avoiding me in the situation saying they would call me back and then they wouldn’t. It was time to check out I didn’t want to have to pay for another night I was supposed to be at work I missed work. Finally the front desk called me they had found my keys they did not tell me where. They took the parking charge off of my bill and that was it. I really thought they should wave they charge for my entire stay I missed a days work almost lost my job and went through countless hours of stress because that’s the only set of keys I had. I’m not so sure someone didn’t take my jeep somewhere all night and bring it back early in the morning. I don’t see how I could’ve sat in that spot all night long in everyone’s way without someone getting a hold of me. There is a half a tank a gas gone and I’m not sure about the mileage. I think I deserve a refund for my stay personally
AAnonymous UserThe place was okay, not what I would consider to be “very clean” there were hairs here and a lighter beneath the bed but the room served its purpose. Trip.com says there’s a pool, yet when i got here, no pool :( that was my only reason for booking this specific place, it even showed a picture of a pool. This is the second time this has happened to me unfortunately, guess i’ll learn to call and double check next time! The ladies at the front desk were SO nice and helpful upon arrival though!
GGOYzuetaOverall, a wonderful experience at the Last Hotel.
Cons: inconsistent staff kindness/helpfulness. Like so many places right now, they seem to be understaffed and some employees handle that load better than others. We experienced quite an outburst from one valet employee but noted that most are trying to be as helpful as possible with what they have. There also were only a handful of rooms ready by check-in, but they let us use their pool in the meantime.
Pros: Awesome pool - great view. Our room??? Stunning! We felt spoiled and slept like babies. Truly beautiful renovations, great craftsmanship and fun personality. Hotel felt safe even in the midst of a louder part of town with a rough nightlife.
Tip: it’s expensive but pay for valet. They were prompt in their service, the gated lots nearby don’t have in and out privileges, and you’ll want to keep your car off the street overnight.
GGuest UserSuper clean and friendly hotel especially if Dori is working. I use this hotel when I take my daughter to doctor appointments and have always been treated great. Dori goes above and beyond to help me out accommodating our needs for my special needs daughter. Without her here I wouldn't think so highly of the place. Great work Dori!!!
鑫鑫匀I have stayed at this hotel many times. Every time I come to St. Louis to stay here, the main room can cook, there is a suite and there is a sofa bed, but the disadvantage is that the beds are slumped, very soft and uncomfortable. It is convenient to have a washer and dryer on each floor. Light meals and beer are available at around 5 pm from Monday to Thursday. They are provided free of charge. It is simple in the morning but still full. There are a lot of people on the weekends, mostly black but safe.
GGuest UserDouble charge you on your credit card and don’t release your funds right away. Poor customer service. No Refrigerator or microwave in the room. No social distancing in the hotel. Only thing they did have was good food.
