The St Clair Inn is a very special place - it is just so lovely in all respects. Delightful rooms, beautiful view, exceptional staff, we were treated like family. Thank you for a great weekend.

Rooms are on the small side but very clean and homey feeling. It’s like a master bedroom. Staff was super nice and very helpful. We stayed in the winter so we didn’t explore outside but the views from indoors are gorgeous. The restaurant had delicious food. The continental breakfast is available on weekdays. It included some yummy pastries, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. I would choose to stay at a place like this over a chain hotel any day.

Lovely area to visit for a short getaway, hotel is beautiful, fantastic views and restaurant is excellent. Room was a bit noisy, walls seem very thin as we could hear our neighbours talking till early in the morning. 2nd visit and would return again.

My wife and I stayed at Inn for our Wedding Anniversary if though we live in East China Township because of the comments we have received and it more than met our expectations. If there was a negative it would have to be the Southern Dinner Buffet. I saw the fried chicken, so I had that, and my wife had the Brisket sandwich with Au Jus. The brisket sandwich was exceptional whereas the chicken was cold and no gravy for the mashed potatoes.

This hotel is so under rated. Filled with refined culture, historic features, beautiful waterfront access, gorgeous rooms, fantastic staff and delicious complementary breakfast, this is my favorite hotel in Michigan.
Much respect for the team here and all the efforts that went into bringing 1926 back with modern amenities at a reasonable price.
This is a must stay for those seeking a get away and a chance to enjoy nautical proximity mixing with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ quality.

Like many old inns, the rooms were small. Our room was hot the entire duration of the trip. We had the window open with a fan in it the entire duration of our stay-in Michigan, in mid December!
Was not easy to get morning coffee. No free coffee service in lobby, and to purchase a cup was $3.50 for basic, average coffee. Would probably not stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds, nice rooms very clean. Best part is the view of the lake and watching freighters going by. We will definitely go again.
