It’s an absolute bliss to stay in Suginoya, a luxurious ryokan in Saga. Our saga beef sukiyaki dinner was truly memorable as the quality of the meat was top notch- so soft yet flavorful, something we will remember for a long time. We enjoyed relaxing in the private and public bath, soaking in the zen vibes of the hotel and lounging in the spacious and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and tried to converse in English as best as possible. 100% recommend as we felt fully pampered here like it was our honeymoon all over again!

Very pretty onsen ryokan with wonderful view! All staffs are friendly, delicious food, we had a great stay!

While the reception/ lobby of the property is beautiful (and the wood and flowers smell really good), the room corridors of the main building seem to be a little old. The room itself is large but cosy, and has a very nice mountain view. Very relaxing to just sit by the window and have tea. The public onsen (both men and woman) also has a fantastic mountain view and really cute sauna rooms. We liked the Sukiyaki dinner but be aware that the smell clings on your clothings and you'll smell like Sukiyaki the whole evening :D

The hotel environment is very comfortable, and the staff are very friendly, but the food has room for improvement. I don't know if the tabletop in the room is discolored or not clean. The paper towels turned yellow when I brushed them with water. But overall very comfortable. 👍🏻

The environment is great, away from the hustle and bustle, you can enjoy a quiet and clean day. Dinner is rich in Japanese food, including Saga beef, which is large and fresh. In addition, the Japanese breakfast is also very delicious. Here, I enjoyed two meals that were full of color, aroma and taste.

I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. First of all, the staff is very friendly and professional, they are always willing to help and answer my questions. Whether it was the front desk or room service, they always had a smile on their face and made me feel warmly welcomed. The hotel's facilities are very traditional Japanese. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a good sleep every night. The bath is beautifully designed and provides a variety of high-quality toiletries. Allows me to relax and unwind while traveling. Overall, this hotel provides a comfortable, luxurious and enjoyable stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone planning a trip here.
