BJ Apartamentos Club Sa Coma

This is our second time back at this complex and it has improved since our first stay, and I have to say we really loved the relaxed atmosphere of the entire complex which is a very short walk to the shops and beach of sa coma. The on site staff (24/7) are relaxed, friendly and courtious. The cleaning staff attend every 3 days to tend to the rooms. Powerful aircon in lounge and a fan in the bedroom. Shower gel and soap is provided as well as towels and toilet tissue. We took my elderly mother who was enthralled with the place and the area in general. This is a 2 star self catering complex that has a bar/reception/pool table area that sells hot and cold drinks and ice cream. However they are quite highly priced for what you get but it's either that or a quick toddle down to the shops to pay slightly less! The local shops (Spar) are approx 3 mins away walk for last min conveniences and the large supermarket is inside 10 mins away. My only slight ****** was the kitchen area or lack thereof which is a bit tired, stained and in need of an upgrade. It has a hob, a sink, a kettle, toaster and microwave which is like a game of chess to move things around in order of which appliance you need. It does have pans, crockery and cutlery but not at a high standard for fine dining. However this is a holiday so cheese toasties and bacon sandwiches did the trick for us in the most part. The fridge was a decent size to store milk, water and and keep drinks cold. The pool area is lovely and has a good mixed age range of both young children to the elderly. Multi nationalities all quite happy relaxing enjoying the weather. I also have to give a shout out to JJ's restaurant which is about 600 yards away as the bird flies for proper cooked breakfasts, drinks and evening meals (I've written a review on them also) We are looking to book again in the next 12 months.

You get what you pay for! Basic no frills self catering apartment. Perfect for a base to get your head down & go out & explore. Great location for Sa Coma Beach, Cala Millor, Cala Anguila, Cala Mandria & other beautiful beaches not too far away. Close to all amenities - shopping, supermarkets, restaurants. A couple of small issues.... Plug for hair drier in bathroom in pieces, (see photo) so we just washed hair & either went out or sat on balcony to dry our hair! Toilet a bit grubby (see photos). Paint on wall in living room - painter couldn't be bothered to pull the table out to paint behind it 🤣 (see photo) Supposed to "hire" the TV remote, didn't, but not a problem... No TV for a week so we actually talked to each other instead, what a revelation! Had to slam balcony door to shut it. No lighting on staircase up to our top floor apartment. A bit dangerous coming back or going out at night. My main issue, which the hotel cannot help with, was the dogs at the rear of our block (100) in a residential area. Barking & howling throughout the night. Disturbed sleep every night for the week. Because of that last issue, I probably wouldn't stay here again.

The room was clean but cooking facilities and utensils poor or non existent. I didn’t plan on cooking so it didn’t matter too much. Cups and glasses very small so we bought a couple from the shop. Fridge is tiny. Pool small but ok. Some people tried reserving sun beds overnight but staff removed their towels. There is no restaurant or anywhere to buy food only crisps in the complex but we ate out at many different places and they were all nice. The nearby shops are experience so I would recommend going to the carrefour supermarket which is like a huge sainsbury or Asda.

Absolutely disgusting and unsanitised accommodation. Ground floor apartment and patio door doesn't lock so anyone can get in. Rusty fridge and microwave. Self catering for 4 people but only crockery etc for 2. Best of all are the cockroaches!! Apartment had been sprayed before we got in as it stunk of insecticide to the point of giving me a headache. A dying cockroach 🪳 under the sofa and when we complained we were given a can of insecticide and dustpan & brush!! Got up at 4am and couldn't use the toilet as floor was crawling in cockroaches. Complained to jet 2 and told to email their complaints department which can take 28 days to investigate and resolve. Some kid pooped 💩 in the pool yesterday so they fished it out, added more chlorine and reopened it...a homeless shelter would be more sanitised than this place.

We enjoyed our stay here. Things were all clean and comfortable and the decor was modern. There was always hot water, although the water pressure was a bit variable. Air con was included with no extra charge payable locally. We did pay for the safe key (which was very small - passports and cash only) but that is standard. We had plenty of towels, although cleaning was only twice a week which wasn't so great with the sand... It would be nice if there was a dustpan and brush, even maybe one per floor near the stairs? So that you had the option to clean up in between yourself if you wanted. Microwave and kettle provided. We also got a travel cot with no problem which was very clean and new looking. They also provided the bedding for us to use the sofa beds if we preferred. Even with the air con it did get very hot overnight because the unit is positioned in the living area, quite a distance from where you are sleeping. The swimming pool was never overcrowded and we always got loungers together when we wanted them. If you have mobility issues, bear in mind there are no lifts so you would need to request ground floor. The ramped access to the complex is also extremely steep and more suited to buggies and luggage than a wheelchair; it certainly wouldn't pass UK legal standards! The pool also has no steps into it, only a ladder or getting in from the side without any handrail which was causing difficulties for other guests during our stay.

Amazing staff! Apartments basic but clean, lovely pool and bar area. Location is ace, and fab shower! There is not much equipment for self catering but if you ask they do their best for you. Massive shout out to Maria... She spent hours and went over and above to locate a bag my husband lost on the bus!! We had a lovely stay and would return another time.

Small complex so always enough sunbeds, great service from the staff, but the bedroom does not have air conditioning so sleeping is awful. In a great location close to shops, bars & restaurants. Pool was cleaned every day but it still had sand in the bottom of it ??

Very basic , clean perfectly located , staff lovely accommodating upon arrival late evening … mr Claus the perfect host for late evening ! Definitely will return . Thankyou to the staff you made our holiday . 😊

weve recently stayed in these apartments initailly for 2 adults one child in our booking. when we arrived and got keys to our apartment we were rather disapointment in the lack of the space of apartment , the patio door was not closing., kitchen door was very loose no cups tiny area to attempt to cook in and very little untensils if you tried to. there wasnt any bedding out for our grandson to sleep in we ended giving him the top cover off our bed to sleep in. The staff i cant fault they are extremely friendly do there best to help you out but i feel there working on a very tight budget , i know you never get the comforts of home on holiday but after paying 1900 for this holiday we were rather disappointed, then other guests that had arrived a few days earlier only paying 600 pounds left avery bitter taste in youre mouth ! the good points of these apartments are they are in a good quiet area of sa coma beach is only a short walk away there is a supermarket straight across the road again staff lovely in there. Eating out the happy bar down street does nice food and staff lovely there, there are array of eating places so you are spoilt for choice . The beach and promenade is a lovely walk to Sillot we spent alot of time walking through there . Overall we only spent a few hours wach day around the pool area each day and always got a sunbed . it is a shame because if these apartments had a revamp they could be made so more attractive unfortunately we shall not use them again
