Landhotel Maiergschwendt

At the beginning of June 2024, I stayed at the Landhotel Maiergschwendt for 6 days with my two dogs. The hotel is located just a few minutes' drive from Ruhpolding in the countryside and you can start hiking directly from the hotel. There is a bus stop in front of the house, supermarkets, gas stations and even a vet - everything is nearby in Ruhpolding. Getting there with two large dogs was no problem at all, I had booked a family room for more space, which consisted of a living room with balcony, bedroom, bathroom (bathtub with shower curtain) and another additional toilet. The view from the balcony was simply beautiful, a direct view of the mountains and nice and quiet. The rooms were a bit old and carpeted, but spotlessly clean. There was free WiFi, hygiene products and a bathrobe, and when I asked, they immediately put a small refrigerator in my room. The mattresses were a bit soft, but I was so exhausted every day that I still slept really well. The cleaning staff were super flexible, I just let them know when I was leaving with the dogs and they cleaned straight away. I was always very late for breakfast, but everything was still there, fresh and varied. The evening meal (I didn't have half board, but I ate there several evenings anyway) was also super delicious, I think the Kaiserschmarrn is the best I've ever eaten. There are other great restaurants in the area, Ruhpolding leaves nothing to be desired and the hotel sets a good example. I also treated myself to a massage and the masseur was great, absolutely recommended. In general, all the staff were very friendly and fulfilled my every wish, no matter how small, with a smile. Absolutely recommended - I felt very comfortable and would gladly come back again

Angebot war sehr gut. Fantastisches Frühstückbuffet und auch für das Abendessen konnte man aus drei Speisen auswählen. Sehr gute Lage. Personal war sehr freundlich. Der SPA- Bereich war großzügig und sehr sauber.

Angenehm großes Zimmer, aber renovierungsbedürftig. Matratzen durchgelegen. Abendessen durchschnittlich, beim Buffet zu wenig Auswahl und es wurde kaum nachgelegt, bzw. Fisch konnte nicht mehr nachgelegt werden und war somit nicht für alle Gäste vorhanden. Frühstück sehr gut und reichhaltig, allerdings wurde auch hier unaufmerksam nachgelegt

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub gemacht , und sind mit allem zufrieden. Es war wie immer alles bestens. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn man Fragen hatte wurde einem Geholfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Massagen super toll gewesen, leckeres und reichhaltiges Essen, sehr freundliches Personal, alles sehr sauber, Zimmer wirklich gut nur die Matratzen sollten ausgetauscht werden da alle durchgelegen, wurde von mehreren Gästen berichtet. Außerdem war der Lärmpegel durch die Schülergruppen schon sehr extrem aber es wurde sich durch das personal sofort darum gekümmert und es war dann auch viel besser
